It seems like life has been kicking Sarah's ass lately. It's been at least three months since she decided she'd overstayed her welcome at Casey's place and had reserved her old room at the hotel. Not that she's actually been spending much of her time there. She's in castle at all hours. Her sleep schedule is royally fucked, it's practically nonexistent. But she's good at running on fumes. She can last through being overtired. It's not something that'll throw her for a loop.

So, that's what she assumes her headache is brought on by as she's putting her equipment away back at castle after a mission. It had been this upper crust party. She'd been in a gorgeous gown, and her weaponry had been well hidden. Chuck had been posing as her date, Casey was a bartender. He can't really sell the image of cater waiter. It had gone well. It was a complete success. They'd chatted a few people up, kept it charming and brief. Shared a few dances with some people. They got in and they got out with what they'd been looking for.

And now that she's not in work mode, everything seems to be catching up with her. The exhaustion that seems to be seeping bone deep, and the headache that just keeps building with everything she does. She's almost all the way packed up, and she's planning to head back to the hotel, pop an aspirin and sleep it off. But she's faced with an unexpected interruption.

Castle is like a revolving door these days. With so many people in on Chuck's secret, Morgan, Ellie, Awesome, it really could be a who's who of people coming down the stairs. But she's still surprised to see Winn coming down, especially this late.

Everything on that front has been slow going. She's kept her distance, she's just Chuck's coworker. The agent that helped to rescue Winn after Kami's little stunt. And she's passed on invites to events that she figures Winn would be at. It's just too hard, and she doesn't want to push her presence on him to try and force some kind of memory out of him. And Ellie has hit a bit of a standstill with the Intersect glasses. At least, that's what she's been hearing when she checks in.

But she still knows how to be polite, that hasn't gone anywhere. Even with her lack of sleep.

"Hey Winn." She says, a pleasant smile in place as she grabs her hoodie from the back of one of the rolling chairs. "If you’re looking for Chuck, I think he’s in the armory with Casey.”

The two of them had been talking about something, disagreeing is probably the right word for it. She couldn’t say what it was about. She was trying to block them out as she was dealing with the beginning stages of this migraine. But it’s not an uncommon enough occurrence for Chuck and Casey to be disagreeing. It’s just their thing.

First of all, that chapter was so hot, omg. I both hated and loved reading this before I got up for work because now it's gonna be in my mind all day

Second, the note at the end that said "did anyone notice what Matt may have forgotten to do?"...I was too busy thinking about Jane absolutely wrecking Matt that I totally forgot Matt was supposed to use the night of the gala to prep his opening starement for Frank's trial

And now I'm nervously awaiting the fallout that might still happen between him and Foggy, and the possibility of Matt not giving Jane the attention she needs with these insecurities and hurt since he'll probably be in extreme panic mode

As always, you have me on the edge of my seat, absolutely desperate for the next chapter
