TCF Modern AU Character Checklist (Official)
RIDI, one of the Korean publishers of TCF/LCF, recently released new ebook volumes for TCF. The volume set consisted of volumes 10-18, spanning chapters 201-398 of Part 1. And RIDI added a "Character Checklist" as the exclusive bonus content for buying the volume set.
What is this character checklist about? It's just a list of things that the characters are most likely to do or prefer. But it is set in a modern AU (alternate universe) setting.
Those who want to purchase official merchandise can head over to RIDI to buy the new ebooks. You can get a 10% discount and a 5000 won coupon if you participate in the event, so the cost for the new volume set will only be 24,160 won. But be aware that this is only in the Korean language. There is no official English ebook for TCF. 🥲

Some trivia:
Mint chocolate in Korea is similar to pineapple pizza that people either heavily like or dislike.
Witira being a heavy drinker is a pun related to her race as a whale tribe. Sulgorae (술고래) is a figurative expression for a heavy drinker. It’s a combination of the words 술 (alcohol) and 고래 (whale). English has a similar expression to it - drink like a fish
Making snow ducks is a trend in Korea. They use plastic tongs with a duck mold to create snow ducks. Some treat is a game where you make dozens of it fast as if printing out items in a factory, and line it up in a row.
Tteok-galbi is grilled short rib patties. Hmm, delicious~! 😋

Expectation vs. Reality (TCF Version)
Expectation: Final boss fight where everyone works together to defeat the WS.
Reality: A 1v1 fight being livestreamed where this crazy bastard stabs himself in the heart. And then stabs the WS with the same dagger.
Bonus:
Expectation: Cale keeping his promise of hitting the WS at the back of the head. Literally.
Reality: Cale beating the sht out of WS with a rock 🤣

Reactions to Miracle Creator's Chapter 146
TLDR; Cale and HD succeeds in purifying the 2 living jiangshi. Lots of poetry. Cale meets the Sima patriarch.

Purification Success
Cale and HD worked together to purify the other Living Jiangshi in the Demon Cult. They were:
Captain of the Demon Laws Brigade
Pavilion Master of an unnamed pavilion
Some noteworthy parts:
The two were crying, thinking that they were a disgrace to the Demon Cult when they found out that they were Living Jiangshi.
HD found a way to stop them from self-destruction.
The black death energy inside them was not even a tenth when compared to HD.
Cale did not cough blood afterwards.
One could get a power boost after purification.
HD's successor drooling at Cale again.
Now that I've said that important parts, let me just say that MTL (or the author herself) has turned this chapter into something that made you question if this was BL... 🤣🤣🤣
All those vague statements that sounded suggestive... Heck, there were times I'm left wondering if HD was flirting with Cale. Read this part:
Cale: We will be moving in small numbers to the vicinity of the Sichuan and Yunnan Provinces.
HD: Yes, just the two of us, will be moving together, so you don't have to worry.
Narrator: Cale looked at Heavenly Demon, who spouted out nonsense, with an unfriendly gaze.
HD: What's wrong?
Narrator: Seeing Heavenly Demon asking back casually, Cale's gaze grew fiercer. At that, Heavenly Demon smiled and shrugged his shoulders.
I guess the real context of this conversation was HD teasing Cale, knowing that Cale was a massive tsundere. Perhaps it's just me who's thinking that this is BL... After all, TCF doesn't have any romance in it. Author even sank the CH x Rosalyn ship back then in Part 1. 🥲
Poetry Again
This was to be expected because Cale used his Fire AP again. But this time, the poetry was from the perspective of the Kunlun School Leader. He and Jegal Mi Ryeo (the general commander of the Murim Alliance) were invited to witness the purification too.
Of course, the Kunlun School Leader ended up becoming a Cale simp too. 😂
Sima Pyeong, the Evil Alliance Leader
Cale finally meets the father of the Sima siblings, and oh boy, he's one hilarious guy. 😂His son, Sima Jung, comes running towards him with open arms, but he just sends his son flying away with one wave of his fan.
And when he met Cale, he spurted out these lines:
"Aigoo, I'm finally meeting our Young Master Kim! That immaculate skin and silky black hair as if soaked in moonlight, and those deep and profound eyes that reminds me of the magnificent view of the Central Plains, this Sima Pyeong feels like his eyes has been opened! Hehe."
Hahahahahaha 🤣🤣🤣 His glib tongue is even worse than Cale and Alberu's combined... 😂As expected of the father of a fight maniac, a drunkard, and a gambler. 🤣🤣🤣
Ending Remarks
Hiatus is over and we're back to seeing our miracle creator. Oh yeah, today's chapter had the chapter title drop: "It's a miracle." Perhaps we'll get a new chapter title in the next chapter.
Moving on, we're now meeting the Evil Faction people. Once this part is done, we'll finally meet the Blood Cult! Everyone, hang in there! Especially to Cale-nim who wants to go home already, hahaha 😂

“Hyung.”
He turned and looked at the only one who called him that.
‘...Why do I feel like there should be another one calling me hyung?’
Lee Soo Hyuk waved off that feeling as he said.
“What is it, Jung Soo-ah?”
Choi Jung Soo who had the same weird feeling as Lee Soo Hyuk, sighed.
“We need to prepare for hunting the unranked monster.”
Lee Soo Hyuk hummed as he put the paper cup on the table.
“Mm, the hunt that strategist Kim has planned.”
Choi Jung Soo nodded and ignored the strange feeling when he heard the term ‘strategist Kim’.
‘Something feels off.’
Both of them felt like something was strange, as if they were forgetting something very important.
In which, KRS has made a deal with GoD to stop LSH and CJS's deaths in exchange for everyone's memories of him, then started to use his records to help everyone get rid of the unranked monsters.
