These two mobster-wannabe petty crooks are my favourites from Palm Town although I also really like Rolley and Lamb. Yota is older and looks really mean, but he's easily duped by a sob story and has a HUGE soft spot for orphans and exploited kids. Guta has plush cat called Mi-chan that he can't sleep without. Yota threw away a supposedly cursed plant he thought would make him rich because money wasn't worth losing his little bro. They are so cute.

Temporary death of my heart when I was watching it.This made me so happy you have no idea Moment: Konatsu and Kiku finally making up. All the moments he felt happy doing rakugo. And the very ending.Saddest Moment: Konatsu’ fights with Kiku. Kiku meeting the ghost in the cemetery. The Seventh Generation Yakumo’s story (it’s when i cried for the first time watching this show). My Top 10 Favorite Males from Winter 2017.

Let me first start off by saying this was a WEAK season for awesome male characters. Aside from the Top 5 in this list, the other 5 are basically fill in characters. Characters who I enjoyed but any other season would not even be considered.

10. Homeroom Teacher (Gabriel Dropout) He was funny at points, especially towards Satania and Gabriel. The Halloween episode had me rolling.

9. Cafe Master (Gabriel Dropout) His love for coffee was pretty funny. Also his different interactions with each girl was pretty funny as well.

8. Kazuya Nachi (Fuuka) I always liked Nachi even in the Manga, so he just makes the list for everything he’s done.

7. Satake Yusuke (Demi-Chan wa Kataritai!) Satake was more relevent towards the end of the anime. He made me laugh which is always a plus, but he had me crying in the last episode when he fell out of that tree.

6. Tamotsu Denkigai (Akiba’s Trip The Animation) Pretty cool MC if you ask me. Just his different experiences in each episode was pretty funny.

5. Yota ( Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu: Sukeroku Futatabi-hen) Yota, man what a guy. Since he was more relevant in season two then season one he needed to make the list. Just having that passion to do Rakugo was an inspiration. Then just seeing him overcome so many obstacles. He loved Konatsu, yet she barely wanted anything to do with him. He helped her raise her Child and basically took him in as his own. He was dealing with all the Mafia stuff which he had to overcome. The dude was just put through the ringer this season, then top it off with...well No Spoilers but for those who watched the series we know what he had to deal with in the end.

4. Kojuurou Shuri (Masamune-kun no Revenge) One of the few characters in this anime that wasn’t a jerk at one point! Kojuurou was a pretty awesome character even as a trap. he just made me laugh for some of the random things he did. Like eating a whole birthday cake for lunch lol. I wish the anime would have developed him more because he became more interesting towards the end of the anime, especially after he took interest in a certain female character. Again no spoilers but for those who know...you know what I mean.

3. Takiya Makoto (Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon) Underrated character. Serious Takiya made me laugh constantly. Especially when he went Otaku mode for the first time. I seriously could not stop laughing. After those first couple of episode he unfortunately became somewhat irrelevant, however once Fafnir started living with him, damn it became one hell of a bromance! There interactions were pretty special, and hilarious at times. The Comiket episode was fantastic.

2. Fafnir (Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon) Fafnir falls into the same category as Takiya. Honestly they’re really 2, and 2A, but alas this is a top 10 list, and not a top 9 and a half list. I did like Fafnir slightly more just because he was a Dragon. Well a Dragon who took shit to seriously and to the next level lol. His love for games was something I really enjoyed considering he really wanted to kill all humans in the beginning of the series. Again once he started living with Takiya he came so much cooler. When he asked Takiya about the curry and Takiya already knew his preference I was like “Damn man! BROS!!!!” Then little things, like bringing in the laundry during the rain, I was like ‘Alright Fafnir, you’re pretty freaking awesome!”

1. Takahashi Tetsuo (Demi-Chan wa Kataritai!) This wasn’t even a contest, Takahashi sensei has been my favorite mae character since the beginning. I knew from the start he would be my favorite. He is honestly what most males should strive to become. A nice, and caring person. I was impressed at how he put the Demi’s problems or situations at a higher priority to solve, then for him to do his research. One scene in particular was when Yuuki was being bullied. He noticed that her tears turned to Ice, which definitly peaked his interest, as we found out later, but his thought process was “Okay what can I do to protect this girl and reassure her that everything is alright.” Like damn man are you kidding me?!?!?! What a guy!!!! Also he’s ripped as hell! My god if I could have half the body he does I’d be content!
