JUNG JAEHEON LIVES AU!

I finally finished what would be the first arts of this AU. I stayed up late, but I did it and I'm really happy. Check this out! 😭💗

I like to think of Jaeheon as a kind of uncle to Eunyoo. I added the detail of the burns to the design! I thought about it while I was drawing and I liked how it turned out.

I really need a Jaeheon and UiMyeong/Neohuman Sangwook fanfic, please. 😭

Thinking about Jaeheon being excited to see Sangwook again but being UiMyeong's asshole... I'll probably write it or make more decent fanart in the future.

Sweet Home fandom!

Would you guys be interested in an AU of Jung Jaeheon being one of the survivors in the stadium during season 2?

I've been thinking about it for a few days now and I have some ideas in mind to write a fanfic.

I think more than anything the problem in this is "how could he survive?". That's the part I've been thinking about the least and burning my brain cells the most (lol). I also don't want to fall into the magical "OMG, he's alive! (In some way I'll never explain on screen)" but that's probably exactly what I'll do. Forgive me for being lazy.

Back on topic! The interesting thing is the HCs, I guess:

I thought of Jaeheon surviving but suffering the amputation of his left arm and looking too incapacitated to actively collaborate with the rest of the survivors in the stadium. In my AU, others who died in canon like Yuri, Jisoo, Sangwook, etc.... They would remain the same.

Jaeheon would still hold on to his faith, repeating to himself that somehow it is God's will, but why would he still be alive? Probably that would give him time to question deeply about it.

(Writing this I realize how thought out Jaeheon's death was 😭 but I refuse to accept it.)

I think he would probably help Father Peter with the mass and giving faith to the rest so they wouldn't turn into monsters (?). It would be interesting their relationship! I don't think they would necessarily get along badly, but there are things Jaeheon would think Peter shouldn't do from his position, like gambling, and aspects of his attitude that exasperate him. Yet Jaeheon is still really sympathetic as he was with Sangwook back in the day and doesn't take those details to heart.

I get the idea that Father and Jaeheon drink on the sly because they keep each other some company.

I think from his role, Jaeheon would relate to quite a few of the people in the stadium and they might find some comfort in his word. But I think the main people he would spend the most time with would probably be Jinok, Suyeong, Father Peter and Eunyoo (maybe Seokchan and Changyeon, idk).

Although the interactions with Eunyoo were probably to keep each other company in the face of losses, but every time Jaeheon tries to talk, she refuses to do so and takes her usual rude attitude...

OH AND IT WOULD BE SO INTERESTING TO SEE JAEHEON WITH NEOHUMAN SANGWOOK.

He probably wouldn't know that UiMyeong is occupying Sangwook's body and would be hopeful that he's still alive.(I live for this ship, sorry). That he's a bit like Hyunsu seeing Eunyoo during that time.... I need that.

I think that's about the least of my thoughts so far! If you have questions or headcannons to share, I'd love to hear them. I promise I'll draw about it very soon! 😭

Okay maybe I'm crazy but did anyone point out that when Jae-Heon lost his dark blue/black jacket Sang-Wook got one really similar ?? He def doesn't have it at some points but 100% loses it when Sang-Wook starts to wear the same kind of jacket

Idk if I'm sick but the coincidence is HERE and if I wanna hc Jae-Heon gave his jacket to Sang-Wook I will

ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤFirst part of “Memories of a lost body”.

ㅤ ㅤ Sweet Home 2 • Short One-shot.

Pairing: Pyeon Sangwook/Jung Jaeheon (really implicit).

Rating: Teen and Up audiences.

Characters: Pyeon Sangwook, Jung Jaeheon, Cha Hyunsu, Jung UiMyeong.

Tags: Angst, Amnesia, Past relationship.

Summary: A small talk between Hyunsu, who has lost his memory, and Ui-myeong in Sangwook's body who cannot escape from his emotions and memories.

“I know you can't remember anything, but doesn't the name "Jaeheon" sound familiar?”

Both Sangwook and Hyunsu were in the same car, the younger one had no idea where they were going, he had been a manipulable piece since his memory vanished and followed this stranger. Sangwook, who was no longer himself, but an amalgam of a dead body and the soul of a monster, was the one leading Hyunsu down the path of survival.

The only thing that interested him was his power, at least that is what he had in mind, because he knew that this young man would manage to perfect it and become a weapon against the greedy humanity. That was becoming extinct.

But there was something in his head that would not leave him alone.

“Hyunsu... ” he called his attention while keeping his eyes straight ahead.

The boy looked at him with that emotionless expression on his face.

“Yes?”

“I know you can't remember anything, but doesn't the name "Jaeheon" sound familiar?”

A silence formed between them, as the boy thought, his mind had been blank for a while and no matter how hard he tried, there were no memories there.

But there were emotions, in fact, Hyunsu could only feel something with that name.

Sadness.

“No, I can't remember," said the young man, "But for some reason.... I feel he was someone important.”

“Is there a special reason?”

“I feel like I could cry just thinking his name.”

Sangwook is silent, also thinking, not that he shares the feeling of sadness. He has no attachment to the memories of this body, he doesn't care about them either, but Jaeheon's name is in his mind without.

He believes it is the same man he sees in his dreams or disconnections with the body, where the memories of the host attack and unsettle him. That bespectacled man, not so tall, with a kind smile and gentle eyes.

He has memories where he talks to him about God, that they spent something together, but it is blurry and frustrating to chase the thought. He has hit his head more than once to forget it.

“Why do you ask?”

Sangwook is silent for a bit as he thinks of a suitable answer.

“The owner of this body had a connection to him, but he wasn't among the survivors when I arrived in the building, so.... I don't know who he is.”

“And how do you know his name?”

“He repeats it too much in his head, in pain and sadness, he does it to take away my control.”

Hyunsu looks at him.

“Jaeheon must be really special, he seems to be getting you off your rocker.”

Silence again.

“It doesn't matter if you can't remember.”

This is my first post on Tumblr! Although I've been on the platform for three years, I'm just starting to get the hang of it and since I want to interact more with an audience that's interested in kdramas fanfics, I'm going to use it more often. I'll post the second part of this One-shot shortly! I'm very excited to see how it was received.
