We've absolutely smashed past our goal and we'll continue to say a massive massive thank you to everyone supporting this project! We said we weren鈥檛 going to do any stretch goals, and we aren鈥檛, but we're going to be working with @technicalgrimoire on an online generator for Ynn!
Some of you may remember the Stygian Library generator that David created during the last project. (if not go check it out its super useful: https://www.technicalgrimoire.com/stygiangenerator)
The generator for Ynn will also be available for free online for everyone to use! (though it will make more sense if you also have the book)

At first sight my guesses are:
Green Jasmine Pearls
A British blend of some kind
Dark black (ceylon? Kemum?)
An oolong (???)
Tune in tomorrow for the taste test and analysis.

Today's Tea is a Green Tea from Charleston Tea Garden.
These were wedding favors from a lovely ceremony I attended last night. And the tea is also excellent!
Congrats again to the happy couple. May you share many cups of tea together over many many years!

Today's Tea is a 2018 Puerh from Yunnan Sourcing.
Rich, earthy, and slightly woody. The best puerh I've had. And it gets better as it ages. I only have a few cups left, so thanks for sharing this one with me!

Today's Tea is a Gunpowerder Green Mint from ????
I don't remember where I got this tea; the label is long gone and I have been adding new mint/gunpowder to my blend over the years. But I love green tea with mint. It's such a refreshing combination!

Today's Tea is Imperial Gold Need from Tea Runners
I love it when tea looks different; and this stuff looks like little leaf stems!
The taste is like a sour honey. Not my favorite, I usually prefer richer, darker teas. But it's a gentle start to my day, which is what I need.

Today's Tea is a Formosa Oolong from Tea Runners.
The description says "peach undertones" but I think it's more like a yam flavor. Subtle. Smooth. With a hint of bitterness.
If Tea Runners was cheaper I would buy more from them. The subscription is fun with good variet-tea.

Today's Tea: Darjeeling Blend from Twinings
Darjeeling is a milder, smoother drink than most of my teas. Perfect for a day like today, when I want to remain just a bit sleepy.
NOTE: I don't care about the coronation, please don't bring it up. I just like tea.

Today's Tea is a Lapsang Souchong from Upton Tea.
If I could only drink one tea for the rest of my life, it would be a lapsang. It smells like a campfire but has a peaty, whiskey flavor. Better for sipping than chugging.

Today's Tea is an Imperial Keemum from Metropolitan Tea Company.
This is my favorite "natural black tea". Everything else I really enjoy is smoked, age, blended, or somehow corrupted.
But this stuff is smooth and pure black tea. Delicious!

Today I'm drinking a Russian Caravan from Metropolitan Tea Company.
My mom glued the hedgehog to my mug and he's been a great tea pet!
I love the story I heard about Russian Caravan tea. I have no idea if it's true and I don't want to look it up.
So when Russian caravans finished a long trade route they would celebrate with a party. They would take whatever tea they had leftover, mix it all together, and brew it. Each batch of Russian Caravan tea was different.
A stone soup of tea.
Nowadays, most "Russian Caravan" tea blends have a specific flavor that is replicated each time.
But I still prefer the "leftover blend" kind of Russian Caravan. If I can remember, I'd like to have my own Russian Caravan blend of whatever bits and bobs are left over.
