forgive me for getting a little bit controversial but it’s kind of concerning to me that people are ignoring Drake Bell’s own allegations and trials and misdeeds because of the Quiet On Set documentary. I am obviously aware that victims go onto hurt other victims. But that doesn’t mean you should make a martyr out of him whilst harassing other Nick stars into whatever weird narrative you’ve developed about them (think Josh Peck and Amanda Bynes). Forcing them into making statements because you’re desperate for some kind of entertainment. These are people’s real lives and experiences, they may not look the way we as the audience have no right to go speculating beyond what they give us. Especially when it could cause harm/feed into conspiracies.

To be quite honest it represents the very polarized way of thinking people have. It’s like only one thing can be true at a time and they act accordingly. This, matched with mass hysteria + mob culture leads to bad outcomes.

Something incredibly heartwarming about the fact that Wilbur Robinson messed up, couldn’t tell his family, in his panic to try and fix his mistake he went to the only person he knew who could help him…being his father in the past

Endo really sat at his chair for the new chapter and is like “ok I’ve got two ways to advance the plot for next chapter. A) have Anya compete for the attention of a boy she doesn’t even like due to her worry of not helping Loid and in turn her abandonment issues. B) have a chapter that starts to dig into the Garden and do character building on Yor” and went with the former. All I can do is laugh 🫡

Dropping a very special Sketch-a-wish, voted on by my lovely Patreon members for August! The winning request was to illustrate an off-page scene from The Folk of the Air series, when Cardan was writing his letters to Jude. I countered that Cardan went through the five stages of grief writing those letters, and each deserved it's own illustration.
