idea : a shop that sells xenogender-affirming and/or otherkin-affirming perfumes and colognes. like a perfume that make you smell like a woodland fairy, or an old rusty contruct, or a moldy crypt, or even just a wolf. do you get my vision. if that exists already please send me a link. i feel like smell is such an underrated way of self-expression, like its so subtle yet impactful, you can basically associate yourself to anything of your liking in the mind of other people, and they probably will never think it was on purpose. also since in horror writing, smell is often used to demote that something is off with a usually supernatural character i feel like it could work wonders for nonhuman folks.

and on that note can people please be a little more mindful about the shit they say and do concerning stalking because it is wildly terrifying how people treat the subject sometimes

you have no idea how many times ive seen someone just openly admit to obsessively stalking someone they don't like and justifying it to themselves and nobody bats an eye. i cannot believe the amount of people- hell, people i've been close to even- just completely normalizing this extremely traumatizing experience and brushing it off..?

i can tell you as a victim of a very mild form of stalking that it was literally the worst experience of my life. what you think is just you looking on their page to like make fun of them occasionally is, on the victim's side, very often something that is so impossibly terrifying that it turns your entire world upside down and makes it so nowhere can ever be really safe again. years later i still live with the effects of what is, again, considered mild stalking.

check yourself. correct that behavior. just fucking grow up and leave them alone. even outside of whatever that person did to deserve it in your eyes, you're better off not obsessing over them anyways and not subjecting yourself to someone who consistently makes you angry enough to do that.

#my ex used to brag about stalking their other ex #and then they stalked me for years after we broke up #they always justify it by saying they're just trying to protect themselves or the other person is abusive/toxic/whatever #but that's still fucking STALKING #and as someone who's been stalked by multiple people them starting to stalk me caused me to develop severe paranoid anxiety #/about/ being stalked. i moved social media accounts like 6 times in 8 months because they kept finding me and then moved several more times #because i'd have a paranoid breakdown about them potentially finding me in the future #i had one of these meltdowns a couple months ago! i almost salted and burned this tumblr account because of my fear of them finding me again
