Real talk for a moment folks. 12 years. Since I started drawing seriously 12 years ago, I wanted a space in in my house that I could reserve just for drawing. Not my desk next to my bed. Not my kitchen table. My own room, just for art. I wanted a good trestle table to draw on and just enough space to work to force me to keep things tidy. For 12 years, that was a financial pipe dream. It was never going to happen. Today, I put in the last screw on my IKEA trestle table set, and tomorrow I look forward to some drawing in my new sketchbook.
