Our love for the show and these two girls in particular isn't going to die. We'll keep hosting the event, showing everyone how much we love rwby and bumbleby, because we do. And we encourage you to do the same, as long as you want to of course.

The thing I’m trying to keep in mind right now regarding the Rooster Teeth news is this:

RWBY made it nine seasons. Nine. Seasons. Over ten years. For an indie series made by a comparatively small team. That’s more than most big studio shows get.

Even if we never end up seeing the end of it (I’m still holding out hope), even if you never cared about the show or thought it went downhill at some point, you have to admit that that is incredibly admirable.

Monty Oum, Miles Luna and Kerry Shawcross wanted to make a show, and they did. And that little show ended up becoming a whole ass franchise with over a hundred episodes and legions of fans all over the world.

And no matter what, I think that’s worth celebrating.

Some Shenhe costume design to celebrate Lantern Rite

I wanted to play around with giving her a design that's less overly feminine than her default one (something that would be considered more masculine as far as MHY character designs go), just for fun. I decided to also repurpose some elements of her beta design. What can I say, Shenhe looks amazing with short hair

More Genshin costume design, because I'm still very pressed about Genshin's skin shortage (and the rare times we get a skin it feels like the skins are playing too safe).

This one is Ayato in Sumeru garb. I remember Ayato was talking about Inazuma-Fontaine cross-cultural collaborations with Neuvilette during the filming event but this time it's Inazuma-Sumeru cross-cultural collaboration. And this time Ayato gets the Sumeru-themed skin instead of his sister. Now all they need to do is make him star in Nilou's bazaar plays to complete the parallels lol.

I'm pretty sure this was an OC at first. I was doing a Genshin OC based on the parrot bird that's always perched on pirates' shoulders in media, but at some point while I was designing the moveset Childe unconsciously possessed me and the combat moves ended up feeling too riptide-ish when I pondered about it in the end, so eventually it's just became Childe, but uhmm...Natlan flavored I guess?

Here's my rough "visual estimate" on what the pyro archon (or what Natlan characters in general) will look like

I've heard that an expy of Himeko is apparently going to be the pyro archon(?) so I used her as a base for my pyro archon design.....buuttt now I'm questioning the logistics of whether they'll change the skin tone of a flagship Mihoyo gurlie so I initially made her pale butttt eventually I decided f- it Mihoyo has like 3 mildly dark skinned characters. I know Sumeru had like a shortage of them because apparently half of the characters were raised on the other side of the Wall of Samiel under the shade of the akademya's tree....buttt I don't think Natlan has a lore-related reason like that to give us few darker characters.....andd both Iansan (the travail trailer Natlan kid) and the Muratans from the Genshin comic are both on the darker side (even though they're just tan at most) so I have faith in Natlan.

I feel like the pyro archon will mostly borrow a lot of design and story elements from Huitzilopochtli which is like an Aztec deity of war and the sun. And if we ever meet like a dragon or dragon-themed character in there they'll be Quetzalcoatl-coded but idk I don't work at Mihoyo

So is Wriothesley supposed to be wolf or shark-coded? Like he looks like he has wolf ears but Sigewinne slaps shark stickers on him. Or maybe it's a "sharks are the wolves of the sea" kind of thing and he's both? Make it make sense

Cyno redesigned for your Inazuman AU:

I'm always kind of fascinated by that whole tsukumogami thing back during the Akitsu Kimodameshi yokai-themed event back in 3.3 so I drew Cyno in Inazuman garb. His anubis hat gets replaced with a kitsune mask and his mummy bandages gets replaced with tsukumogami-possessed obi wrap (apparently it's called ittan momen?)

Another tsukumogami-themed outfit but for Lisa. The story behind this in my head is that Lisa stumbled upon a tsukumogami-possessed witch hat while conducting research on the elemental leylines in Inazuma back then for her thesis. Since then she has repurposed the sentient hat into her trusty research sidekick, letting her see things from a different perspective quite literally. Originally, this concept was me trying to predict-design a Hexenzirkel witch member but the Hexenzirkel concept kind of fizzled out midway. And then the laser beam-shooting eyeballs just happened.

Ittan momen inspiration:

Sometimes I wish Mihoyo went full on Gale Weathers for Charlotte instead of making her some goody-two-shoes reporter. She could've been the "obnoxiously nosy but surprisingly competent in a deadly scenario" reporter who gets attacked by Vacher's water dissolving scheme but somehow flawlessly saves herself from imminent death everytime

Fashion brands need to take notes from Mihoyo's art team their runway pieces look like flops by comparison

sometimes i wish the real world was more like genshin impact in the way ppl dressed. judge but your favorite color is blue and your boots are thigh-high? sure. boob hole and also kind of a pirate? yeah go on. dude dressed almost like a normal businessman but with sleeves big enough to hide boba tea in? fucking yeah. you are very very feared but also wear an anubis hat? makes sense.

My own take on a landsknecht-themed outfit for Kaeya, Rosaria and Thoma.

It's absurd that we've had anime Germany in this game in Genshin for three years now and WE STILL DON'T HAVE LANDSKNECHTS. Landsknecht characters would absolutely look banger in Genshin's art style.
