Theory time! (again)

What if Hobie also have powers that most spider-people don't?

When I first saw the this scene I thought it was supposed to symbolise Hobie havning a similar power to Miles, as he was able to break the barrier when the other spider-people couldn't! (Though this could also be because Miles loosened it like he mentioned himself!)

Having watched the movie several times now I'm not as convinced that this is the case, BUT it would also explain how Hobie knew that Miles could use his powers more efficiently if he used his palms and not just his fingers; if Hobie had a similar power he would know how it works!

(Another theory could be that Hobie is using a shockwave from his guitar to break the shield like shown when he introduces himself, though he also appears to have some giant speakers behind him in that scene).

ALSO: At first I thought it was just part of the way Hobie was animated, but I heard someone mention it in a youtube video and now I wanna bring it up too:

If we look at the first GIF of him telling Miles to use his palms we can clearly see him suddenly appear much closer to Miles than before!

And in the next shot he appears to be back where he stood before! He actually does something similar another time:

I did not remove anything between these scenes, Hobie literally goes from lying on his back to behind the corner (top left) in a second. And once Peter B appears he's now behind Miles and Gwen (who have both turned 180 degrees to face Peter!) (I uploaded the video to better show what I mean)

Again this might purely be due to the way he's animated and the fact that he doesn't believe in consistency but I think it's fun to speculate nonetheless!

Soo, I decided to look at whats in my Amazon cart after scrolling and adding for a minute and uhm.

...three pairs of Crowley sunglasses. I added THREE PAIRS OF CROWLEY SUNGLASSES TO MY CART. The part of me that claims I'm more like Aziraphale (that part is a liar btw because I already know that Crowley is like my ADHD and Aziraphale is like my autism) is screaming and crying huddled in a corner, but I WANT THEM- also dont ask about the lanyard lol, I'm a teacher in training and I want it.

I'm kinda high and thinkin about how much I love my belly. I don't really want to gain past 200, but I love how round it is. I love that my belly is big. I know it isn't good for me, but this kink has made me love my belly. If I'm being honest, I used to eat a lot as a kid but I hit my growth spurt quickly. As I've gotten older, I started being a little hedonistic at times. I'd try to do it in secret. When I was younger, I ate two big heaps of spaghetti and I might have had bread, too. I did it on purpose because I wanted to see what it felt like. I was huge that night and I fell in love with my stuffed tummy. I'm being really vulnerable rn, but I feel like this is a safe place for me to speak. You guys have been so encouraging and I'm so happy to have you. One of these days (when I have the money), I want to rent out an Airbnb by myself and stuff on something. I think I need a lil me time to sort out my feelings, but I also am very happy you guys are here for the ride 💜

Now that I think about It, why did almost everyone assume that Undyne is gonna appear in chapter 3?? I mean Toriel did call the police, but Napstablook is also part of the police, so maybe they're gonna be the one that shows Up?

I think it would make sense since they are related to Mettaton, the one who is a TV star in Undertale, though not in Deltarune...

The reference i'm using for this outfit has this waist bit in the coat that mimicks the look of a corset. Now I'm laughing at the idea of wearing a corset-looking decoration over an actual corset (which is Nela's default underwear for reasons i've shared before).

I am feeling rather emotional because in the ABSURD disorganised garbage pile that is my computer, I’ve found an old folder created a few years ago full of unfinished WIPs that I forgot existed... Because Blo0db0rne took my life completely + I have an awful memory

These are characters from Undertale that I really liked, and I used to have a habit of drawing characters with flowers! (using Japanese flowers language every time because that one is the most accurate and well-thought and subtle)

And I completely forgot about this WIP, but I really wanted to finish it back then..

An even better one... A kind of sketch that doesn’t even need lining and coloring, it is already very clean and good!

...Okay, this is just heartbreaking now. At this rate I should switch from BB to ER just for the sake of drawing large variety of plant life, it was my forte I can say x)

They are from Kirby! Bardiche, Aranora and Dag Goedendague - the inverted versions of Francisca, Flamberge and Zan Partizanne! I used to be very very very into the inverted/reverse/mirror/whatever concept of Kirby characters, but I ended up being very disappointed in the whole ordeal. Like... Why spending so much time and effort into completely inverting canon characters? But back then it was a design+writing exercise that got out of hand, and honestly, some designs ended up soooooo good that they would fit well for original characters! Like, look at how STYLISH weapons of these girls are?

THESE people!!!!They were a product of the ‘different mirrors’ complication, when I decided that parallel versions are separate, so are Black Mirror vs Dimensional Mirror ones. I like Zarantul’s palette so much though?

Gijinka Susie! A more soft, more cartooney style definitely allowed me to draw human characters way better. Plus my brain was in a better shape, hehe. Brain is a tool of an artist as much as their hand and their pen.

Unfinished beach time picture with Holy Nightmare corp! I would actually, legitimately finish this one because spikes in art style don’t count with simple designs like Kirby, but I am just waaaaay too far drifted from Kirby times. (miss them dearly)

Shiver Star fun times with random characters. It was actually a commission from someone - ‘draw anyone you want on Shiver Star’, that I was unable to finish in reasonable time. I sent money back to that person, but they REFUSED despite me failing them, and told me to keep it. o_o” Nothing I was able to do since they were not accepting transfer, but I hope wherever they are, they no longer play an altruist like this. Still feel guilty.

CONCLUSION: Fandom shifts are a bitch and I weep for my unfinished drawings (I didn’t even share all of them), I will never know peace again because I am more natural at colorful and round things but Soulsborne is grim and detailed, I need to reuse cool ideas that were spent on the whole ‘what if this character was nothing like themselves XDDD’ ordeal and also... flowers.

Okay I ended up rewatching Step Up 3 again yesterday and let me tell ya: this movie contradicts itself on when Moose and Camille met and became friends.

Camille says they grew up together and have been childhood friends. She says this right after her two friends think she and Moose are dating, and Moose has to leave for the first battle. Camille literally specifies that it'd be weird because they grew up together.

Later on in this SAME movie, when Moose is trying to make up and be friends with Camille again, he hears a song and specifically says "MSA freshman year, we met to this song".

Freshman year doesn't sound like knowing each other since they were kids! The characters themselves don't even know when they met lmao

I did another AI generated character today

I’ll be honest, for a while I was struggling with what to name her, since I was gonna go for another blueberry name, and her hair looked closer to ice cream but I can’t use the name Blueberrry Ice Cream Cookie since it’s already taken by another character. Then I was planning on naming her after yogurt, until I realized that her hair looks more like frosting, so I settled with naming her after that. It was gonna be something like Snow Frosting Cookie, but after finishing the picture, her hair’s not very snowy, just blue, so I settled with Blue Frosting Cookie

In terms of personality she’s probably a lot more active than Powder Blue, and more of a fighter, though again she’s magic based. The picture shown here would be her grabbing her cloak to go and fight something

She gives me vibes similar to Blue Lily Cookie. If she’s in a pair with Powder Blue then I guess that would make Powder Blue more like Lilybell, except not as cheerful and more reserved, and Blue Frosting would be more a older sister/bodyguard to her

I also feel like her hair kind of reminds me of Pastry Cookie and potentially others from the St Pastry Order, but she’s not part of it. Perhaps though she used to be a part of it, but left because of the way it operated? I dunno, just some potential lore for this random character
