GROSSOPHOBIE - vos boutiques préférées sont grossophobes (et vous aussi).
Yo.
J’espère que vous allez tous.tes très bien et que vous prenez soin de vous en cette période de refroidissement. L’Hiver est à nos portes, mais il est encore temps de profiter de la saison des couleurs.
Petit coup de gueule en ce moment.

J’ai l’air de râler souvent.
Mais gros ras-le-bol sur ses boutiques qui, derrière des bons semblants d’allié.e.s, sont grossophobes.
Je m’explique; je suis une personne grosse. No shame in that, c’est mon corps, il est fait comme ça et je l’aime. J’fais pas d’régime, j’ai pas d’diète particulière et je me mets au sport - non pas pour perdre du poids, mais pour ma santé!. **(Btw, gros.se est un adjectif. Ce n’est PAS péjoratif, alors il faut cesser de le voir comme un mot b’essant/offessant. J’y reviendrai plus tard, thi…).** Je porte des vêtements 1x/2x/3x/4x (tout dépendamment de la coupe, because for real, y’a aucun morceau qui fait pareillement …) et je trouve RAREMENT mes tailles dans les boutiques populaires (H&M, Dynamite, Zara, etc) - et ça c’est quand elles l’offrent, parce que nombre d’entre-elles n’offrent RIEN au-delà de 1x (🥲). Dans le cas présent, je cible surtout H&M (puisque j’étais-là lorsque ça m’a hit en plein visage), mais plusieurs autres boutiques sont dans le même bateau. Je dirais même qu’elles le seront toutes, tant et aussi longtemps que nos mentalités concernant les critères de beauté n’auront pas changés. M’enfin… Or donc, j’étais en boutique avec mes soeurs et, une fois en magasin, j’ai été choquée par l’absence de mes tailles en magasin. Tout bonnement. Je regarde pour des fringues. Des jeans. Un pantalon. Et rien au-delà de XXL… C’est comme ça. Dans tout le magasin. Ça m’a frappé comme une bonne claque en pleine gueule.
On a même vérifier en caisses; mais c’est catégorique. Les boutiques ne tiennent pas ses tailles en magasin. Tout simplement.
Alors voilà. Quotidien shopping d’une personne grosse : En magasin, je ne trouve pas ma taille. Je ne trouve JAMAIS ma taille. Par contre, on me les offrent sans problème en ligne (mais ô, en boutique, on nous montre des modèles plus sizes à volonter - dans les pubs aussi because on veut tellement se montrer inclusif.ve), moyennant le prix de la livraison.
…
Payer jusqu’à 10$ supplémentaire.
Rien que pour avoir MA taille.
Sans l’essayer.
Sans le voir.
…
Non? 🥲
BAH C’EST GROSSOPHOBE! N’ayons pas peur du mot! Faire payer un montant (quel qu’il soit) de plus (pour la livraison) parce qu’on offre pas toutes les tailles en magasin, c’est GROSSOPHOBE! Tout simplement. Et j’ai même pas envie d’élaborer plus sur le sujet tellement c’est DÉGUEULASSE.
Et ça, c’est quand le prix du morceau (vêtement) en question, n’est pas BOOSTÉ parce que, je cite : "bah oui, on utilise plus de textile, donc narmol de faire payer plus lolilol". 🙃 Un morceau qui a coûté 0.20$ à produire (et me lancer pas sur l’exploitation des travailleur.euse.s dans le domaine du textile, sinon je réponds plus de moi 😭) et on nous fait payer 2-3-5$ de plus! Mais …. WHAT? 🥲
Mais vous me direz; comment je suis grossophobe, moi?! C’est pas ma faute … 🙂 VOTRE ACCEPTATION de ça, qui se cautionne par le simple fait de continuer de faire des achats chez eux, ça fait de vous des complices. Ça fait de vous des gens qui acceptent ce phénomène, tout simplement. En achetant chez H&M (et encore une fois, je les cite, mais ça s’applique à toutes autres boutiques n’offrant pas le Plus Size en magasin), vous encouragez leur comportement grossophobe.
Vous voulez aider les gros.se.s? Gueuler aussi fort qu’elleux. Dénoncer, vous aussi. Arrêter d’y acheter des fringues (allez en friperie et/ou échanger des vêtements avec vos ami.e.s). Participer à la dénonciation de la grossophobie dans la vie de tous les jours. Dénoncer les propos grossophobes de votre entourage. Cette phrase : "Non, mais t’es pas gros.se; t’es super joli.e!"… that’s a BIG no. 🥲
Être gros, c’est pas un défaut.
C’est un adjectif.
Rien de plus.
