We've been quiet for a bit working on getting cases and picks out the door, upgrading the shop, and putting together a new product. This time of year is full of crazy discounts by many case companies, like "buy 3, get 4 free", which we don't do because we're actually making these ourselves with files, sandpaper, and endless endmills, and not just grabbing a box shipped from somewhere else and slapping a logo on it. We've been a longtime fan of Minnesotan artist @aaronhorkey and his intensely detailed pen and ink art. This illustration, called The Rook, was originally commissioned by our pal Matt @weight_one, who saw an engraved example we gave Aaron a number of years ago, and it stuck with him.
