After chatting with several people on Google's support team we did confirm that everything is gone and purged from their servers. There is no timestamp on when or how it happened.
So now I basically have to start fresh
So I went to update MIDY today and....
All of my writing files over the past 8 years are gone from my google drive. I can't find anything in trash or archived or anything. Everything is just gone.
All fanfic stories, scenarios, blurbs, headcanons, writing challenges are just gone. This does not feel real. What in the world.

Requests stay open 24/7 365. If you ever make a request and see it hasn't been answered in a hot minute resend it. For whatever reason Tumblr no longer sends me emails when I get asks so I have to go scrolling through my ask box to see anything sent to me.
It really sucks because now I get the thing where my inbox deletes stuff and I never see anything.

Note: #1 Sorry! It took me FOREVER to get my butt back into the Naruto fandom where I’m actively thinking about it, reading essays or fics about the Naruto-verse, and anything else under the sun.
#2 I haven’t read Boruto yet, so this will be Naruto Orochimaru but I will try to keep it sorta vague to be read either way. Does that make sense? I don’t know his personality in Boruto so I’m going purely on looks and he looks 🎇soft🎇-ish to me
Big and little spoon but typically big spoon. He likes to have an arm, hand, or leg on his partner when they cuddle or go to sleep. He kinda curls around them like a snake LOL. His legs on top of their legs or intertwined at the same time. His head laying above theirs on the pillow and his hair freaking EVERYWHERE. Long hair = you’re going to eat it at some point. My fiance has looong hair and speaking from personal experience it’s bound to happen. OR it acts as a mini blanket because your ears are constantly cold af!!
Speaking of hair! Let him stroke your head if you’re comfortable with it. It’s a huge sign that you trust him and he will eventually allow the gesture to be returned.
100% a quiet talker. I can see him being just a liiittle chatty talking about his day or listening to his partner talk about their day. He enjoys listening to their voice. It makes him calm down after a trying day or after handling unruly subordinates.
I don’t know why but I can see him as a cheek pincher? Not in a malicious way, he just likes to pinch their cheek or boop their nose as confirmation that they are there. They chose to be with him. They chose to cuddle with him in bed/on a couch. They chose to show him, a questionable individual, as much affection and love as they can every single day. Sometimes it totally baffles him, while other times it makes him feel truly content with his life.
Probably doesn't rub his feet together? But will move his legs back and forth like a cricket. ESPECIALLY if either of them shave their legs for whatever reason.
No one on this site can convince me Orochimaru wouldn't go full Cricket Mode if he or his partner shaved their legs.
Oh wait oh man oh boy his hands are aaaalllll over them when cuddling. Like I said earlier it helps him really grasp that they are there. But alsoooo affectionate touching wasn't/isn't common for him and he eats that shit UP. Those little squeezes some people do while cuddling? Does it. Full body shift as if he can press his body closer to them? Does it. It gets really amped up if they have been together for some years and they either a) get married or b) state they don't ever want to leave and express a lifelong commitment to him. Loyalty given to him is his love language, and you can't tell me otherwise.

Hello! This isn't a request just my curiosity honestly. What fandoms have you read fanfictions of? Anything is game whether x reader or character x character or a fun what if fic. I'm just curious what all fandoms you've dabbled in and which one is the longest you've read fanfics in? Thanks!!
The longest I've read fanfiction in is Naruto. I've read Naruto fics since Quotev was Quizazz, GoToQuiz was popular, and Quizilla was still around.
These are in no particular order and only how they pop up in my memory because there's a LOT. There's also a lot of anime in here, you've been warned.
Naruto (manga/anime), Bleach (manga/anime), Hetalia (anime), Lord of the Rings (including the books/movies and Silmarillion), Wolf's Rain (anime), JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (anime), Transformers (comics/movies/tv shows), My Hero Academia (anime), Castlevania (anime none of the games), DC Universe (and a ton of the other movies/shows but none of the live actions), Stardew Valley (it's a good game please don't judge), Legend of Zelda (also a good game), Pushing Daisies, Five Night's at Freddy's (also a good game), Pet Shop of Horrors (manga/anime), Harry Potter (movies and half the books), Ghibli Films, Megamind, ATLA and Legend of Korra, Demon Slayer, a sprinkle of JuJutsu Kaisen, X-Men, Legion (2010), almost all of the Predator movies (this was real recent since I watched the other movies when Prey came out and holy moly are they good), Rango (love me some 'what happened after the end' fics), Star Trek (old but only for Data and new), Wolf Children (because that movie ripped my fucking heart out), and Loki (2021 series).

Have a completely random thought I had while I was sitting at work on friday
Imagine a soulmate au where you have a meter tattoo that moves and shows how much danger your soulmate is in. Add a layer to that where your soulmate is a Kage!
The meter never goes down completely, but it rarely goes all the way up. The Kage is always in danger due to assassins lurking about or people within their own council plotting to usurp them so it just can't go down. The soulmate of the Kage is worried almost all the time, like a nagging feeling in the back of their head. They subconsciously check on the meter throughout the day, making sure their soulmate isn't knocking at death's door.
On the flip side of this, the Kage is always so so happy their soulmate's meter stays relatively low. They assume their soulmate is either in the middle of nowhere or in a peaceful village. They rarely see their meter go up, but when it does the Kage's heart starts racing. It's rare for people to figure out who is soulmates with who before they have even met but it's possible. So the Kage is always just a tiny bit worried that their life is in danger due to them being the soulmate of a Kage.
Much like their counterpart the Kage keeps a watchful eye on their mark. Making sure they aren't in a dire situation. The Kage knows they can't really do anything if they are in a dire situation since they have no idea who their soulmate is.
But of course, there are going to be rough days for both of them. The days when their meters are going up and down all the time. The days when the Kage's meter goes all the way up are the worst. They rarely happen but it puts the Kage's soulmate in a state of constant distress.
What if the soulmate's meter goes all the way up while they are visiting the Kage's village? The poor Kage is going freaking ballistic on the inside. They have no idea what the cause of it could be and they hope/pray they stay safe or get out of the situation.
The Kage is stressing all day. Constantly glancing at the meter hoping it would just go the fuck down, oh my god why won't it go down?!
All meters start off black but when soulmates find each other it changes colors. The meter portion is their soulmate's current favorite color while the bar surrounding it is their favorite color.
So, imagine how the Kage and the soulmate feels when they keep looking at the meter and it suddenly starts changing colors. They are both freaking out. On one hand they finally get to meet their soulmate! Yay!!
On the other hand...something is terribly wrong.

How would Minato react to his fem!partner preparing a spa day for him after work as headcanons? Something like food ready to eat, a bath with some good soap/bubbles/candles, his favorite book or tv show playing, a massage afterward, and literally the cuddliest weighted blanket for bed?
[I did this last weekend for my own partner and dude straight up turned into a human puddle. It was not easy dragging his 6' puddle body around to the next room since I'm only 5' 😆]

❥︎ working as the hokage was an extremely tiring job. i mean, taking care of the entire village was no simple ordeal and could cause a lot of (understandable) stress if not handled carefully and so you sympathised for your partner who’d come home late and exhausted.
❥︎ minato was definitely surprised when you greeted him at the door with a kiss and a cheeky grin. you worked quickly on removing the outer layer of his clothing so that he only remained in his shirt and trousers.
❥︎ i see minato as the type to follow whatever his partner does first and then ask questions later so he’d comply with your actions, confused on what the rush is all about when he you finally arrive at the bathroom and he’s greeted with the sight of a bubble bath prepared and candle lit around the bathroom.
❥︎ you’d leave him in the washroom to enjoy his relaxing time without your interrupting and prepare so food for him after handing him to read his favourite book while he soaks his body in the warm water.
❥︎ minato is literally already so touched by this and all you really did was prepare him a bath and play some tunes in the back.
❥︎ after heating up the food, and taking out the things you prepared that were placed in the fridge to keep them cool, you’d knock on the door to ask him if he’s done and he’s reply with a “yeah” after draining the tub and cladding himself in a soft, fluffy towel.
❥︎ “follow me, my dear.” a soft chuckle escapes his lips as you take his hand in yours and lead him to your shared bedroom where you have prepared for him his clothes that consist of a new set of pyjamas. he’s definitely confused on why you’ve done all of this but is only quite used to going along with your randomness. you’d tell him to change before coming to the kitchen.
❥︎ once he’s there, he’s surprised by how much of his favourite is placed on the dining table and he starts to feel a bit of nervousness creep into him as he begins to believe that he might’ve forgotten your anniversary but he was so sure that it was in a couple of months.
❥︎ obviously you got a little worried with the silence and thought he disliked it but he was quick to notice your expression and so he pecked your cheek, pulling you in by the waist to thank you. a smile would settle on your face and you’d pat his chest and tell him to hurry now before the food gets cold.
❥︎ minato would make sure to not leave the table unless he’s finished most of the food as a way of thanks and would absolutely insist on helping you with the dishes (you’d obviously say no but man’s the hokage and he takes his dishes seriously so to avoid jail you let him wipe them dry and put them away).
❥︎ once the two of you were done, you brushed your teeth and then sat minato on the bed as you pulled out a tray carrying all of your skincare products.
❥︎ needless to say, minato practically clear skin except for the little stubble growing on his face due to his busy hours in the office.
❥︎ minato enjoyed doing skincare with you, he would often do it whenever he was free. it was great time to ask you how your day was and have meaningless conversations as you’d engage in some gossip. (being hokage also meant that he has a shit ton of information on everyone so you’d pry the details out of him whenever you felt bored)
❥︎ he especially enjoyed it whenever you had masks on your faces and you’d have to wait for them to take effect so you’d like back in bed, with your head resting against his left arm as he uses his right one as a pillow for himself. the comfortable silence you’d sit with soft music playing in the back never failed to make him feel so relaxed and content with his lover by his side.
❥︎ after washing off your faces and applying all the creams and toners, he’s ready to get into bed (which i don’t blame him, after a long time of stressing followed by relaxing activities i’d be out in a second) he’s surprised when you force him to sit in front of you with his back to you.
❥︎ by now, the question is definitely at the top of minatos tongue but it fades along with the knots on his back, neck and shoulders as you begin needed the tensed muscles that formed over the constant peering at papers and the signing of them. you worked your way down to his muscled arms and waist before repeating the massage once more. you could tell you were doing a good job by the way he’d sigh and groan and soon enough his eyes were fluttering open with much effort.
❥︎ an endearing smile would work it’s way on your face and you resist the urge to squeeze him but you softly tap him awake and he gives you a tired smile and a forehead kiss before offering you a massage despite his worn out state.
❥︎ obviously, you’d softly flick his forehead and pull his down with you before you plop on top of him with a content smile on your face.
❥︎ “was today my birthday?” he asks out of genuine curiosity, he wasn’t one to care about his own birthday so it wouldn’t be odd for him to forget all about it.
❥︎ you notice his eyes are closed and so you verbally answer him with a no and enjoy the little frown between his brows “i decided to give you a treat since you work so hard for us, mr hokage.”
❥︎ with that, he forces his eyes open and you can see the sincere gratefulness on his face as he pulls you closer to him and gives you a meaningful kiss.
❥︎ “thank you, my love.” he’d say and you feel yourself heat up slightly, it was nice to feel appreciated especially when he was a man that held so much power and so you made sure to pamper him the same way he still does despite carrying much pressure on his shoulders.
❥︎ “no need to thank me, honey.” you place a soft kiss on his nose and giggle as he scrunches it slightly.
❥︎ “goodnight, my dear.”
❥︎ “goodnight, sweetheart.” with that, minato sleeps soundly with his favourite blanket draped atop of his.
