Finally made it up to Mt. Wilson. Maybe the hardest day of cycling I've ever endured. 8200 ft of climbing and 92 miles had me close to E. Next time I decide to do a ride this big I'll completely recover from weight training and follow the original route

What yesterday’s race felt like. OC Brakeless’s “fixmas” started off well and ended in my crashing onto a sidewalk over a curb avoiding a pileup. I was hoping to gain more experience as it was my first crit. I felt strong and was easily able to gain positions and conserve energy on the big field. My Teammates did well with a 4th and 7th place finish and Chants even gaining corporate sponsorship. I’m happy for them, grateful everyone including myself is ok (ego aside) and have gained some confidence. Now for a steel bike and riser bars cus fun is why I ride bikes. Mostly.
