Between Cass and Caine, who do you think is the better flirt?
My instinct is Cass.
Caine probably tries to be a flirt more often, but she'll initiate and than Cass will dominate.
"I could stare at you all day, you're so beautiful." Caine would whisper.
"You get drawn in by beauty? Then you best stay away from mirrors or you might get stuck," Cassandra would respond.
And then Caine would get all flustered and not be able to continue making Cass the champion as usual.
Caine never expects Cass to reciprocate but she always does XD
Caine is better at giving compliments than receiving them. Where Cass can both receive and reciprocate! :D

Sorry if this is obvious, but what's a blind gesture study? Know what a gesture study is but never heard them being blind? Awesome art btw!! (This is about your Instagram Story, I see you reblog you art from insta so I hope it's okay to ask about it here?)

I know how much of a gift the anonymous-ask feature is for introverts/shy people XD
Basically, if when you're doing a normal gesture study you have the photo you're studying there with you the entire time, you look at the reference, than at the draw... a blind study is when you look at the photo before you start, you study it, and then you put the photo away and draw without looking at it again.
They're great because they teach you to retain information, they teach you to better observe a photo as you're not going to remember EVERY line so you have to simplify and figure out what's important before you start drawing, and it also teaches you to improve as if you can't remember something you just gotta make it close enough XD
I hope that makes sense! They're very useful for once you've been doing gesture studies for a while and are wondering if you've actually learnt anything! :D

Do you think you'd ever write CassCaine outside of an AU? Like post series or canon-compliant but with Caine and the ship?
100% I would LOVE to do this! And have every intent to do it at some point!
Because even outside of an AU, Caine and Cass have the MASSIVE similarity where they both had a tragic childhood and that trauma lead them to hating the royal family and seeking out revenge.
I can see Caine and Cass getting into a fight post-series and Cass fully intends to just take care of this villain but then realises 'oh shit, it's me with the moonstone just less powerful and now I feel like I should help her'.
And ENEMIES TO LOVERS!!!
Although I will admit in my head, Caine does have a ship, but it isn't her semi-legal somewhat helpful insurance business from the AU where she's taking her first step away from a criminal life... it's a pirate ship, she is still deeply in the life of a criminal.
I even have a WIP drawing I keep meaning to finish of the villain phase (this is on a boat but can't find the messy sketch with the background):
Caine saves Cass from drowning and keeps her prisoner but does oddly choose to spare her life. Cass escapes and is going to hand Caine in once they hit land but ends up deciding against it before getting there in favour of being more Rapunzel in her redemptions.
Definitely on my to-do list!
I'll probably write it next time Cass and Caine end up separated against their will again and there's none of their cuteness in other fics XD
These two can't stay apart... shame they also can't seem to stick together XD

When do u think u will release ur fic No Matter What
I'm not sure, but probably not for a couple of months cause I have quite a few one-shots and short-fics I wanna upload first while that Sat slot is available!
I'm trying to pace myself by only uploading one chapter of a fic each day but that also leads to quite the accumulation of stuff waiting to publish!
I also have a few plot holes to figure out there, mostly what ZT's up to other than getting gradually more and more frustrated with Lance ignoring her orders/suggestions/attempts at manipulation XD

I just can't stop thinking about a one-shot where Cassandra, instead of meeting the ghost girl when she walks through the door of yesterday's House of Tomorrow, simply ended up in a different world, at Caine's house.
It would be like a very chaotic modern AU, imagine finding a woman in ancient armor just falling out of nowhere in your room XD
And they would become a couple until Cass found a way to return to her normal universe.
I usually have one shot ideas every night, oh how I wish I was blessed with writing
I'll send it as an ask because I'm too lazy to write anywhere else 😋
OKAY... I am in love with this AU and with your permission I really want to write some stuff for it XD
I did not open up my drawing program intending to do such a silly comic btw, I wanted to doodle Caine studying and getting interrupted by a portal, Cass pointing her sword at 'Lady Caine' who's just confused, Cass all 'you're a villain who wants to destroy the monarchy because they killed your dad!'
And Caine is like 'I mean... I do disagree with there being a monarchy, I mean it's 2024 for goodness sake! But they definitely didn't kill my dad. Look," hold up basket of goodies, "He sent me a care package earlier this week! I was on the phone with him this morning."
"What's a phone?"
And Cass in a hoodie feeling cozy and happy!
And Caine and Cass playing videogames!!!
And Cass making Caine go to fencing classes with her because it's the only way she can continue to use swords and it's honestly ridiculous how little of self-defence this modern Caine knows!!!
And Caine has a pet rat she keeps hidden in her dormitory so of course she'll help Cass hide an Owl? Plus, you know, hide a Cass XD
And then a portal opening and it's Rapunzel who finally found a way to get Cass back but Cass will never see Caine again and I'm not going to answer what happens next cause if you give me permission this will be a fic and the answer will be there XD

To discourage outright hate while also being comfortable to post here, you could turn off anon asks! That would eliminate most troller’s ignition into trying to rage bait you. I really think you have so much potential here but also understand why you want to stay on instagram :/
I've considered it!
But I do block all hateful anon-asks that come in, and I definitely get waaaaay more nice asks than I do hateful ones.
Lot of my readers on ao3 are anonymous and I guess they're more comfortable asking questions anonymously and rambling about my fics is probably one of my fave activities so I'd hate to lose that :D

How do you think baby Cass feels about Aunt Willow?
Oooooh, controversial opinion but I say that just like with Rapunzel, Willow is TOO MUCH for Cass at first.
Willow would be on one of her hyperactive speeches about adventures which usually won her over any child and Cass is just staring at her like 'try harder' XD
(I need to practice drawing children sooooo much XD)
