Day 4. The Fog

I know there isn't any characters present here, but my idea was to give a little light to the SCP foundation. Usually I see people describing the foundation as just faceless military soldiers sent to hunt down the pastas, so I thought giving a little highlight on what those soldiers could have gone through individually would be interesting.

An old veteran recounting one failed mission he attended a long time ago where all his crew died at the hands of the thing in the forest.

Tbh this kind of inspired me to include the foundation, I like the message of ptsd and dehumanization of soldiers and I'm already planning an OC that dives into those themes so why not put those two together

Day 3. Silence

So today's silly of the day is The Rake!!

I had planned from the start that for this prompt I wanted some theme of an "interrupted silence". As in you try to escape as stealthy as you can but you end up making noise and getting caught anyway.

The hard part of this was choosing the character. Boy did I have a hard time with it. But at the end I chose The Rake, and lucky for you I have stuff to say about him.

So for my AU I want to go for a more "traditional" take with him using cryptids and local leyends like Moth Man or The Sasquatch. With people that claimed they've seen him, groups trying to hunt him down and a whole Subreddit dedicated to his sightings.

The Rake is known as this humanoid monster that roams the Appalachian Mountains and is the cause of many disappearances of people and animals alike. His origins are unknown even for beings like Slenderman. People theorize that he's a man that has gone for so long without civilization that became a savage creature, he's a demon or an evil spirit, he was a human experiment.

So this is the third piece of Creeptober, like I said I had a hard time deciding the protagonist of today and so I also had a hard time with the rest of the process. When I thought I was finished with the colors I noticed that the background felt too empty and didn't know what to do about it, so I ended up just doing some random shapes so it looked like The Rake is hiding behind some bushes or something(? Idk

Nothing that would really explain his existence, like all the other supernatural leyends that infest the famous mountains. Which are also a Rabbit Hole I'd like to dive deeper in my AU, but maybe another day

I do like how the other characters look like in the first two frames which by the way-

fun fact: those two are some old creepypasta OCs I want to revamp and reintroduce sometime soon!

Day 2. Cracks

Very silly comic for the 2nd day, but in my defense I had planned something more elaborate that couldn't fit in a square canvas.

Obviously by "Cracks" I can just think of somebody's mask getting cracked somehow, and I scuttled through my mind deciding which masked babygirl I'll choose and went for Eyeless Jack bc I really didn't feel like drawing anything more elaborate than that guy. I was going to do a comic about someone kicking EJ to try to escape, but it took me too long to figure out a good pose and frames that would fit the whole thing so I had to improvise..

Ayways yeah- I don't really have much to say about EJ right here, in the first day I made a piece that settled an interesting scene between Tim and Brian where I felt inspired to write the context of their situation, but this is just EJ being hit by a brick. Not really lore worthy, but really funny.

I know I should have said something earlier about why I missed the 2nd day of Creeptober, but I forgot. So here's a quick explanation

Here in Mexico on October 2nd we conmemorate the anniversary of the "Massacre of Tlatelolco". A historical event that took place in 1968 during a protest built up by students that was quickly and violently taken down by the government, killing hundreds of people and injuring thousands.

The event made impact on the rest of the country, with many people who have either lived it or not refusing to forget or forgive the corruption of the government that was present back then and still is to this day. People post about it, march and protest outside or take a minute of silence to mourn the lives that were lost that day. As you can see, I did the latter. The Massacre of Tlatelolco is one of many examples that represent centuries and centuries of oppression and corruption from our government, and while not everyone will conmemorate it's 55th and many more anniversaries the people still will never forget and forgive that day.

It's probably not that important if I missed one day of Creeptober but I still wanted to take the opportunity to spread awareness of this important event from Mexico.

My grandfather was present that same day, and while thankfully he didn't die or got injured, my mom and aunt would always tell me that every time they'd ask him about it he would kind of shut down and cry. He eventually died when I was a toddler so we didn't have a chance to build a significant bond, but it gets me thinking how I was related and was able to interact with someone who straight up lived through that experience and what impact it must've left him.

I'll soon post day 2 and 3 of Creeptober now that I could share this with you

Day 1. Cold Breakfast

Ssssssuuuuper late, but I didn't miss it so it counts

My first idea was EJ eating some fresh organs from a cold dead body, but I figured it was too predictable so I switched it up to Tim and Brian eating some cold Hot Pockets 👍

I like it bc I have an excuse to babble about these two in my AU

Disclaimer: I want to keep most of the MH lore intact, but I can't promise I'll be very exact on the events that happen since I don't know much about the series other than what I learn from YouTube video essays.

So here, they're not Slenderman's proxies but they have an interesting relationship with him, especially Tim. From what I understand Tim has cought Slenderman's attention since he was very young and has been following him close for a very long time, I like to interpret this as Slenderman becoming fixiated on him and growing desesperate to have him as one of his most loyal followers.

Hoodie survives de events of MH and joins Tim on his journey to I-don't-know-where. They now engage in a never ending roadtrip trying to escape from The Operater and his Proxies (and also hiding from the cops). And while they're at it they do their best to investigate about this damn demon and see how they can escape him for good.

They don't have any meaningful relationships with the rest of the characters, they actually don't know anybody else besides their chasers. At most they would know about certain killers from around the country, but that's it. Not even other supernatural entities like LJ or Slender's brothers.

All they know so far is that they have no one else to rely on but each other.

So we're starting rocky with this piece. I had lots of crisis working on this because I haven't done anything this finished in a very- very long time. I wouldn't call it the greatest piece I've made but I'm still proud of it, like I said- it's been a while since I have done a full piece with shadows and lights and backgrounds and everything, so it's nice to see that I could do it in a day.

I might have to tone the effort down for the rest of the month so I don't burn out too soon. I'm so excited to see what I do tomorrow!!!

Alright everyone I'm here to sort of update y'all on what anonymous said here

I'm gonna be brief bc this is like a small thing and I already stated that I won't be talking about Sanity anymore so let's be quick

I talked to Hawks about it and she told me she did had a little hassle with Sanity and a couple of his friends over some accusations that she did about him and her support for Mystic by sharing the famous document.

Sanity accused her of lying and "spreading misinformation" (claiming that the document was false) and many of his friends joined in harassing her until she gave in and made an apology that she then deleted bc she didn't really care about Sanity and what he had to say anymore.

She's said that she doesn't want to hear or know anything from Sanity anymore as she's now focusing on her own stuff and the art thief she's been dealing with for a while and she seems to be doing fine.

Right now there's nothing much to do since it seems like the situation has been resolved and died down. It's been some time anyways (I've been very inactive) so there's really no need to bring it back, especially since Hawks is doing fine now, so I just ask you to leave it like that.

Like I said this is just and update and this post doesn't have any intentions other than doing a quick recap of what anon said. I'm not here to start any sort of drama and I absolutely do not encourage harassment to either Hawks or Sanity.

Now

I made this post just to settle down on what happened to Hawks, but I really mean it when I tell you guys that I won't be covering anything about Sanity anymore. The situation with Mystic has been left behind and out of respect for her and the other people affected who just want to move on I won't talk or bring back the whole thing again, I ask you to please do the same.

I still encourage you to get informed on what happened and who Sanity is, so once again I'm sharing the document here

And with that out of the way, I also ask you to support Hawks on her situation with this art thief. She made a document about the whole problem here

Something has brought me here again-

Idk I think it may have been like the new remaster to the slender game or smth,but like yeah :3

So I drew Splendorman bc I really like him-

And ig slenderman BUT I HAD NO CLUE ON WHAT TO DO WITH HIM,I'll figure it out sometime and some point.

Yes his top part is just a dark grey rather than a consistent black,this was like early in the summer when I drew this.And,still kinda figuring out how I wanted to draw him exactly.

I still really like his pants however so I might keep it??

The other character is my own oc that was a remake of an old oc that I've also now given a remake because.

This was her old design,it was a remake of an older design but AH-
