Doomsday is pleasantly amused by this word of caution from space explorer. "Aww, what's this now? Are you worried about me? What's the worst they could do to me? Kill me? Ehehehehe. I doubt they've even seen anything like me, boss. But you know what. As a thank you in exchange for those coordinates, I'll be sure to be extra cautious - although in order to do that, I'll need some intel on what kind of defense measures and weapons they've got. Who knows. Maybe I'll just... lift a couple of those for your own personal benefit."
As Nero goes about looking up the coordinates in the terminals, the ghost hovers around behind him, watching over his shoulder. Hell, she's been bored with everything lately. Everything has lost its appeal. Even her all-time favorite activity of setting things on fire. You can only set dumpsters on fire and burn down buildings so many times before it all becomes white, smoky, flaming noise. Who knows. Maybe messing around with space billionaires will be just the patch her soul needs. Probably not, but it's worth a shot. Plus what's not to love about a good ol' haunt and heist?
"Well, Nero, if it's my help you need, I can hardly say no to that. It's not like I don't have all the time in the multiverse, ehehe. I hope you're ready for some new stuff on your manifest," she snickers while lacing her fingers together and making the motion of cracking her knuckles, although they don't crack, which is distinctly dissatisfying to her, but alas, you can't have everything.
Nero raised a brow at Doomsday.
"I'm not opposed to handing you the coordinates and letting you raise hell. I doubt I could really stop you on my own. But remember they're fairly advanced too... just be careful, pace yourself. I've almost lost my ship-- and watched a couple others in the fleet bite the dust because of those scuzzballs."
He punched in some requests into a terminal and printed out coordinates for a few different places. Some planets, space stations, large asteroids being used for mining purposes. Anywhere, any 'asset' that a company might retreat to.
"But every bit counts. And I'd be lying if I said we couldn't use your help out here."

I don’t know if I’ve ever said this on here guys, but
I AM SO FUCKING GAME FOR USING THE SAME PLOT WITH MULTIPLE PARTNERS.
someone messaged me this morning after I sent them a message late last night about a plot on their wishlist, saying that we couldn’t play it out because “somebody messaged me about it first”. I find that VERY rude, just because there are SO MANY WAYS you can go about a plot!! It doesn’t matter if you have the same plot with two people or twenty people BECAUSE there are so many angles you can play it at!!
So I just thought I’d throw this out there, that if you see a plot on my wishlist FUCKIN MESSAGE ME. I literally do not care if I’m playing out the same plot with one person or ten people. Throw the fuckin plot at me guys. I want that plot from different angles. I do not care how many people I’m doing it with. THROW IT AT ME.
this has been a psa.

For ancient and/or immortal muses, here are some questions to build your headcanons!
😇Do you think you’ll ever experience an afterlife? 😷Do you have any weaknesses that could challenge your lifespan? 👥Have you met others like you? 👨‍👨‍👦Are you part of a family of ancients/immortals? 🎈Do you remember the start of your life? How long ago was it? 💔Is there anyone from your past that you missed for a long time? 😢Do you still think about people you knew years, even centuries, ago? 👶Do you have children? If you don’t, do you think they would be like you? 🍼 Would you ever consider having offspring with a mortal? 📕Do you ever run out of things to be curious about? 📗What is one of the most valuable things you’ve learned? 📘In the remainder of your life, what else do you hope to learn? 💀What is your opinion on death and mortality in general? 🥀Do you create bonds with mortals or avoid getting attached? ☹ Talk about your memory of a tragedy you’ve witnessed. 🖤Do you believe immortality changes someone for the worst? 🕗In your time, what has been one of the most interesting time periods?  ⏳Do you ever wish you had a mortal lifespan? 😿Is there any one person you would sacrifice your immortality for? 🎁Name one thing that never gets old or loses its charm for you. 🔮Have you ever considered (or looked for) ways to end your immortality? 🤡How do you deal with avoiding suspicion while living forever? ✨Other than immortality, do you have other supernatural abilities? 🌱What is one thing about the world you’ve come to appreciate? 🌼Have you traveled? If so, name one place that you love the most. 💾Do you ever have trouble with new technology? 💗Is there one mortal in your life you will never forget? 🎼What is your opinion on how music, art, and culture has changed? 💕Do you think two immortals could handle one another’s company forever? 🙄How do you handle boredom and monotony? 💿What is one (or more) inventions you’re thankful exist in your current time? 👿Would you ever use your power and knowledge to destroy? 🌋Do you think you will be alive to see the end of the world? 🗻Do you ever want to escape society altogether for a while? 🤠Have you ever disguised yourself or gone by different names?

Thursday laughs at Antares's reaction to her story. Even she has to admit how outlandish the whole ordeal was, but, well, when you're stuck in an Office in a post-apocalyptic world and you want a baby and there aren't any available suitors, a woman's gotta do what a woman's gotta do.
Seeing that Antares doesn't want Mae touching his face, though, she pulls the baby back a few inches so that her little hands can't quite reach him. She fusses a little, but not much, and instead goes back to wanting Mom to pick her up, which is what Thursday does.
"Huh? Oh, no! Nobody was cloned, ahahaha. Everything was done like it would be done at a fertility clinic, except, you know, here at the Office. Sorry for the confusion," Thursday hurries to clarify, realizing she didn't explain the process very well. "She's mine, and her donor father is out there in another dimension somewhere, that's the deal. But you wanna know something kinda funny?" She snickers. "She actually kind of looks like Oleander a little, so now there's a joke going around the Office that she's theirs, even though they just got here like, two months ago, hahaha. Actually, have you met them yet? Ollie? They've probably tried to get your attention through one of the computers or your phone, if you have."
Mae, in the meantime, has gone back to just staring at Antares the way babies do. She has half her hand in her mouth, drooling all over it, and is still very interested in Antares's helmet. Why shouldn't she be? It's a smooth, shiny thing sitting on someone's head.
"You- she- what?!?" Antares sounded more bewildered than anything. "Just like that? Just held a buncha doctors hostage in another dimension for ...a baby..?" Well he's heard of people who really wanted offspring but that all sounded like a bit much to him. There was probably more to it but Antares was also very much a guy who cannot dimensional travel (not by himself anyways) and yes that's the part that he's really hung up on.
But then he cracks a smile.
"Seriously though, that's crazy." He softly tries to push Mae Mae's hand away from his face. He's pretty neutral on kids actually. Babies were fine because he can't actually remember much of when his (former) younger siblings were that age. And the less he is even vaguely reminded of those times, the better.
Still doesn't like being touched much though.
"So, like, there's just this random person in that other world out there who might not even know they got cloned , huh? Not that it matters though, cute kid."

"Stanley, look what I found! There is a cup that has your name as logo! Isn't that great? I had no idea you were that famous!" *Patricia to Stanley showing him one of these cups named after him *lmao)
Stanley can't help but grin hugely at the sight of the Stanley cup.
He's seen these around and is amused by them. In fact, the Days ordered in a veritable shit ton of them and filled an entire room back at the Office with them as soon as they found out about them, all as joke to make Stanley laugh.
Well, it worked until a bunch of slasher zombies appeared from out of nowhere and began scaling the Office walls, smashing in windows and trying to get to the Stanley cups. Nobody had ever heard Dorian scream so loudly, it was so frightened by what was happening, and Doomsday, in her haste to calm down her building friend, had nearly set fire to the room full of zombies, forgetting that the room was part of her building friend.
...That had turned out to be quite a mess.
Now, though, this is a singular Stanley cup and it's being handed to him by Patricia and they are far away from the slasher zombies, so it's okay to laugh.
He signs, "I also have a brand of tools, did you know that?" while smiling and laughing silently.

Doomsday finally looks away from the video, now more interested in hearing about the ways capitalism and the horrors of her time might have been defeated in Nero's. It's good to know things got sorted out for the better somewhere, even if she makes dark jokes about how it didn't elsewhere.
"Well, that's something, at least. Can't win them all, as they say," she snorts. 'Intensely regulated' isn't as good as dead, but the only way dead will ever work is if everybody is dead and, well, that's the world she already has. Case and point.
"How do these 'states' of their own even work? Do they put their own asses to work or what? Or have their loyal brand fans followed them and been stupid enough to allow themselves poverty wages and shitty benefits? Let me at 'em, Nero. Tell me where they are and just let me go haunt them for a week. They'll shut down. Come on, please let me go haunt them."
The way she almost sounds like she's begging, it's difficult to tell if it's just that she's bored, if she's messing around, or if she really does just want to go ruin the day of a bunch of billionaires.
Nero had hesitated when it looked like Doom didn't want the pats. He probably got in one or two after she relaxed, didn't want to push it.
That and he was considering breaching temporal guidelines just to abduct every jerk that made the past such a pain to live in, delaying this future-- much less an even better one if all that artificial hardship hadn't been imposed on people.
"Sort of. The ones remaining on Earth are intensely regulated, the rest escaped to form their own states back on their deep space colonies. We all still find ourselves caught in their influence, and a lot of people have misguided brand loyalty that allows them to retain some footing on Earth and the other INTERPLAN member worlds. But we're not at as much of a disadvantage anymore."

The Days are not the most touchy-feely of folks. This isn't to say that they are totally averse to being touched, it's more like they are hypersensitive to it and they have to trust you enough to allow it.
It's not just about trust, though. It's about consent and expecting it. And it goes in both directions too. They have a terrible time figuring out if they're supposed to hug another person to comfort them because they know they wouldn't want a stranger hugging them. Like if Thursday was crying, she wouldn't want anyone touching her except for someone extremely close to her, and even so, if she was especially upset, she'd still shy away from touch.
It's different when they're feeling relaxed and comfortable, however. They're more likely to let friends into their zone then.
I would say that Thisday is the most open to physical contact. It's easiest to get hugs out of him.
Thursday is in the middle. She'll hug and allow hugs if she likes you enough and feels comfortable enough. But if she's feeling overly upset, she will shy away from contact. It's overwhelming for her at that point.
Doomsday, as you might have guessed, is the most difficult in this aspect. She doesn't initiate a lot of physical contact, and things like hugs she will only initiate and allow if she really likes you and trusts you. She's very protective of her personal space. If you try to hug her or comfort her when she's upset, she will snarl at you if she hasn't run off already (which she most likely has).

Doom gives Nero a little side-eye at the pat on the back, which isn't at all obvious considering she has no actual eyeballs. Part of her really wants to snap at him and ask him who the fuck gave him permission to touch her? But the other, more rational part of her decides to let it go, figuring that whatever his reason is for doing that, it was probably done out of consolation for the shit she had to put up with in her time. No harm, no foul, and it's not worth biting his head off over, nor is it worth ruffling her feathers over.
She decides to just giggle at the video some more instead of mentioning it at all. "Ehehehehehe. Well, in my time I bet they were all proud of themselves when the whole 'life-extending' chip thing turned out to be hijacked by corporations and used to project ads directly into people's heads, which eventually drove everybody mad, thus kick-starting the zombie apocalypse. I mean, I was stuck in the Office while that all went down, so I didn't see it all happen, but the evidence is all there. Anyway, I'll bet the anti-vaxxers thought they'd won there. But everybody died all the same. Capitalism."
The ghost shrugs, as if that illustrates all the effects of "capitalism".
"You guys figure that one out yet, eh?"
Nero nodded. He remembered hearing about this sort of thing in school. Even some of his ancestors had journals detailing various ways as to how they were nearly prevented from medicating appropriately, or blocked off altogether.
"Some still pop up from time to time, but usually, after they announce themselves to be of such belief, some dire fate befalls them almost immediately after. Like shooting themselves in the feet, with a bazooka."
For a moment, he considered the possibility that Doom lost someone close to herself because of the shadow of ignorance from the era she was alive for. And offered a little pat on the back, genuine in his attempt to comfort her as much as he could.

It might not be obvious, but the Office does have a sort of hierarchy.
Cyrus and Thursday are at the top, with Thursday really being the one in charge of everything.
Pretty much everyone in the Office will listen to Thursday and go to her when things need to get done or if there is trouble. She's the one who will go and check out problems and organize plans if something is awry, that sort of thing. She's pretty much the leader in everything. If you're a friend of Thursday, you're quite safe in the Office.
Cyrus is a protector too. He's in the control booth, watching all the monitors. If there is something going on in the Office, he can override Dorian (to a degree) and lock down the doors and pretty much all of the Office to quarantine areas of the Office and keep dangers out and contained. He also has no qualms about using specific buttons on the control panel to hurt intruders if necessary.
The others in the Office are sort of mixed beneath them. There isn't really a "ranking" system to speak of, it's just that Cyrus and Thursday are the Narrators of the Office and have the strongest leadership, with Thursday having the strongest leadership of the two of them, so as long as you're a friend of Thursday, pretty much, you're safe.
There's a caveat, though! While Thursday usually will protect you, she will listen if there is significant trouble. That is to say, if someone under her roof is involved in a lot of trouble that goes against her moral code, she may become involved and try to seek resolution. Usually it's peaceful resolution, but she will likely step in.

"Groups of people who believe that inoculations do more harm than good and actively and intentionally spread misinformation about them in an effort to prevent others from making informed decisions about their own bodies and health decisions for their own children. You could also call them pro-disease," Doom explains with a barely concealed sneer, although it isn't directed at Kiyuki, it's more directed at the subject matter.
"In other words, they are shitty people and you should bite them on sight, ehehehehe."
"You know, I'm really glad humanity ended when it did. Someone needed to shut my anti-vax aunt up, and I'm glad I didn't end up having to go to prison for it."
