[ASCII Art, Patriarchy, and Glitch Art disruption]
Ascii art, with its dependence on characters to create visual representations, became a popular form of art in the early years of the internet. However, the circulation of ASCII art featuring female nudes reflected a problematic and enduring trend: the objectification of female bodies for the male gaze.
This trend is a symptom of a larger issue: patriarchy in new media. The internet, like many other fields, are heavily influenced by a male-dominated power structure that perpetuates the glorification of the male gaze. Female nudes became a tool for this gaze in Internet culture, which was initially dominated by male participants. The circulation of ASCII art featuring the female nude was a clear example of the patriarchy's dominance in early internet art culture.
However, Italian glitch artist Domenico Barra challenged this notion. Barra's use of glitch artifacts in his art disrupted the objectification of female nudes present in early internet Ascii Art. By manipulating Ascii symbols, Barra transformed these images in a manner that broke them down. In doing so, he subverted the traditional influence of the male gaze and objectification of female nudes.
Barra's rebellious approach underscores the need to challenge existing artistic practices that perpetuate harmful stereotypes and biases. His work reminds us that creativity should be employed to disrupt such stereotypes instead of perpetuating them. Ultimately, it is only by rejecting established norms and critically examine the work of artists that we can truly arrive at progress in the world of art.

And as a result, I got the lyrics to the song. I then fed that text to Suno AI and it added music and voice and returned me some audio files. I edited them in Sony Vegas and got a full song. Enjoy.
