What. What is this. Why. How. What were they told to do. What is the context. Why is Donald wearing those glasses. Why is Danny posing like that. Why is Chevy the center piece. Why is Alison choking Danny. Why is Gillian dressed fancier than everyone else (as she should tho, she ate). Why is Joel so far back. What.
If we win regionals, then it's straight on to sectionals. And then a week later is semis. Then semiregionals. Then regional-semis. Then national lower-zone semis!
Oh. But I kinda thought this was … You know. Just for Christmas.
No, no, no! This is forever. This is what we do now. This is who we are.
I just watched a deep dive video about Community and they mentioned that the empty 8th chair is actually for the audience and Yvette confirmed this at a con and said something along the lines of "fans have always been the 8th member of the study group". We are a part of the group and that makes me tear up a bit tbh.
In the totally reasonable number of commentaries I have watched though Yvette Nicole Brown seems so nice she keeps pointing out other actors including extras and saying how good they were and what nice people they are and she seemed a bit upset with herself when she couldn't remember an extra's name
*walks out of the room, closes the door and screams*
Actually though, why? Why are they taking it away? So that they can add some mediocre been-done-100-times romcom about a white girl and her conventionally attractive white male love interest?
