I guess not taking care of myself is finally catching up to me.

I feel sick, but not in the actual sick way. My stomach hurts a lot, my head is throbbing, and I feel like throwing up, but I don't have a fever or any other sickness symptoms. What's going on?

Hey!

Sorry for the long absence. I've been... very busy, and I keep forgetting that I have social media.

To be honest, I've been isolating in the dojo, neglecting my needs and my brothers. It's not... I'm not proud of it. I'm trying to fix it now. But things are so hard without Master Splinter, I've been feeling more and more lost as of late.

Karai has been around more often, helping out. She tries to comfort me, but... it doesn't really work.

I'm not sure why, yet, right now, I'm starting to look up again. Maybe I can make things better. Maybe we could make the lair more like home again.

I don't know. Sorry for the sudden vent.

Interesting question. Let's see...

Donnie - he somehow becomes even more of a workaholic than before, but he wears protective gear. He believes that sickness can't stop him and overworks himself until he passes out and we have to take care of him.

Raph - At first, he tries to carry on like normal, but as soon as it gets bad, he isolates and refuses to let anyone inside his room until he feels better. We have to bring him things so he doesn't neglect his needs while he sits in there and tries to "just get over it".

Mikey - He becomes a mess. Clumsy, tired but somehow full of energy, and he begs to be taken care of. I'm usually the one stuck with him, which oftentimes causes me to get sick, too.

A space fact for yer troubles: Jupiters moon, Io, which is fifth in the orbital order(Métis is the closest, then Adrastea, Amalthea, Thebe, and Io), has a surface covered in volcanos that erupt frequently with molten rock rich in sulfuric compounds. This gives it a very colorful and constantly changing appearance!

I'll try to check my settings about that... I'm not sure why it won't let you dm me right now.

Anyways, that sounds really cool! Space really is amazing!

I did find a space magazine once that fell into the sewer! It's part of what sparked my special interest outside of space heroes.

Sweet!! It’s one of my absolute favorite books, I’ve had it since I was about 7, and I(if you’re serious bout readin the book and are okay with me doing so of course) would love to DM ya ‘n send ya pics of the pages so we can read it together!

One of my favorite facts that I’ve learned from it over the years of reading it is that Saturns wings actually have their own relatively dense atmosphere that’s mostly oxygen(I believe it’s around 70%).

Also neutron stars. I never would have learned about those if not for that glorious book.

Of course you can dm me some of the pages, I'd love to learn more about my special interest! I dont know as much as I'd like to because I only went to the surface for the first time at 15... the only books in the lair were about ninjitsu. But I'm trying to research and learn much more with my T-phone!

Maybe I'll go dumpster diving again to see if I can find that book... or something similar.
