The seven (and Nico) as gods: part 2
Hi there! I got bored of writing so this section isn’t finished. I don’t think I’ll ever finish writing these short stories unless I get a bunch of notes or I regain my motivation. I’m still proud of what I have so I’m posting it even though I didn’t finish the last paragraph. Remember, I haven’t finished the last hoo book (it’s out at my library) and if you see any mistakes, no you didn’t!
Piper becomes the goddess of childhood love, of crushes and flings that could never be more, of the what-ifs and the if-only-I’ds. She knows your hearts pain and senses your feelings before you even could imagine them being there. She is the bittersweet at the end of your long tears cried, (and though she’s technically not supposed to, she holds you is an invisible embrace.)
The Gods betted on her falling first, a child of Aphrodite given godhood? How could she ever last very long? What they didn’t count on were her followers. Followers who know not of her existence but still feel her presence everyday, the hopeless romantics left to wander life alone, that was, until Piper came to them. She’d follow them to dates, then those turned to weddings, then to births of the next generation of dreamers. She was the goddess of unrequited love after all, so she could choose not to allow that sadness to not take hold if she wished. Still, she could not last forever. Piper was the third to go, there was too much heartache in the world for her to fix. Too many broken dreams to mend. Even so, as she let her remainder of mortality slip away, her last conscious thought was of What-If?
Piper was the goddess mortals prayed to never meet. She was the goddess of wilted roses and ripped up photos. None of the other seven new gods, her so called “friends” would get near her, too scared of breaking dreams to even look her in the eye. So she took shelter in her mothers court. They taught her the true meaning of love, they showed her true heartache. She had once tried to hide from mortals, shielding them from the pain she caused. Now Piper embraced them, her mother could handle the love stories, Piper would do her real duties. It was fun, for awhile, listening to their pleas, watching them throw themselves at her feet. But eventually even that joy was gone. Her mothers court began to fear what they had made, they kept their distance and too soon she was alone again. Piper was the goddess of the lonely and the miserable, the loved but now forgotten, an ironic twist she’d spend the rest of eternity knowing.

The seven (and Nico) as gods: Part 1
Warning! I just did this for fun, please don’t take it too seriously! Also I did this in like, twenty minutes so if there’s any mistakes just pretend there aren’t lol!
Annabeth becomes the goddess of the hard truth and hinden answers. She guards the knowledge too dark for humans to have without shattering their minds. She’ll lead you to what you want to know in riddles and clues that only the smartest hero’s can figure out- but beware, all knowledge has a price… (usually just do a good deed or tell her a fact/story she hasn’t heard before. Annabeth thinks all knowledge is good knowledge so she’s pretty chill with the “sacrifice/offering” thing, it’s mostly a formality.)
It takes Annabeth along time before she becomes like the other gods selfish and rude, she gets her wildest dream, all the answers is the universe! But knowing everything isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. She knows everything, past, present, future. She sees the fall of Olympus but her position forbids her to share. Alone in her palace, she spends years at a time preparing for the end. Her only escape is when Perseus, (god of those lost at sea) manages to drag her away every free years or when the anxiety and visions take over her completely and she blacks out to a sleep so deep not even Hypno himself can wake her. She sees her and her friends descent to self serving and petty gods, just like all the other Olympians. It’s only a few hundred years before the first of the seven (and Nico) become but a caricature of who they last were, the others soon follow. In the end, she can’t take it, with so few people left to hold her up, Annabeth falls. She no longer asks childish story’s and gifts but for true sacrifices. An eye for an eye, as the mortals once said. She loves the ironic ones the best, “You want to know how to get your true love to propose? Cut off your ring finger. Well I never said he would propose to you! Who would want someone who would mutilate themselves anyway? ”
When the first signs of the end come as Annabeth long ago predicted, she no longer cares. She’ll be safe in her library on her throne. When seven heroes come to see her, to beg for knowledge on how to protect the world as they know it from being torn apart, she simply laughs. Important knowledge is not wasted on such young children. The hero’s start to turn away in defeat but one stops. The goddess looks at this one closely, and she sees something the Annabeth had long forgotten. True want, desperation to save the people she loves, stormy grey eyes that believe that they can win any fight with her intellect alone. The young hero fidgets with the beads many beads on her necklace. She won’t take “no”. The insolent girl insults Annabeth abilities! She says that Annabeth didn’t know how to solve their quest. Of course a goddess of Annabeths wisdom would not for such an obvious trick, but she gives the answers they seek anyway, -just to have some entertainment as the hero’s fail, -of course. It’s not like she actually cares…
Thank you for reading! I’ve only gotten to hoh do if anythings wrong just pretend it isn’t!

I JUST started reading this book, haven’t even turned to chapter one yet and I know it’s going to be amazing.
