I already know how the show ends, idk if I’m gonna bother finishing the show. The action is cool and all, but I really feel like the show lost the true heart of the show: its characters. Everyone feels like a hollowed shell of their characters. Did they even watch the source material?? I feel like all they did was read their lines without even watching the show.

Like I just can’t fully believe that these people are Sokka, Katara, Zuko, and Aang. They don’t act the same. Also- WHY THE HELL DID THEY NOT PUT SOKKA IN KYOSHI WARRIOR DRAG??? Anyway just going to probably rewatch the entire animated series.

Some plots and conventions only work in animated formats. The bending in live action feels too cheesy.

I really wanted to like the show, but two episodes in and I’m not impressed. It feels strange to have KYOSHI more fleshed out and well written than the main cast.

I just wish the actors at least maintained some of the diction that the animated ones do, I feel like this is ATLA but made by the CW. Everything is so needlessly gritty and dark now like what?!!
