Day 8‼️ #30daylovechallenge MY MOTIVE... When I was a young girl there were no fashion designers that looked like me. I would watch hours of runway shows, go through hundreds of Vogue, Instyle, and Elle magazines and still no luck. I knew I wanted to be a fashion designer but no one in my small town ever heard of someone becoming a fashion designer so I had to leave Louisiana to become something I’ve never seen before. Watching this little girl’s response at the end of one of my shows was one of the most amazing feelings I’ve ever felt in my life. Now I’ve become what I wanted as a child. Day 6‼️ #30daylovechallenge When I was 5 years old I started singing with my Dad. I traveled lower Louisiana singing every time he preached. When I went to college I majored in Vocal Music Education and I won every scholarship the school offered that year for my talent. I formed a band, started traveling with them, moved to Nashville and started my first album. But everything ended when my father passed away. I lost the will to sing after he died. That was 2008. This is 10 years later during a photo shoot for my clothing line. I was overwhelmed with the creative direction for the campaign and I needed a moment to think. I turned around and saw this piano.
