24 May 2021 | Hi, friends. Rather than mysteriously drifting off into the mist I thought it would be just as good to announce that I officially graduated with my Master of Theological Studies (MTS) this past weekend! Please enjoy this photo in which my husband matches the lilacs we decided to pose in front of. Now that my degree is finished, this blog will likely go rather quiet. Will I eventually get around to going for a PhD and share that journey on here? Only the Lord knows. For now, blessings to all of you still pursuing degrees and studying in the years ahead. the day is so lovely—she’s sunlit and she’s perfect—and i don’t know if it’s the dreamy light or the magic that is monday or the fact that i remembered to drink water for the first time in a week but i’m sitting at my desk absolutely thrilled to be organizing my day and sorting through data and diving into research

Making the final improvements on the penultimate essay of my degree.

herdrafts I’ve reached my reading goal already, I wouldn’t ever imagined I could read 40 books before December. Maybe because I’ve read many interesting books and read-along some others, anyway I still have more good ones for this autumn/winter so my reading challenge isn’t actually completed. I’ll post a complete list of titles later !

last days of winter break aesthetics: trying to read as much as possible, empty journal pages, coffees cooling down while you are reading, unmade beds, stressing about new semester, still being excited about going back to school ☕️

It’s been over a year since I’ve been in a beautiful library. Not taking it for granted ever again. I won’t have access to these spaces soon, and it kills me a whole year that I could have enjoyed them was taken. When cafe’s are open in doors again in England I will have finished my degree by that time, which breaks my heart because they are my favourite place to study, but I have this library.

12.04.21// the past couple days have been soggy and it’s making me miss England immensely. The sunny days have been so nice but I’m a rainy day girl at heart!

15.04.21// sunny day walks and sunny day study sessions ☕️ we’re so close to the end of this term! I am blessed to not have any exams this term, only papers! And only one more term and I’ve finished my degree! Masters degrees fly by, I can’t believe I’m 2/3 finished already.

08.04.21 • I ’ve been feeling so proud of myself and so capable lately. Since my dissertation presentation went beyond my expectations, I’ve been feeling like I can do literally anything I put hard work and effort into. It’s such a wonderful feeling since I’ve been struggling for a while now with uni and rough patches. ♡

there isn’t much happening atm but just me watching aesthetic study vlogs all day long. i’ve also managed to accomplish the following:

finished all my pending journal reviews

paid current month’s credit card bill

ordered new bed sheet with floral design

started reading another dostoyevsky story

i plan to save up enough money thru my part-time writing job so i can buy a new gadget that i’ve been eyeing on since i got addicted to watching study vlogs, haha!

Sunday!☁️ I woke up pretty early this morning at 6.50am. A quick breakfast and then I started my assignments. I wrote two history essays, a 2 pages essay about the media violence for media literacy and a 16 pages test for my elective English class.💼📑🏺

my brain is mush but i just did an entire week's worth of reading in a single day

now to take the weekend off

Monday morning after staying up until 4:00 am working on solving a problem with my dissertation. Lot’s of coffee, and feeling sophisticated but comfy. Also read the post-it note, you won’t be disappointed.
