So recently I’m new to the Genshin fandom and I’ve noticed that I share a birthday with Childe….how do you think SAGAU Childe and Foul Legacy would react to sharing a birthday with there creator?

oh my goodness that's so cool!!! there aren't any genshin characters that share my birthday, but maybe one day,,,,,

Childe and Foul Legacy would both be incredibly honored to share your birthday! Childe is the one who mentions it, idly telling you that he'll be away for a few days to celebrate his birthday, only to gasp when you respond with "Oh cool, our birthdays are on the same day", grabbing and shaking you by the shoulders as he asks you to pretty please repeat what you just said. when you confirm you swear his eyes become stars with how much they sparkle, if only in your presence, before he pulls you away to celebrate. he wants to shower you in gifts and festivities- you are his Creator, after all- but you gently ask to have a quieter day with just the two of you, which would be the greatest gift of all in your eyes, and with a blush on his face and a smile across his lips, Childe agrees

he does get you a gift, though- something small, something sweet, something that truly shows how honored he is to be by your side

Foul Legacy doesn't really understand birthdays- or at least, he doesn't hold his own birthday in high regard. his whole life before you was spent fighting, tearing away at a starless sea before finally clawing his way into the light. to be honest, he barely even remembers when his shared birthday with Childe is until you happen to bring it up, his wings fluttering when you tell him happy birthday. Legacy's never really celebrated his birthday, so he nudges you happily and goes along with whatever you want to do, which usually involves sneaking outside and dodging all the people who keep trying to grab your attention and worship you. luckily all the mountains of Liyue are open access to you, since you and the Adepti get along quite well (they understand your position and want for solitude), so you'll spend an entire day in the mountains together, you in Legacy's arms and him hugging you close

he picks a flower that he thinks you'll like, a gorgeous glaze lily, and with a chuckle you take it from him and tuck it behind his horns

oh my moon and stars just imagine you hear a jingle jingle jingle and suddenly you're tackled by an Abyss moth

listen, it's not a bad thing that Foul Legacy likes fighting the monsters outside- quite the contrary, actually. it gives him exercise and a means of practicing his techniques... but you will admit that seeing hilichurl corpses every time you step outside is just a little unsettling. so, you compromise- every other day Foul Legacy can hunt and maim the monster population to his content, but the next day, he must wear the bells. they're simple things, just two round bells attached to ribbons that you can tie into small bows around his horns, but they lightly jingle and ring whenever he moves, not loud enough to bother him but not quiet enough to be considered silent. of course, Legacy pouts and whines when you tie the bells around his horns, shaking his head and stubbornly burying his face into your shoulder. you can't help but poke the bells, a smile spreading across your face when the gentle ringing slowly transitions Legacy's huffs to small, happy chitters

the bells also admittedly help him in not startling you so often. for an enormous Abyss monster, Foul Legacy has surprisingly silent steps, most likely from stalking other beasts in the depths beneath the sea, so he's scared you to death several times from sneaking up behind you for a hug. but now, with the bells, you can hear him jingling from several feet away, the quiet ringing growing louder as he happily pounces on your, snuggling his face against the back of your neck with a delighted purr. on the other hand, he does eventually learn how to move without sounding the bells- not quick enough to hunt, but still enough to sneak up on you from behind... he thinks it's very funny, trilling and curling around you gleefully <3

Hello, I was simply imagining decorating a Christmas tree with our beloved moth boy, or also buying him a Christmas present. I don't know, I just want a Merry Christmas...

Really where I live you don't really feel the Christmas spirit at all, it's kind of depressing to be honest 😔

aaaaaa my dear i'm giving you the biggest hug :((( if this helps, i hope you have a very merry christmas this year!!!!

i can imagine you getting a little tree for your house :DD something small, since you and Foul Legacy need the room, but still big enough to be decorated!! i feel like Childe's family was always pretty into holiday festivities, especially once he joined the Fatui because that's usually when he comes home!! this year though, he's not home- he's with you, which is even better!!! since you live alone the holidays aren't nearly as rambunctious, they're more peaceful, quieter, your soft smile illuminating every corner of the house. you tug him over to decorate the little tree, the ornaments you have set out and displayed for choice. although there's only a few of them, they're elegant and clearly precious to you, so Childe holds them as delicately as he possibly can with those sharp claws of his, helping you decide which ones to hang where

if you get Childe a gift, no matter how small you think it is, he's over the moon. he loooves getting gifts for his siblings, but because he's away from home a lot no one really gets stuff for him- which he doesn't mind!! spending time with loved ones is enough for him- but the fact that you took time out of your day to get and wrap something for him makes his heart absolutely melt. you'll see him staring at the gift, gently poking the ribbon and fluttering his wings happily when it shifts. there's not much in terms of items that he can get for you, since he dislikes going into the city, but he'll make sure to lavish you with affection whenever you're home, even more than usual!! it's his way of saying thank you :))

also if you're wrapping other gifts he'll let you tie a bow around his horns :D
