Ardua Hall Library
I was inspired by Ardua Hall, a building in Margaret Atwood’s The Testaments. It had a lot of documents and books and it was run by women only. There is a big statue in the novel, that’s why I put a big one as well (under the arches!). I like to think they turned the building into a Library once the dictatorship they lived in was over. Here you can have painting classes, outdoor poetry reading sessions, climb the stairs to grab a book, relax in the garden, play chess, read & check the most-read section with exclusive and autographed copies!
