A Letter to Nakieshia.
Hey Girl,
I just wanted to take a moment to drop some knowledge in your search to find peace and understanding. Since you were a young girl you went to church, you were raised in the church and around the Word of God, but there will come a time when you finally decide you want to know more about Jesus and you might want to follow him for yourself.  Well, before you begin your journey down this path called ‘Christianity,’ I must warn you. As you begin this journey into understanding yourself there is a battle that MUST take place and will take place. There is blood, tears, and heartache you must and WILL experience to reap ‘your reward.’ By no means will this be an easy journey and in all honesty, you will literally hate every step of it at some point. However, be encouraged because when you start feeling that way, that means your breakthrough is knocking at your door. You're at the finish line, and your reward from your Father is about to enter into your life.
There is no easy way for me to describe what you will experience if you chose to take this journey with Jesus, there is no guarantee you will receive everything you think you should or even desire, but there is a guarantee that you will change. Whether you change for the good or the worst it will all be upon you! You are the manifestation of your destiny. No one else! You will be judged by the way you walk, talk, listen, your approach to criticism, your confidence in your authority, and your understanding of self. You being REAL with you will determine the level to which God can access you. Be as honest and raw as you can. You must look deep, get deep and experience every part of you like you have never experienced before. Please be prepared to cry so hard and so much you will hate tears. You will go through a cycle of pure hatred, hatred of self, people, things, life and even the giver of life. But rest assured these are all good things as long as you do not stay in that season. As long as you know upon stepping into that season, you agree to leave. When you are approached by a storm, when you feel the depression, anger, or hatred coming from the bottom of your stomach, accept it, embrace it, take the ride, but before you fasten your seat belt make sure you tell yourself this will not define your destiny. Make an excuse if you must like 'this is only for fun,' and in your spirit repeat, 'I will come off of this ride in Jesus name. Amen.' Anger, hatred, depression these are mighty forces that can bring us into situations and bring people into our lives that ought not to be there! It will consume you; it will feel good at times! There's no feeling like sin. Walking hand and hand with sin, letting it rub you, kiss you, touch you, guide you, be your friend. Sin taste good! Until we look in the mirror and see the repercussions; fat, wrinkles, lack of energy, feelings of disgust, drained, weary, hopeless and angry. Not feeling like yourself, constantly repeating ‘I am missing something! Something is missing.’ Oh, you can try to avoid the Call of God and tell yourself, 'let me work harder on my appearance, let me buy more beautiful things, let me exercise and eat healthier, let me do what Instagram says I should do', but you can not run from Jesus once you have accepted him. You will fight yourself on such a level you will cry out to God to pop your hip. The power of the mind is not something you should take lightly. But I will warn you right here if everything above was not enough to scare you away, once you begin you CAN NOT quit! You must see it to the end, endure the pain, endure the tears and heartache, endure the long nights, endure the waiting for when the Lord releases your deliverance it will ALL make sense.
I can't promise you roses and butterflies; I can not even sugar coat the battle heading your way. However,  what I can send you is the words of your Father, feast upon his words daily, seek his presences daily, and you will see the change that motivated you to begin this journey in the first place.
“May the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge, reward you fully for what you have done.” Ruth 2:12
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” Galatians 6:9
“35 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.36 But as I told you, you have seen me, and still, you do not believe. 37 All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. 38 For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. 39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. 40 For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.” John 6: 35-40
Sincerely, Joy

Spiritual mother’s The love of a mother can heal wounds, help you forget the old pain and provide a path to a new season. The love of a mother can open doors and set you up for a life full of blessings if you allow her to lead you. I pray that every person in need of a mother and her love receive the love of Jesus on today and through his love a spiritual mother will be released unto you. In Jesus name. Amen. Take a moment and go read Ruth but I want you to pay attention to the role Naomi plays in preparing Ruth for her destiny. Naomi had every right to disrespect and hate her daughter in laws but it says she accepted them. Remember these young ladies we're considered ”impure” in Jewish standards. There could have easily been tension among Naomi and her daughters-in-law but she chose to accept them and out of her love for them Ruth became the wife of Boaz and blessed her more than her two previous sons. Naomi's acceptance of Ruth was her Yes to allow God’s Will into her life.
