Everyone is talking about tonight’s Super Blood Wolf Moon but do you know why it is called so?

📍Every year we have a wolf moon, it is the first full moon of January. It is not clear why it is called like this, but it is not difficult to imagine the wolves howling at the sky…

📍 During 2019 we will have 3 Supermoons- meaning three occassions where the moon is closer to earth therefore it looks bigger at its full phase. The first one is tonight.

📍Finally, the blood moon is a way to describe the red colour that comes as a result from the Lunar Eclipse. This is always a stunning occasion and it will happen tonight, as well. For Britain this lunar eclipse is even more important as it is the last to be visible for the following 10 years!

So, tonight all eyes on the sky!

A Super Moon is when the Full Moon is in direct alignment with the Sun, and is also at its closest point to Earth due to the Earth’s rotation.

The Spiritual Meaning of A Super Full Moon

So what is the meaning of a Super Moon from a spiritual perspective?

Essentially… It equates to supercharged Full Moon energies.

Which when harnessed correctly can be an immensely positive thing… But can also lead to emotional turmoil, and the surfacing of old issues, drama, etc.

Think of it in terms of a really bright light shining towards the Earth…

The light is immensely beneficial, but in the process it reveals some of the lower vibrations darker, and heavy energies that up until this point have been hidden.

The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Leo brings to a halt situations, people and events that are not positive and don’t bring happiness.  Depending on the risks/  direction taken up to this tine, it could be a case of the “bubble being burst” , without warning.  Leo rules, happiness, love, creativity, risks, children/childhood , pleasure, pride, leadership and being dogmatic, Therefore, it  would be wise to pay attention to the weeks prior to this aspect, which will give an indication of what to expect.   

It may feel as if a critical point has been reached, which maybe true, but this is the way the Universe gets a person’s attention to be more aware of the direction they have chosen to take,, which isn’t necessarily harmonious with Natural Law or the an individual’s  life purpose.  2019 won’t be quite as turbulent as 2018, wait until 2020 for that!

 Sill, the universe always gives “warning signs”,  allowing each person to change course and rectify instability.   Ultimately it would be wise to  stop, look, listen, using self-introspection to navigate away from potentially upsetting situations.

December solstice 2018 arrives on December 21 at 22 23 UTC. High summer for the Southern Hemisphere. For the Northern Hemisphere, the return of more sunlight! The winter solstice is when the Sun’s rays are directly over the tropic of capricorn 23 ½ degrees south of the equator. The solstice is when the Earth is tilted most away from the Sun on its axis. The winter solstice marks the longest night and shortest day in the northern hemisphere while in the southern hemisphere will have their longest day. The Sun stays below the north pole horizon during the winter solstice. This is the beginning of the winter in the northern hemisphere.  Days will begin lengthening after winter solstice. That leads up to the summer solstice in June. The winter solstice is different than the equinox. The equinox is when the Sun’s rays are directly over the equator. That happens twice a year when day and night are equal lengths.

"This winter solstice is a special one, heralding awe-inspiring sights one rarely has the luxury of witnessing during the longest night of the year. 2018’s winter solstice will be paired with another natural phenomenon called the Long Night Moon, in recognition of December’s full moon that ushers in the coldest time of the year."
