Please stop using OCD as an adjective. You're just contributing to the idea that mental illness(in this case OCD) is sth completely normal and even A QUIRK. The fact that there are people who are at this moment facing OCD that appears in the forms of overthinking and intrusive thoughts and don't know that they have OCD because yall make it seem as sth quirky is painful. Those people need help AND THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW IT.
So please before using ignorant terms such as I'm so OCD or I also have a liiiiitle bit of OCD or whatever think about the effects that these words can have on people and their perception of mental illness
I've heard people say a lot of times that what we think matters and our thoughts reflect our personality. It is not true. Our brain has capacity beyond anything else that we know so ofc it is going to think stuff that are beyond our moral capacity or physical capacity. Just don't think a lot
"You don't have to believe every single thought that tumbles through your head just because it sounds like you talking. sometimes all you can do is say good night and tuck your demons into bed because they're not worth fighting" the crane wives, turn out the lights
a nectar-feeding insect with two pairs of large, typically brightly coloured wings that are covered with microscopic scales. Butterflies are distinguished from moths by having clubbed or dilated antennae, holding their wings erect when at rest, and being active by day.
Brenthis ino is a medium-sized butterfly with a wingspan of 34–42 millimetres (1.3–1.7 in). Females are larger and usually darker than males. The antennae are clavate (club shaped). The basic color of the upper side of the wings is orange with several dark brown blotches. The edges are brown too, with a discontinuous stripe of small blotches
Junonia coenia, known as the common buckeye or buckeye, is a butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. It is found in the United States east of the Rocky Mountains and in Mexico.
Papilio polyxenes, the black swallowtail, American swallowtail or parsnip swallowtail, is a butterfly found throughout much of North America. It is the state butterfly of Oklahoma and New Jersey. An extremely similar-appearing species, Papilio joanae, occurs in the Ozark Mountains region, but it appears to be closely related to Papilio machaon, rather than P. polyxenes. The species is named after the figure in Greek mythology, Polyxena, who was the youngest daughter of King Priam of Troy.
Pieris rapae is a small- to medium-sized butterfly species of the whites-and-yellows family Pieridae. It is known in Europe as the small white, in North America as the cabbage white or cabbage butterfly, on several continents as the small cabbage white, and in New Zealand as the white butterfly.
Colias philodice, the common sulphur or clouded sulphur, is a North American butterfly in the family Pieridae, subfamily Coliadinae.
Idk why but these pictures give me a lot of happiness. Just generally art and ballet are such a big serotonin burst and I hope it also bursts your serotonin too
The Grim Reaper~The lord of death—a black, shrouded specter who appears when your time on earth has come to an end. Although his personality and his work are as mysterious as death itself, one thing is for certain: he’s not someone you want to meet any time soon.
Fairies~A type of mythical being or legendary creature found in the folklore of multiple European cultures (including Celtic, Slavic, German, English, and French folklore), a form of spirit, often described as metaphysical, supernatural, or preternatural.
