Sun is quite strong and sunscreen is essential to carry around else skin burn is easy. Moreover, the weather is unpredictable; changes during the day from hot to chilly without notice. Therefore the dressing should be done in layers to counter the mix of heat & cold.

I stayed in Wellington which is home of winds and is called “Windy Wellington”. For me, the summers were like cold months of Gulf and I had to buy warmers and jackets to stay warm. Under the sun, it was too hot for my skin and I got skin burns at the exposed areas. However, my face and neck was saved by the sunscreen application, hat and sunglasses. Thus, the essential items to carry are sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and a rain jacket.

Better believe it! That is valid. It isn't permitted to acquire any food item specially in your hand baggage. While I was making a trip to New Zealand from Gulf ( far, without a doubt) I kept a sandwich and a pack of chocolate in my tote to burn-through in case my sugar gets low during the excursion. I had consumed them even prior to arriving at Sydney, dreading the exacting standards of the entering port of New Zealand. I utilized the washroom to tidy up my hand bag thoroughly, the primary thing after arriving at Wellington air terminal and strolled to the gear belt confidently. Sadly, I was trailed by the dogs sniffing me all over; finally an official contacted me and inquired as to whether I had any food item in my bag. I showed her my pack from inside and saw her grinning. I was informed that the smell of the sandwich remained in my pack that drove canines set following right after me. The canines were shooed off me then, which was a relief.

Ruru, called in Maori, are one of New Zealand's native birds of prey The morepork (Ruru) is known for the sound of its call, heard often at night time. It is also known as the boo-book in Norfolk Island. If you call out the three names together it will give the Ruru sound. Try it. :)
