Here are some townies for build-a-sim! I’ve never been that good at making sims that look like real people but I tried my best! Children age up very strangely in this game so I had to fiddle a little with their faces to make them look okay as adults.
The sims come without CC. I’ve also taken pics of what they look like with the defaults I have, so. Ye.

Finished La Mesa. The lot was lagging when I had the graphics settings up to take the pic so it’s probably not gonna be very fun to take sims to. I’ll just enjoy it from afar I guess.

It suddenly dawned on me that I don’t have a single restaurant in Belladonna Cove so I spent the last two days building exteriors and getting bored immediately. Then I saw photos of the Masa bakery from Bogotá and my immediate thought was “the Alpine window set!” Masa actually means table in Turkish so I named this the Spanish word for table. Isn’t that neat?
I want more neon lamp cc!! The circular lamps next to the bar are literally the letter O from Atavera’s alphabet. 😅

This one was slow to start but I’m pretty chuffed about the result.
3x1 home business around §47K. I don’t know what number it’ll end up being in the final hood but it’s one of the highway shops. I had to use the magic wand from MATY to make the lot even somewhat affordable. 😅 The mod makes the total price of a lot cheaper by depreciating all the objects in it. Makes sense for the plot too since this is a thrift store.

New arrivals to Belladonna Cove. I call em the Thrift Twins but they’re just regular sisters. Meet Gia & Sol Ducreux
Gia’s vest glitched and disappeared at some point. She never took a shower or changed clothes so no idea what happened there. I switched it with another vest and yes you can still tell she’s a lesbian don’t worry
They’re both popularity sims but Sol has like 3 nice points so I used the water balloon trick to keep them from fighting. Also Sol hooked up with Carlos Contender on her first day and yeah I get it but please. Stop. I beg of u. He’s already in love with 5 different women and it gets exhausting just keeping up.
Oh and Kali was in the welcome wagon and they both dislike her. The disrespect. THE GALL

So I’m making a little home business for build-a-hood. Wanted to make the house fairly small to begin with & also easy to make bigger by building on top of the thrift store. I hate the wall selection the game has. Very little neutral options and nothing goes with each other outside of the sets.
I didn’t decorate it yet except for this single mannequin. All quirky and stuff. I’m gonna do a little holiday themed... Hold on is the mannequin staring at me? Bruh. Anyway. ...a little holiday corner and put all the related items there. I like themed areas in thrift stores. Dude the eyeless little shit is giving me the creeps. Maybe I should just delete it.
Why does it feel like it’s gonna be angry if I try to delete it? Man all those hours spent playing Inside the Red Room Beyond the Darkened Hallway of the Creepy Abandoned Haunted Asylum Atop the Unforgiving Mountain Surrounded by Impenetrable Fog After You’ve Been in a Car Crash on an Empty Road really got to me. I’m seeing creepiness where the isn’t any.
