When it comes to writing orange honestly I'd suggest you approach it the same way you'd approach writing smut for any other character. It would depend on whether or not she's had bottom surgery obvi, but overall she shouldn't be treated very differently from other characters! At most someone might be surprised if she whips out her dick (Then again, Lethal Company takes place in the 2500's, people probably don't care as much by then [hopefully])

I keep putting your little guys in situations..... I love them too much💚🧡❤️🤍🖤🩷🧡 (there's like 2 other au's I have in mind that I haven't even talked about yet)

Hybrid au Bishcky(?) Is soooooo so good to me because i think Bishop is like, 10x worse at acting like he isn't into Lucky. He is so obvious it's painful for other people to watch

You know how cats rub themselves against you in order to scent mark you? Bishop keeps doing that to Lucky, all the damn time. Whether it be making sure to rub up against Lucky when they pass by each other, lending him his clothes every chance he gets, or just blatantly rubbing his face up against Lucky (Lucky hate-Loves the face rubbing. It's cute until Bishop runs his face against Lucky's and then Lucky is painfully reminded about Bishop's beard) Lucky just assumes this is a weird way Cat people express their friendship towards others (He does not notice that Bishop does this to exclusively him)

Lucky will find out eventually, and when Bishop is confronted about it he becomes worlds #1 gaslighter like HELL he'd admit to what is essentially putting a big sign on Lucky that screams "THIS IS MY BOYFRIEND" To literally everyone within radius

Lucky doesn't really mind though, he's flattered honestly, and maybe a bit flustered too

Though.... it is a bit rude for Bishop to just leave his smell all over Lucky without even telling Lucky about it first, practically claiming him.... it's only fair if Lucky gets to "Claim" him as well in his own way, right?👀

(I'M JUST SAYING...... GROWER LUCKY + KNOT??????? I'M GOING CRAZY)

(Thinking about the knot process..... Lucky holding Bishop so so close to him as he gently grinds into him.... giving Bishop sweet praise [I saw the damn Bishop likes praise comment] and cuddling him and kissing him as he waits for his knot to come undone.... Bishop takes him so well- *EXLPODES*)

Thinking thinking thinking about Lucky and Bishop entangled in one another on a cold night, Lucky having his tail draped across the both of them while Bishop purrs so loud Lucky can feel the vibrations in the taller man's chest.... UGHH💚🧡💚🧡💚🧡💚🧡💚🧡💚

And Lucky being a Squirrel-Dog (Squog💀) is so fun because I think he'd have to keep himself from getting to excited while in public..... the amount of times he's accidentally knocked tables over because his big-ass tail started wagging is too many times to count and each time is more embarrassing than the last😭😭😭

Also thinking very heavily about the Avians and wing preening

Avian wings are sensitive, especially at the base. Most of them only ever let people they trust preen their wings, let alone touch them in the first place

Dove obviously let's Rabbit take care of her wings. It's one of the rare moments you'll find Rabbit so gentle and focused on her task, delicately realigning her feathers, removing any dirt or grime caught up in there. Rabbit likes to tease Dove on occasion, gently rubbing the base of her wing, feeling how Dive shivers under her touch, letting out the faintest of moans 🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️

Robin loves Wrench.... she really does.... but oh my god she does not trust that guy to preen her wings, at least not before excessive training. If Robin needs her wings looked after she will most likely go to Lucky (his hands are so small! He's so precise with his work) and if not Lucky she'll go to Max or Captain 1.0 (All 3 of them often help Robin with her wings on hangout days)

The first time Robin finally trusted Wrench with her wings he was so nervous! He tried to play it off he really did, but Robin was able to see right through him, and honestly she found it cute. Wrench honestly did a good job his first time! He's not as good as Lucky, but with more practice he'll get there eventually!

Captain almost never gets his wings preened. He's not keen on asking for help, and he doesn't fly around that much anyways. So it's fine. Probably.

That's a lie it's NOT FINE‼️‼️‼️‼️ Dove was the one who noticed that Captain had blood feathers. BLOOD FEATHERS‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ the moment she spotted them she was dragging Captain back to her house and forcing that man to sit his ass DOWN so she can fix up his wings

It takes a loooooong time since Captains wings are so big, but she eventually cleans him up properly. It becomes a routine for them (reluctantly on Captains part), Captain comes over to Dove and Rabbits and allows Dove to clean up his wings, making sure he doesn't get any infections. Robin eventually joins in to quicken the process for all of them

Pink wants to preen Captains wings SO FUCKING BAD IT MAKES HIM LOOK STUPID‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ FUCK

He promises he won't purposely touch the base of Captains wings he pinkie swears that he won't poke and prod at him in all the right places that'll get Captain riled up he SWEARS on his life he won't lean in and kiss the base of Captains wings just to see how he reacts HE SWEARS HE SWEARS HE CAN BE TRUSTED TO PREEN CAPTAINS WINGS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GOD FUCK-

Definitely a short-haired one, I think he'd have tabby patterns on his tail :3 Honestly Bishop would probably be something else entirely but godamnit my brain has been thinking of animal hybrid au for the crew SOLELY because of the catboy Bishop and dogboy Lucky comment I made a while back.... I need to stay faithful to MYSELF

Lucky took a while for me to pick, at first I wanted him to be a golden retriever specifically I wanted him to have floppy ears. Then I remembered lucky isn't blonde, so I considered him being a German Shephard instead, then a golden retriever/German Shephard mix breed, then a beagle, then a beagle/German Shephard mix, then I finally landed on Shiba inu solely because I wanted him to have a cute curly tail😊😊😊 maybe he can still be mixed with a German Shephard, no reason other than it feels right (for the fluff au at least)

I think it would be really easy to make Captain a wolf- which is why I'm NOT DOING THAT ACTUALLY‼️‼️‼️‼️ I like the thought of Captain being a hawk, specifically a ferruginous hawk cuz that's the largest species :3 (can you imagine how wide captains wingspan is going to be in order to support all of him?! He could never spread his wings while in any building- he would knock everything over! Im suprised he can even close his wings in the first place‼️‼️)

Wrench and Pink are kinda stumping me but hmmmmmmmmm

I don't know what to think of Captain 1.0 yet or the color trio, though Yellow seems vaugely dogish to me...... or maybe a moth? I could see yellow as a moth, have you seen those pretty Moths with the yellow bodies and pink legs? Gorgeous🩷💛

Hello, I'm probably the only person still on this train, but for some reason my brain glomped onto the captain from Lucky's old crew and wouldn't let go. I'm still in it for the long haul, I have also now become attached to Bishop as well, but I am curious: do you have future plans for the rookie Captain and Max? If not, it's understandable, but I remember you mentioning them returning at some point in the comments on the fic when Lucky first joined the experimental crew.

He likes to walk around in graveyards solely because he finds it fascinating how many dead bodies are all gathered in one area.

Pink and Wrench working together is so fun because yeah Wrench likes him but Pink is also a freak who knows way too much about human and animal anatomy and it Freaks him out

Looking at the March spawn ratings like my damn life depends on it

Brackens have a spawn rate of 20.92%, so the thing that killed the Thumper could potentially be a very large Bracken, but Brackens don't usually maul their Pray. So unless this Bracken was particularly pissed off at the thumper, it might be crossed off as the potential killer

The thumper could've also potentially been cannibalized! But why would the bigger Thumper take only the head and leave the rest of the body? Also how would it have left a gold ingot? I'll probably cross off another thumper as the killer

Ghost don't typically spawn on March, plus they target people with low sanity levels, and a Thumper is just a weird little animal, no sanity to lose. So, no ghost (I support ghost Robin brutalizing Thumpers though good for her)

Maybe a Coil-Head? They are known for somehow removing people's arms and heads, though the thumper doesn't have a coil in its neck so likely not. Unless the coil-head just decided to leave gold this time for whatever reason

Nutcrakers have a pretty low spawn rate but still higher than a Jester. Though, probably wouldn't remove a Thumpers whole head, unless it was just really mad and kept shooting the thumper until it's head was completely eviscerated, which is a funny visual (What did the Thumper ever do to you Nutcracker?😭)

There can only be 1 Jester in a facility at a time, so unless you intend to ignore spawn counts given the magic of fanfic, I don't think it was a Jester. Did you know vitiligo moves and spreads? I think it's really neat how much vitiligo just travels along a person at random.

Vitiligo also increases with stress I recently discovered! It can also just completely dissappear from a person though I think it can come back even if they lose it for a while!

I keep typing out full blow paragraphs and then losing my train of thought and deleting them because it's 3 am and I. Am tired. Anyways hiiiiii Morals I am once again having several thoughts :3

But anyways uhm I think Lucky should be allowed to get violent. Yeah I say he should be put onto the world's comfiest bed with so many blankets and pillows and stuffed animals, and then I also say he should fuck Bishop raw, but I also think Lucky has the right to start Biting and clawing at people for any reason at all I do not care if they have or havnt wronged him. I am giving Lucky a knife and a gun and I am setting him loose in a facility

Anyways I need to rate Lucky based on if he could or couldn't beat his crew mates in a fight:

Bishop, 7/10: Bishop does have the Height advantage on Lucky yes, I will not deny this. HOWEVER☝🏽 he is also a lanky lanky man. I think for the most part, Bishop would likely be able to overpower Lucky, but I think Lucky could take him down if he had a running start. Or he could kick him in the shin and then tackle him. I believe in you Lucky you can take this guy

Wrench, 8/10: Idk Wrench's body type really but he seems like someone who's just like. Incredibly average in both in Height and in physical strength, while Lucky is below average in both attributes. Because of this I do think Wrench would underestimate how much damage could potentially do. Wrench, being the dumbass that he is, would forget a very important rule to short people: They are much closer to hell than tall people and that makes them much feistier. Also Wrench is all bark and no bite from what I can tell so I think he'd potentially lose to Lucky anyways out of sheer cowardice. There's also the fact that Lucky is fast, so I think Lucky could just run laps around him until Wrench is tired and then knock him down. Yes I am still petty about Wrench leaving Lucky in the ship by himself and yes I would fight him myself and I would win

Rabbit, 3/10: Do NOT put his ass in a ring with Rabbit she is going to fucking kill him. At most she might think he's too pathetic to fight and that will be the one thing that saves him. Either that or Lucky climbs up a tree and opts to throw things at Rabbit from a safe distance until he somehow manages to knock her out or something. Lucky never fight Rabbit if you know what's good for you.

Captain, 0/10: No. He is going to grab Lucky by the back of his shirt like a feral cat and leave Lucky kicking and punching the air until he's too tired to move. Lucky's only advantage is that he's definitely faster than Captain but he would not be able to knock him down after making him tired like he could to Wrench. Lucky is NOT winning this fight but hey Captain probably wouldn't win either solely because I don't think he'd ever lay his hands on Lucky like that, or any of his crew for that matter.

Pink: I'm not 100% sure yet but my bets aren't on Lucky (I'm sorry Lucky ily I swear).

Would Lucky ever actually fight his crew? Probably not. Lucky strikes me more as someone who tries to avoid conflict at all cost. I wouldn't call him a soft boy really, cuz he's definitely has his moments where he has snarky internal dialog and small little moments where he says something sacastic (which I love so so much I love when Lucky has the vaugest hints of being snappy), but he's definitely someone who would like to keep outward agitation at a minimum

It's like, he would not outright call someone dumb to their face but he would definitely think about it for a little bit. Snarky internal dialog Lucky ily you aren't here often but I you are important to me🧡🧡🧡

But anyways Lucky should maim someone at least once as a treat🧡 shaking Lucky by the shoulders aren't you tired of being nice? Don't you wanna go apeshit Lucky? Why don't you kill why don't you bite why don't you tear Lucky go feral I believe in you muah

Disregarding the fact that Bishop probably wouldn't even want to fight, let alone harm Lucky unless absolutely necessary-- Bishop would definitely be able to overpower Lucky, but his height advantage can only help him so much before he's knocked off balance by this little guy 😌 (TACKLE TACKLE TACKLE)

Lucky would not be afraid to fight dirty when it comes down to it, the environment is no longer safe.

If Rabbit doesn't knock Lucky out in one shot she WILL make Lucky's life absolute hell for the duration of a fight. Once she sees how quick Lucky can prove himself to be, it's game on and Rabbit's not stopping until there's a winner.

REAL REAL REAL Captain wouldn't even have to fight Lucky, he can just disable him by picking him up 😭😭😭 If Lucky's gonna act like a feral stray then he's gonna get treated like one!! Captain would never lay a hand on his crew (this is Bishop's only saving grace) It's a draw if we're being real here,, 😌 but we all know Captain would destroy him without breaking a sweat if Lucky weren't part of his crew~

I re-read chapter 7 a lot because the crew interactions are so fun in that chapter and yet so bittersweet. I re-read Bishop's lines and like God he was so happy and chipper in the beginning!!!!!!! HE WAS A NERDY GUY WHO LIKED TO FUCK AROUND A LIL‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ FUCK‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ and now he's on edge and bitter and it makes me so AUUUUUGHHHH. BISHOP ILY IT'LL BE OKAY I PROMISE GAAAAAAAHAHHH
