PSA; RULES UPDATE!

Hey folks, it’s that time. My rules page has undergone some changes, so please give it a read! Yes, even if you’ve read it before, or think you’ve read it before. There’s some important stuff that I’ve changed this time around.

Additionally, I’ve updated the rules page on @peri-2f5l-5xg so if you’re an IC blog, please check that too! (Yes, that’s my IC sideblog, and yes that’s the one you IC blog folks should be following instead of this blog; you won’t see anything here!)

Next order of business; I’ve recently put together an IC blog for the Lapis from that timeline as well over at @lots-of-probs-bob, so there’s that to check out, too. It might be a bit yet before I kick myself into gear and get her active, mind you; there’s a few things to work out on an IC level before she’d have a blog of her own. In the meantime tho, I have all the info available + the inbox is open. I’ll get to any asks including any left on Peridot oops soon!

Final note; I’m absolutely open to doing f2f threads on the IC blogs as well or on Discord. tbh I don’t do them nearly enough, so I’d be glad to write any of my dorks interacting. Yes, that includes Moth, Fable, and the rest of the horde of muses that I collect incessantly. Additionally, I do have a discord roleplay server of my own affiliated with my crossover group; unaffiliated folks are plenty welcome as well though! It’s a hangout, IC chat, and bundle of f2f channels all mashed together into a chaotic mess. Feel free to yell at me for either of those!

I think all writers need a friend who will encourage their desire to write absolute garbage. Not necessarily something that is badly written, but like, stupid self indulgent bullshit. “Cringey” aus or crossover fanfics. Aus or crossover fics of your own ocs.

Writing that stuff is fun and is great practice, but sometimes I feel like “wow, this is hardly productive, why am I even writing this, who else would ever want to read this?” The answer is your friend who encourages your trash writing, that’s who. Write it for yourself and for them.

CAN YOU HAND ME THAT LEVERAGE OPTIMIZER?

Hey folks, Timey here with an IC blog for an AU and canon divergent Peridot from Steven Universe! In this timeline, an unknown form of “corruption” afflicted the Cluster, which in turn has caused utter devastation across the planet. Gems have been mutated by a process known as Refraction, the earth almost exploded, Steven is a whole lot angstier– and spikier– than usual, most of the Crystal Gems are recovering from varying afflictions, and Peridot is one very stressed little slice of pie with the weight of an entire planet on her shoulders. Cleanup is hard and times are tense, but hey.

At least the world is saved, sort of. Don’t mind the volcanic fissures and occasional Lapis-related windstorm; it’s a work in progress, and she’s got it under control… Mostly.

In the meantime, she’ll pass some hours online trying to boost morale and maybe cheer up someone else, too. Also her lab’s locked after working for 72 hours straight, so hey, it’s not like she has anything better to do. Time for internet discourse and seeing how much of a dork she can be to an even wider audience!

OOC; blog updates

So! Might as well give an update on what’s up, since i haven’t popped onto here in quite a while-- and a number of my old blogs have been gathering dust for quite some time, too.

I won’t be deleting any, but there’s a number I’m going to effectively be archiving; either from lack of muse, lack of continuity, or just having way too much on my plate. Instead I’ll be putting my focus onto just a handful of them that I have more inspiration for.

I’ll list the blogs I’m keeping down below; if it’s not listed, feel free to assume that I probably won’t be returning to it. I’ll order them by activity level too. Some newer ones are WIPs, so I’ll place those as ??? for now. Those marked as inactive I don’t have muse for currently, but hope to return to at some point.

I plan to go through and rework this hub a bit too, though this blog is just a holding place for sideblogs anyways so that is less pressing.

Quick reminder! If I followed you recently from this blog, there’s a 99% chance it’s due to my Kris Dreemurr roleplay sideblog! I honestly barely even roleplay on this blog, it’s just random clutter. I can’t follow back from Kris since, well, it’s a sideblog, so I have to follow from here. Okay? Okay.

I do have some other roleplay blogs listed on my sideblogs tab, but aside from Kris they’re on hiatus for now. Feel free to yell at me if any sound interesting though; I am looking to revive some of them in the future, and that could help me choose which ones to prioritize. Also, Erwick has an Undertale AU I’ve gotten to use like once. Just throwing it out there.

PSA: HIATUS/INACTIVITY NOTICE

I’m just going to put it out there; I’m sure everybody and their cousin has noticed by now that I haven’t been on here much. I’ve been checking every day, but... Haven’t really been answering anything. The truth is, I just don’t have a whole lot of inspiration for most of my muses anymore. I write them on Discord or Skype mostly, so if you want either of those, feel free to IM or send an ask. I’ll still roleplay there, where the pressure to perform is a bit lower. You just have to yell at me, because otherwise I’ll have literally no idea if you roleplay on Discord/Skype or not, and it’d be weird for me to just... Hand a starter without knowing. Y’know?

Second, there’s the group I’ve been working on, Legacy of the Heroes’ Guild. We have an event going on right now, so we’ve been working with that as of late. Feel free to message me or send an ask there if you want to know more about the group, or if you’d like a link to the group Discord; you don’t have to be a member to drop in and check it out, and we always welcome curious people. We’re still in the early stages, but I’m glad to say we’ve come a long way since the opening. We now have quests, shops, events, IC chats and para-rp chats... You get the idea. It’s fully functional, at the very least.

Anyway, I’m just going to put all my blogs on a hiatus/low activity warning for the time being. I might still do some group-related stuff on them from time to time, but between being very busy IRL and doing the group, I just really haven’t been able to do as much with these blogs as I’d like.

Thanks to anyone who stuck around, and sorry to leave it all hanging like this. I have no idea when I’ll return for real, though hopefully it’ll be sooner rather than later.

PSA: Thread Tracker Initiated!

Alright, with Tumblr’s notifications on the fritz, I’ve decided to do a thread tracker, too. Which has been a long time coming anyways since... I lose things too much. RIP. Anyway, I’ve already listed several threads that I intend to continue on it, so feel free to check that out here.

If there’s a thread we have that you don’t see there and want to continue, just give me a prod and I’ll go ahead and add it. Also note that this is a list of all my threads across all my blogs; I may add blog name tags to them if they get too hard to differentiate. Most are pretty self-explanatory, though... I think.

On another note, applications are now officially open in my upcoming crossover roleplay group, Legacy of the Heroes’ Guild! As such, I will be spending some more time over there with last-minute finishing touches, making apps for muses of my own, reading through submissions, and otherwise managing things. If you’re curious, feel free to check it out; we’re going to be starting a Test Drive soon and have a Discord server you can join, too!
