I was having an anxiety attack so I imagined Vanilla holding me close to his chest going, "Shhhhhhh...." And calming me down. Then he kisses me on the top of the head and rubs my back. He lets me shake and cry and hold onto him while he hugs me and tells me everything will be okay 💙💜

mutuals download seek the app seek and come over and walk around and identify plants and bugs and fungi with me. the app can identify birds and other animals too but they're a little harder to identify cuz you have to get kind of close and get a good angle for the app to identify it. and if you get too close to, say, a cardinal, it's gonna fly away and you won't be able to get a good enough picture of it. but we should walk around. and look at mostly plants. and also get merlin and we can identify bird calls. while we're at it.

#I DID THIS RECENTLY. with one of my moms.#i was having a shit ass trash ass day from hell. day from HELL! from h e double hockey sticks.#and i got her to download seek + we walked around her neighborhood and identified plants #i go over there kind of a lot but once we started looking at flowers #we started noticing trees too. and then the bugs on the flowers. and the mushrooms growing on the tree. and how #beautiful all of them were #and the sun was starting to set and the fireflies made their entrance it was so wonderful #and we walked around and talked about how she's trying to set up two of her friends #and we walked by a house with a light on on the second story. and an open window #and someone very earnestly practicing what i think was a viola?#and right next to their house was a kind of unkempt rose bush #but i walked past it and it smelled so sweet. just how i remember #and i was like HEY!!! come back over here!!!!! you need to actually stop and smell these roses!!!!!#and we did! and it was better. i felt better #ANYWAYS. MUTUALS COME OVER AND LETS DO THAT

there's something so powerful/overwhelming about revisiting the neighborhood you spent several of your formative years in as a grown-up...

#thinking about the passenger. also about my own experience with that #the first time i took a walk around that neighborhood a couple years back ALL THE FORGOTTEN MEMORIES CAME RUSHING BACK #all at once and i felt so small and young and so old and tired at the same time. remembered everything that happened #and i swear i almost broke down and cried several times #remembering things you haven't thought about but that affect you still to this day really zaps your brain

#i ordered a used book off of ebay and it came with an envelope of coupon cards telling me i can get a percentage off of online food service #orders... it came with my book. off ebay.#today i opened google docs and got a pop up congratulating me for being one of the lucky ones picked for trying out their new AI software #on my walks around my neighborhood there are several houses that Scream at me saying 'hi you are being recorded' there are houses with #three of them that all desperately scream over each other because im just fucking walking trying to enjoy what little nature i can get #i feel like i'm being fucking hunted down for sport by the horrors of technology #like are you fucking with me #they keep making up new ways to invade any peace of mind i can get

every time i see a picture of a place with really heavy fog i get so emotional because i just wanna walk through it so so so bad i love fog so much........

#back in like 2015 or something i was living with some friends #and one night it got so foggy that you could barely see a few feet in front of you #and i just went out into the middle of the street at like 2AM and just stood there for a long time surrounded by fog #and cried because i felt so calm and comfortable. i wanna experience that again so badly #there was also one time when i was like 12 or 13 and i took a nap on the couch #and when i woke up there was so much fog outside that when i looked out the sliding glass back doors #it looked like the house was just in a white void. it was really cool #and in like 2013 ? we lived somewhere that got really foggy pretty often so i'd go take long walks around the neighborhood when it did #i miss it so much :( someone please take me somewhere foggy and walk with me lmao
