“Scrappy”
Leather / Demon Hunter Transmog
Overview:
Ease of Obtaining: ★★★★☆
Minimum level to wear: 100
Class Restrictions: Demon Hunter
Faction Restrictions: Alliance, Horde
Item Run-Down:
Timeworn Shadowtooth Shoulderpads
Wolf Rider’s Padded Armor
Illidari Bracers
Prospector’s Mitts
Snow Lily Belt
Warbear Woolies
Warmongering Gladiator's Boots of Victory
Heavy Copper Longsword w/ Breath of Yu’lon
Tabard of the Argent Dawn
Behind The Set:
This is probably going to be my go-to DH transmog for a while. It’s a rather simple outfit with a bandage / leather vibe. I don’t use a helm, but instead one of the blindfold looks from the barber that matches the bracer and boots. I use a green weapon glow to tie into the green on the shoulder and keep it Demon Hunter-y.
One nice thing about this look is that you can swap out the tabard for almost anything and it still looks good. I’m using the Argent Dawn one for it’s rarity.

“Vampire”
Leather / Demon Hunter Transmog
Overview:
Ease of Obtaining: ★★★☆☆
Minimum level to wear: 100
Item Run-Down:
Adventurer’s Bandana
Netherrealm Shoulderpads
Blood Knight War Cloak
Wolffear Harness
Gordok’s Gloves
General’s Dragonhide Belt
Prospector’s Woolies
General’s Dragonhide Boots
Misery’s End (w/ Berserking)
Behind The Set:
Just a quick head’s up: I’m going to start trying a simple gear list where I just list the items used. Formating & creating links to all the items is a pain and the #1 reason I have not been posting more. If anyone has a better/easier way of doing this, let me know. Will try and go back to a better format soon!
Anyways...I’m back playing WoW thanks to Demon Hunter. This is my first set I’ve created for my new DH themed around vampirism. I’ve chosen to turn off my tattoos, but the harness shows them off well if that’s your thing!

“Monk of the Changing Leaves”
Leather / Monk Transmog
Overview:
Ease of Obtaining: ★★★☆☆
Minimum level to wear: 100
Item Run-Down:
Head / Raid
Red Crane Helm
Shoulder / PvP
Primal Gladiator’s Pauldrons
Hands / Quest
T'wansi's Handwraps
Waist / Quest
Red Belt of Gentle Persuasion
Legs / BoE
Wolf Rider's Leggings
Feet / BoE
Bard’s Boots
Weapon / BoE
Monk’s Staff (Illusion: Mending)
Tabard / Reputation
Tabard of the Wyrmrest Accord
Behind The Set:
This set is based around the changing color of leaves in the fall as it gradients from yellow to red. I started off with the helm/shoulder/tabard and filled in the rest to get that effect. The weapon glow adds to it a lot by constantly cascading showers of leaves. It looks WAY cooler in motion!

“Deathguard”
Leather / Monk Transmog
Overview:
Ease of Obtaining: ★★★★☆
Minimum level to wear: 100
Item Run-Down:
Head / PvP
Wild Gladiator’s Headcover
Shoulder / PvP
Wild Gladiator’s Spaulders
Chest / Quest
Vest of Welcome
Hands / Dungeon
Carpal Tunnelers
Waist / BoE
Timeworn Shadowtooth Belt
Legs / Dungeon
Kilt of Sewn Flesh
Weapon / Quest
Icier Barbed Spear
Behind The Set:
This set was made to really capture the idea of the Forsaken. I wanted it to be dark, creepy and a little brooding. I stuck to various tones of brown/black/grey (that more or less all match) and no weapon enchant to keep it uniform and simple.
Now don’t mind me as I roleplay walk through the streets of Brill for the next ten years...

“Paladin of The Scryers”
Plate / Paladin Transmog
Overview:
Ease of Obtaining: ★★★☆☆
Minimum level to wear: 100
Item Run-Down:
Shoulder / PvP
Primal Gladiator's Scaled Shoulders
Chest / PvP
Primal Gladiator's Scaled Chestpiece
Hands / PvP
Primal Gladiator's Scaled Gauntlets
Waist / Dungeon (Heroic)
Lion's Heart Girdle

Direwing Legguards
Feet / PvP
General's Plate Greaves
Weapon / Heirloom
The Blessed Hammer of Grace
Shield / BoE
Glorious Shield
Tabard / Reputation
Scryers Tabard
Behind The Set:
This transmog is an altered version of the Paladin “Primal Gladiator” set to match the Scryers Tabard. I changed out the legs, belt and waist to more color appropriate, slimmer profile pieces.
I’m not 100% set on the weapon and shield choice. I have a mix of about 10~ of each I’ve been swapping around. I went for these two because I wanted a very basic, Paladin-esc “hammer” and a slim/gold shield. Try other combos, too - there are a ton of good models out there to match!

Ease of Obtaining: ★★★☆☆
Minimum level to wear: 100
Item Run-Down:
Head / PvP
Primal Gladiator’s Plate Helmet
Shoulder / PvP
Primal Gladiator’s Shoulderplates
Chest / Quest
The Exarch’s Protector

Behind The Set:
This set was created around this beautiful (horde only) plumed plate helmet. There are quite a few out there, but none as detailed as this one. I matched it up with mostly Vanilla/TBC simple looking red/black pieces and some other PvP gear. There are many, many different weapons that look good with this set, but these are a few of my favs.

“Shieldmaiden”
Plate / Paladin Transmog
Overview:
Ease of Obtaining: ★★★★☆
Minimum level to wear: 90
Item Run-Down:
Shoulder / Crafted
Crafted Dreadful Gladiator’s Scaled Shoulders
Chest / Darkmoon Faire
Noblewoman’s Finery
Hands / Quest
Glass Lake Gloves
Legs / Darkmoon Faire
Noblewoman’s Skirt
Waist / Crafted
Crafted Dreadful Gladiator’s Clasp of Cruelty
Feet / Vendor
Sabatons of Rapid Recovery
Weapon / Quest
Joint-Severing Quickblade
Shield / BoE Green
Inscribed Buckler
Behind The Set:
This is my first Horde and first Paladin transmog on the blog! I’m very excited to bring you some new transmog from my newly leveled character.
This set is based around the Noblewoman’s cosmetic items from Darkmoon Faire. I thought they looked very “Norse Viking”-like, so I ran with the grey and brown tones and made this rather simple, but elegant transmog. It works great in Holy with all the yellowy flashy heals - especially with wings up!

“Angel of War”
Cloth / Priest Transmog
Overview:
Ease of Obtaining: ★★★☆☆
Minimum level to wear: 90
Item Run-Down:
Head / Reputation
Mooncloth Cowl
Shoulder / PvP
Prideful Gladitator’s Satin Mantle
Chest / Vendor
Robes of Embalmed Darkness
Hands / Reputation
Mooncloth Mitts
Waist / PvP
Prideful Gladiator’s Cord of Meditation
Feet / Crafted
Vicious Fireweave Boots
Weapon / Dungeon
Firestorm Greatstaff
Behind The Set:
I built this set around the matching priest pvp tier shoulder/belt. They have a beautiful, red proc that look like large wings (there is a similar blue pair I made a set around a while ago). Since I am usually in Red Chakra (I like to do some damage while I also heal) I thought this would be a perfect set to match that.

"Warlock Tinker"
Cloth / Warlock Transmog
Overview:
Ease of Obtaining: ★★★★☆
Minimum level to wear: 100
Item Run-Down:
Head / Crafted
Plasma Mechshades
Shoulder / BoE Blue
Darkcloth Shoulders
Chest / BoE Green
Silver-Thread Robe
Hands / BoE Green
Exiled Dabbler’s Gloves
Waist / BoE Green
High Councillor’s Sash
Feet / BoE Green
Astralaan Boots
Weapon / Quest
Pilfered Ethereal Blade
Off-Hand / BoE Blue
Bone-Inlaid Sarcophagus Key
Behind The Set:
This is a rather simple set I’ve put together based around the WoD engineering goggles. The purple tint in the eyes and the grey frames were quite easy to match with some various BoE vanilla gear.
Although most of this is BoE, some of it can be hard to get a hold of depending on your server’s AH. Just be patient! It will show up eventually.

Minimum level to wear: 90
Item Run-Down:
Shoulder / Quest
Head / Dungeon (Heroic)
Mage-Collar of the Firestorm
Shoulder / Dungeon (Heroic)
Mindrage Pauldrons
Chest / Dungeon (Heroic)

Flametongue Seal
Behind The Set:
This is my take on the Mage T1 “Arcanist” re-color. I’ve swapped out the off-pieces for a more simple look and matched it with a rare BoE sword - the fiery lightsaber! The set looks great in Destro spec with all your fire spells.

Note
Can you make an earthy kind of hunter transmog for a night elf please? Sorry if this bothered you.
No bother at all :)
I actually have an earthy-ish hunter mog I am working on for my own hunter! Unfortunately, it requires a couple more raid drops. It should be posted at some point, though, when I finish gathering the pieces.

"High Seas Assassin"
Leather / Rogue Transmog
Overview:
Ease of Obtaining: ★★★★☆
Minimum level to wear: 100
Item Run-Down:
Shoulder / Quest
After Hours Pauldrons
Chest / Garrison
Stormwind Chestguard
Hands / PvP
Brutal Gladiator’s Leather Gloves
Waist / PvP
Guardian’s Leather Belt
Legs / Garrison
Stormwind Leggings
Feet / PvP
Guardian’s Leather Boots
Weapon / BoE Green
Permafrost Dagger (w/ Illusion: River’s Song)
Tabard / Reputation
Wrynn’s Vanguard Tabard
Behind The Set:
I recently obtained the Ashran faction tabard so I decided to make a set around it. I wanted to stick to the same two shades of grey/blue for the entire thing (more-or-less) since the colors are so beautiful. This proved a little difficult, as there are not too many choices.
I have hidden the helmet for this set since I don’t like many of the choices, but the Brutal Gladiator set helmet is a decent option if you want to hide your face.

"Royal Frost Mage"
Cloth / Mage Transmog
Overview:
Ease of Obtaining: ★★☆☆☆
Minimum level to wear: 100
Item Run-Down:
Head / Raid
Collar of the Aldor
Shoulder / Raid
Slaughterhouse Spaulders
Chest / Vendor
Musk Rose Robes
Hands / Reputation
Sterile Flesh-Handling Gloves
Waist / Vendor
Plush Sash of Guzbah
Feet / Quest
Gnomeish Inventor Boots
Weapon / Dungeon
Hydrocane
Behind The Set:
Since obtaining these unique looking shoulders, I’ve been trying to make a set around them. It was difficult when I tried to use a lot more blue tones, but surprisingly I found a lot of gold/white gear that matched it nicely. The small bit of blue on the waist and in the weapon helps tie it back to the Frost Mage theme.

"Dark Seer"
Mail / Shaman Transmog
Overview:
Ease of Obtaining: ★★★★☆
Minimum level to wear: 100
Item Run-Down:
Head / Quest
Dark Shaman’s Cover
Shoulder / Dungeon
Beast Lord Mantle
Chest / Dungeon
Beast Lord Cuirass
Hands / Dungeon
Beast Lord Handguards
Waist / BoE Epic
Cloudcaller’s Linked Belt
Legs / Rare Mob Drop
Rattlekilt
Weapon / BoE Green
Staunch Hammer
Weapon / BoE Green
Fel-Iron Shield
Behind The Set:
This set is based around the Rattlekilt legs. They are a beautiful, unique looking model new to WoD, but they share a very similar design to the old BC “Beast Lord” set. To give it a little more shaman-edge, I replaced the helm and added a shaman-y looking shield. The dark colors and metal chain look make it feel quite evil in a way while also still being very much a shaman look.
The weapon is basically a free-for-all. I chose this very low level, simple gavel look because it matches the color of the shield and gives the set a little shine.

"Ashran Guard"
Leather / Rogue Transmog
Overview:
Ease of Obtaining: ★★★☆☆
Minimum level to wear: 100
Item Run-Down:
Head / Crafted
Journeying Helm
Shoulder / Raid (25M)
Mantle of the Eternal Sentinel
Chest / Crafted
Journeying Robes
Hands / Raid (25M)
Gloves of Peaceful Death
Waist / BoE Green
Mosshide Waistband
Feet / Quest
Spymistress’ Boots
Weapon / Quest
Blade of Diligence
Behind The Set:
Another Ashran inspired set. I really love the earthy tones of everything in Stormshield/Ashran and it fits perfectly with a lot of WOTLK and Cata leather. This isn’t a terribly hard to put together set, but it may take you a few weeks to get the Naxx 25 pieces if your luck is bad.
A *lot* of different weapons look good with this set. I chose these swords because I liked the sheer size of them, but feel free to go with something smaller and simple.
