This was inspired by a few minutes of a live of theirs I saw. Specifically, Jongwoo being cuddly with Yedam.

Like imagine being Yedam 😩🥹

(Y/n)’s POV
Jongwoo has always been very open with skinship, whether holding hands, hugging, having his arm around my waist, or kissing. He doesn’t care if we’re out in public, hanging out with friends, or home alone. Jongwoo always tells me whenever I point it out to him that he just wants to show his love for me. I love how confident he is and I love how he wraps his arms around me, it brings me comfort and makes me happy. But it also makes me a bit shy when he does it in front of others.
“(Y/n)-ah,” I was sitting on the couch talking with Jay, one of Jongwoo’s closest friends, who has also become one of my closest friends. Jay and I had been talking for about 15 minutes or so, caught in a discussion over which Harry Potter book was the best. And I guess Jongwoo had taken notice of the lack of attention on him from my side. He sat down beside me, saying my name, but he received no answer as I was busy arguing with Jay on whether or not The Order of the Phoenix was or was not the best book.
“Baby?,” Jongwoo whined as he poked my cheek. “Not now Woo,” I said before I returned my focus to Jay. “Mmm, (Y/n), my love?” Jongwoo draped his arms around me, now embracing me in a back hug. He rested his head on my shoulder as he continued whining.
“I guess we’ll have to continue this discussion some other time,” Jay said as he chuckled. “No, come on, you scared of realizing I’m right?” I teased back. “Nah, I’m definitely right, but I’m actually scared Jongwoo’s going to tackle me with the way he’s glaring at me,” Jay continued laughing as he moved his gaze from me to my boyfriend before he got off the couch going to talk with some of our other friends.
“Jongwoo, Jay is your best friend, you shouldn’t glare at him, or anyone else for that matter,” He was still hugging me from behind as I lectured him. “Mm, but he shouldn’t steal all your attention,” “Yoon Jongwoo, you have my attention 24/7,” “I didn’t just now, Jay had it,” “Idiot, yeah I was talking to Jay for 15 minutes,” “Mm, but I’m your idiot,”
Jongwoo eased his grip on me, allowing me to turn around so that we were facing one another. He was smiling even though he tried to pretend to pout. “Yes, you are my idiot. My clingy, handsome, talented, idiot,” I leaned in and gave him a quick peck on the lips. “Hey, I want a real kiss,” “Mm, you’ll have to catch me then,” I said as I quickly stood up from the couch and began running away with Jongwoo hot on my heels.
“Seongmin, help me,” I ran over to Seongmin and Yedam, hiding behind the taller of the two as I laughed, the two boys laughing just as much as they saw Jongwoo running over. “We’ll hold him back, run for your life (Y/n),” Yedam said as he and Seongmin tried to hold Jongwoo back. I continued running, trying to find a good place to hide, I ran into the kitchen and found Tag sitting on the counter eating some pineapples. “Hey Tag, do you know of a good place to hide?” “Running from the teddy bear or what?” “Correct!” “You should hide in Jongwoo’s room, he wouldn’t think of looking there,” He helped me sneak out of the kitchen and into Jongwoo’s room. “Thanks, Tag,” “No problem, I’ll do anything to mess with him,”
It took about 5 minutes until Jongwoo opened the door to his room, panting from running around. I wasn’t hiding as I sat on his bed, he smiled widely when he saw me. Jongwoo literally pounced at me, jumping into bed, and tackling me in a tight hug. “You owe me a kiss,” “Kiss me then,” He leaned in and gave me a long passionate kiss. Ending it by kissing me on the nose.
“I’m sorry, I know I’m clingy and annoying,” “I love your clinginess, Jongwoo. I also like messing with you, like running around like this. And you’re not annoying, you’re cute,” “How about we stay in here and watch a movie? leaving the others to continue the party,” “That sounds perfect, but only if you promise to cuddle with me,” I said in a teasing tone. “Wouldn’t have it any other way,” Jongwoo leaned down once more, giving me another kiss. He then got up to start the TV and put on a movie. Hurrying back to continue cuddling with me.
Jongwoo sat down with his back against the headboard, pulling me closer so that I sat between his legs with my back rested against his chest. Jongwoo instantly put his arms around me once I had sat down in a comfortable position. We sat like that for a good 20-30 minutes, before Jongwoo began kissing my neck and blowing on my ears. “Jongwoo!” I exclaimed as he tickled me with his breath. “I love you,” He said as he proceeded to plant more kisses on my neck and intertwine our hands together. I turned my head to look up at him, his signature lovesick smile on his lips as he looked down at me. “I love you too,” I smiled back at him as he leaned down, planting yet another kiss on my lips.

Jongwoo’s POV
There was barely any traffic out, yet I kept going slower and slower. Wishing that every light would be red, all so I could have just one more minute with (Y/n). She was singing along to the radio as I drove, her voice was loud and a bit off-pitch, yet to me, it sounded like an angel. (Y/n) was smiling as she sang and danced around in the car, my heart was beating so loud I thought it would burst out of my chest. I thought she’d be tired after spending the entire day with me and our friends, but (Y/n) seemed to have more energy than ever.
“Oh WOO! Can we stop and buy ice cream? Please,” The way her eyes sparkled and the warmth of her hand on my arm made it impossible to say no, not that I would have. “Of course,” Being in love with your best friend isn’t easy, especially when your best friend isn’t in love with you. I would do anything for her. She was the sun in my sky. (Y/n) is like a warm blanket on a cold winter day. I parked the car outside the store, (Y/n) was out of the car and running to the store before I even got my seatbelt off.
“Ya, wait for me,” “Hurry up, Woo!” I jogged to catch up with her, a wide smile on my lips. As I got inside the store, I quickly found (Y/n) standing by the ice cream contemplating what to get. I snuck up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist, giving her a back hug. We often did coupley acts like this, but we’re just friends. To me, these moments were everything. I kept thinking of them for days after they happened, dreaming of how it would be to call (Y/n) my girlfriend. However, to her, I’m just her best friend who likes hugs. “I don’t know whether I want (flavor a) or (flavor b),” “How about we get one of each and share them?” “Would you be fine with that?” “Of course, I like both of those flavors,” “But, (flavor c) is your favorite,” (Y/n) looked up at me with an adorable, and very kissable, pout. “I’m not feeling (flavor c) today, (flavor a) and (flavor b) sound much better,” “You’re the best Jongwoo!” A beautiful smile stretched across her lips as she picked up one of each flavor before she skipped over to the counter. I joined her after getting some other snacks, knowing this was far from the end of our night together.
After I paid for everything, much to (Y/n)’s dismay, we returned to the car. (Y/n) ripped open one of the ice creams to begin eating it, I opened the other one but before I could take a bite/lick it/whatever, (Y/n) took it and gave me the one she had already tasted. I chuckled at the act, all too used to it. We sat in silence, sharing the ice cream, for a few minutes until (Y/n) squealed. “Woo, did I tell you about the guy I’m going on a date with tomorrow?” My heart sank at the thought, that someone else could be dating her. I answered, lowly, not really wanting to hear about it, “Uhm, no, I don’t think so,” “Okay, so his name is Zhang Hao, and he’s really cute and funny,” (Y/n) continued telling me everything she knew about this guy, I had to admit, he sounded a lot better than other guys she’s dated, but he wasn’t me.
The more she spoke about this guy, the more jealous I felt, I wanted to tell (Y/n) how much I loved her. But I can’t. “I just wish he treats as good as you do, Jongwoo,” I couldn’t hold myself back anymore, I leaned in, put a hand on one of her cheeks, I closed my eyes, and kissed her. She didn’t push me back, she didn’t resist it, but neither did she kiss me back. After a few seconds, I removed my hand from her cheek and leaned back, afraid to open my eyes. What if I just ruined everything? When I opened my eyes, (Y/n) was looking back at me, her cheeks red with a deep blush, a shocked look in her eyes.
“What?” I took a deep breath, “I love you, (Y/n). I am IN love with you,” “You’re in love with me?” “I have been for years,” (Y/n) blinked slowly as she looked down, I recognized this action, it’s what she always did when she was nervous. Her right hand came to play with the bracelet I gave her on her birthday last year, on her left wrist. “I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable, I’ll just drive you home,” (Y/n) didn’t answer, I started the car and began driving, now in complete silence. Good job, Yoon Jongwoo, you just lost your best friend. I parked the car outside of her apartment. “Are we okay?” I asked, hoping that (Y/n) would talk with me. “Jongwoo, look at me,” I immediately looked up, meeting the eyes that I loved. For a few moments, we just sat there, looking into each other’s eyes. (Y/n) seemed to be searching for something in my gaze.
I admired her eyes, the way they sparkled in the night lights. Her skin that is soft and warm. The arch of her nose, everything that is wonderful with her. All of a sudden, I felt warm and soft lips pressed against my own. I had my eyes open, shocked, but after two seconds, I closed my eyes and kissed (Y/n) back. We kissed each other multiple times, just kissing for minutes. After those minutes, I had to break away from this, I had to know what it meant.
“You’re kissing me back, what, uhm, what does that mean?” “I love you too, Jongwoo. Friends don’t call each other in the middle of the night, couldn’t even tell you why, or just to say hi. I love you, Yoon Jongwoo, you’re everything I want,” I broke out into a smile, happiness and relief filling my body, “I love you too, (L/n) (Y/n),” I leaned in and gave her another kiss, this one a bit shorter and sweeter as we both smiled into it.

Warnings: angst, sad Jongwoo, break up, self-judgment, low self-esteem, kissing, sort of describing a panic attack without calling it a panic attack, fluff,
Thank you for the request (even if my requests technically are closed at the moment), I just couldn't keep myself from writing this because I am way too in love with Jongwoo & One Pact!
Inspired by One Pact’s songs "Rush In 2 U" & "Loading"

(Y/n)’s POV
Jongwoo is the greatest boyfriend in the world, truly, he’s the best. He’s kind, caring, funny, thoughtful, he’s everything you could want not to mention he is very handsome. I was surprised when he asked me out 2 and a half years ago but I am so happy I said yes to the date. 2 years later and we’re still together. I was there to support him through Boys Planet and to comfort him when he didn’t make it to the final lineup. I was so proud of him, still am. And now, he’s going to debut with One Pact. He’s finally going to be able to live his dream, with thousands no millions of people supporting him.
Lately, I’ve been feeling like a burden to him. I feel like as long as he is with me, he can’t truly succeed, I’m holding him back. At least, that’s what I am feeling. I tried talking to him about it but as the kind soul he is, he told me that isn’t true. He says I don’t hold him back, but I can’t believe him because I see it. He’s spreading himself thin trying to balance our relationship with his idol life, it’s not fair to him for me to be selfish and stay by his side when I’m only in the way.
I contemplated what to do for weeks, I distanced myself more and more from him hoping it would help him see it too. That I am only a nuisance to him. He called and texted me probably a hundred times a day trying to reach out to me, but eventually, as I didn’t answer him, he stopped. Just thinking about it made a tear fall from my eyes.
I wanted to run to him, to hug him, hold him close, and finally feel safe once more in his strong arms. But I can’t, I have to be strong. This is what’s best for him. I sat alone in my apartment in the dark, on the cold hard floor, crying my eyes out as I tried to find the courage to break us up.
Jongwoo’s POV
Boys Planet was a challenge, but with (Y/n) by my side, it wasn’t as bad. With her I can overcome any challenge, she gives me strength, she makes me happy. She’s the sun that scares away the darkness, with her, every day feels like Christmas. I remember how happy she was for me when I told her that I would be debuting with One Pact. I think she was even happier than me and I mean, I’m the one debuting.
We celebrated by making a nice dinner together, laughing as we danced to the background music, her blushing as I whispered ‘I love you’ in her ear, and then kissed her. Those moments when it’s just her and I, are my most precious memories.
Lately, however, things haven’t been so good.
“What do you mean? Baby? (Y/n)?” “Jongwoo, I’m just holding you back, can’t you see it? I’m just in the way of your success,” I put my hands on her shoulders trying to look her in the eyes but she kept looking at the floor. I didn’t understand, why did she suddenly think she was holding me back? “(Y/n), how, I-... I don’t understand, how could you be holding me back? You’re not, please, (Y/n), please, I love you, you know that right?” Even as she looked at the floor, I could see the tears falling down her cheeks. She never wanted me to see her crying, not even happy tears, she would always look down or turn around. “I know and I love you too,” I embraced her in a tight hug, holding her as close as possible as I held back my tears. Losing her would be worse than not becoming an idol.
After that conversation I thought things would get better, however, I was wrong. Each day, (Y/n) became a little more distant than the day before. Eventually, she stopped reaching out to me, I tried to call and text her as often as I could but she rarely ever responded until she stopped completely.
“Damnit” I threw the sweatshirt I had around my shoulders down on the floor in anger as I messed up the choreography once more. I couldn’t focus, my mind was just zeroing in on the situation with (Y/n). I was breathing heavily, angry at the situation, and angry at myself to the point where I couldn’t control my feelings. “Hyung, what’s wrong?” “Yeah, what’s up man? I’ve never seen you like this before?” Seungmin and Jay approached me as they questioned my behavior. I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down a little as I sat down with the rest of the guys sitting down in a circle before me.
“I told you guys before that I have a girlfriend, right?” “Yeah, (Y/n), was it?” Yedam smiled as I nodded to him getting the name right. “She’s been my girlfriend for about 2 years now and we’ve never really had any problems during this time. She’s always supporting me in anything I do and she’s been my driving force in doing all of this. These last few weeks though, they have been different. Very different,” I looked down at the floor, trying to hold back my tears, I hated this.
“What’s been different?” Tag asked after he put his hand on my shoulder, giving me a reassuring squeeze. “She has somehow come to the conclusion that she’s holding me back and that we should break up, and no matter what I say she doesn’t seem to believe me. And now, she’s not answering my calls or responding to my texts. I’m worried, I’ve never seen her like this before and I don’t want to lose her,”
“I might not know her personally but it doesn’t sound like the girl you’ve described to us before. I think the best thing you can do is, go to her and talk with her. Ask her why she’s feeling this way, only then can you understand where it’s coming from and once you know that, then you can assure her that it isn’t true,” Jay put his hand on my other shoulder and gave me a reassuring squeeze. “Thanks, Jay, I’ll go after practice,” “Nah, go now hyung,” “But I can’t, we have to practice, Seungmin,” “You’re not going to be able to focus, it’s better that you go now and solve this and then tomorrow you can come back stronger than ever,” I looked around at my members and they all smiled at me, they gave me the strength and courage I needed to go to (Y/n).
I picked up my sweatshirt, quickly putting it on as I ran out of the dance studio. I was determined to solve this. To fix this problem. As soon as I got to (Y/n)’s apartment, I picked up the key she had given me so that I could visit her any time I wanted to. I was going to use it but I decided to knock on the door first, to give her a chance of inviting me instead of just barging in. I knocked three times before I took a step back from the door and waited. I heard the lock turning before the door opened. She was surprised to see me standing on the other side, my breathing heavy from running here, her eyes were red and swollen, she had been crying.
“Jongwoo,” Her voice was hoarse, also an indicator of her crying before I came. “(Y/n), can we talk? Please,” She avoided my eyes, just like the last time we spoke, but she stepped aside to allow me inside the apartment. Without even thinking, I guess you could say I did it out of habit, as I walked past (Y/n) my arm instinctively went around her waist. She closed the door behind me before she stepped out of my reach, my arm stayed in the air for a second before I managed to will it back to my side, my heart breaking a little at the distance. She was so close yet she felt so far away.
“(Y/n), I love you. I wanna say that before we talk about anything else. I love you. I have been in love with you for the last 2 and a half years, hence why I asked you out. I love you, so please, please, explain why you’re so distant, please help me understand what’s going on,” I once again tried to reach out with my hand to her but she stepped back, not letting me touch her. My fingers twitched as I clenched my fist, and my jaw to try and hold back the tears that threatened to fall from my eyes.
“I told you, Woo. I’m only holding you back. As long as you’re with me you can’t succeed. I take too much of your time. We should break up so that you can live your dream, it’s what’s best for you,” This was the first time I truly got to see her cry. She looked me in the eyes as the tears streamed down her cheeks like rivers. Her whole body was trembling, shaking. Her once warm eyes that always shone like diamonds, now looked dark, empty, they looked dead.
“No.” “No? Jongwoo, you can’t just say no. We need to break up,” She raised her voice a little but I didn’t care. “No, we’re not breaking up for this reason. I won’t accept it. It’s stupid. (Y/n). I love you. I wouldn’t have been able to get through Boys Planet without you. I wanted to quit after the first day but you were there to help me get back on this path. It’s thanks to you that I am now in the debut lineup of One Pact. You’re the one to give me strength, you’re the reason I’m happy. You’re the reason why I work so hard because I want to impress you. So you’re not holding me back at all. No, you’re the one pushing me to become the best me I can be,” I couldn’t hold my tears back anymore.
“Jongwoo… I-” “The only time I’ll accept it if you don’t want to be with me anymore is if you don’t love me anymore. If you’ve fallen out of love with me, then I’ll accept it. But as long as I love you and you love me, we should be together. I won’t ever give up on you, because (Y/n), you’re my sun. You’re my reason to live. That’s how much you mean to me, so please, just give us a second chance, if you still love me?” (Y/n) let out a loud sniffle as even more tears fell from her eyes. I looked deep into her eyes, trying to will out any emotion in them. Hoping that there was hope left for us.
“Jongwoo, I’m so sorry,” My heart shattered into a million, no, into a billion pieces. I stopped breathing. She didn’t love me anymore. My knees became weak and I fell, kneeling in front of her, my eyes on the ground. I couldn’t breathe, I couldn’t see. My whole world was becoming enveloped in a dark mist, covering everything in a blanket of despair. “Jongwoo!” I could barely hear anything, I faintly heard (Y/n) screaming my name.
Third Person POV
(Y/n) fell down onto the floor in front of Jongwoo, she cried out his name multiple times but he didn’t respond. “Jongwoo, Jongwoo, please, please, Jongwoo,” It wasn’t until she embraced him in a tight hug. “I love you. I love you. Of course, I still love you, I’m sorry. I’m sorry, please, Jongwoo, Woo. Please, I’m sorry,” (Y/n) soon felt Jongwoo’s arms encircling her, pushing her closer to his broad frame in a tight hug. The two stayed on the floor, tightly embracing each other for a few minutes as they cried.
Jongwoo’s POV
“I love you. I love you. Of course, I still love you, I’m sorry. I’m sorry, please, Jongwoo, Woo. Please, I’m sorry,” As I felt (Y/n) hugging me and saying that she still loved me, I could finally breathe again, my eyes slowly came back into focus allowing me to see her shaking shoulders as she held me, chanting ‘I love you’ and ‘I’m sorry’. I tightly hugged her back. Happy to finally be allowed to hold her close again. I didn’t ever want to let go of her. I almost lost her, I didn’t ever want to truly lose her.
After probably ten or fifteen minutes, I slowly ended the hug by removing my arms from her waist and putting them on her shoulders. I looked her in the eyes. “(Y/n), do you still love me?” “Yes, I love you,” “Do you still want to be with me?” “Of course I do, but-” “No buts. Do you want to be with me?” “Yes, of course I do,” “Then let’s be together. I love you, (Y/n). More than anything in this world,” “I’m sorry, about all of this.” “I forgive you. Always. If you ever feel something like this again, talk with me, tell me, please,” “I promise, I won’t shut you out again,” “Good. Now, may I kiss you?” (Y/n) gave me a little smirk before she tilted her head just the tiniest bit. “Oh, I don’t know, can you?” I gently put a hand on her cheek, my thumb wiped away the stray tears that still lingered. And then I leaned in. I kissed her gently, trying to convey just how much I loved her with the action.
“God I missed kissing you,” “I missed you too, now kiss me again, please,” I kissed her once more, this time with a little more force as she pushed back at my lips with her own. “Please don’t ever leave me,” “Only if you promise not to leave me,” I stood up and helped (Y/n) stand too. I took one of her hands and put it on my chest, right by my heart, and looked her deep in the eyes. “As long as my heart is beating, as long as I am alive. I promise you, that I will love you and be by your side, I promise to never leave you,” I saw (Y/n)’s cheeks reddening as a shy smile grew on her face. She always told me that she dreamt of experiencing the things she read about, the way the boys in the books treated the girls with the utmost love and adoration. So, I tried to do just that.
“Yoon Jongwoo, I’m already head over heels in love with you,” “It wouldn’t hurt to make you swoon a little, right?” “You make me swoon more than just a little, I might just pass out from how fast my heart is beating,” “I’ll keep you steady with my strong arms,” I flexed my biceps a little as I chuckled, and (Y/n) laughed. And just like that, we were back to how we were before all this happened. It almost felt like the last two to three weeks hadn’t happened. “Jongwoo, you really are perfect,” “And so are you, my beautiful, wonderful, perfect, (Y/n),” I leaned in and gave her another kiss as she put her arms around my neck to deepen the kiss. As we broke the kiss, we both smiled and simultaneously said: “I love you”.

Third Person POV
Jongwoo sat alone in his living room, the echoes of their heated argument still lingering in the air. The silence between him and (Y/n) had stretched for days now, and the weight of the unspoken words hung heavily in the room. He stared blankly at his phone, hoping for a message or call that might bridge the gap between them.
(Y/n), on the other hand, found solace in the quiet moments away from Jongwoo. She needed time to clear her head, to understand what had led to this point in their relationship. As the days passed, the desire for reconciliation battled with the pain of the argument, leaving her torn.
Unable to endure the separation any longer, (Y/n) decided it was time to face the unresolved issues head-on. She took a deep breath and drove to Jongwoo's house, her heart pounding in her chest.
(Y/n) parked her car outside, just about to get out when she saw a woman leaving through the door that led to her boyfriend’s apartment, a woman she didn't recognize. Panic set in, and her mind raced with thoughts of betrayal. The woman walked over to another car, got in, and drove away. (Y/n) stood by her car, not knowing what to do.
Jongwoo, unaware of (Y/n)'s arrival, looked out from a window. He was taken aback by the sight of her, his heart skipping a beat. “(Y/n)?” He said to himself, quickly putting on shoes and walking outside, hoping to catch her before she left. "Wait, (Y/n), it's not what you think," he stammered, rushing toward her as the girl got back in the car.
Tears welled up in (Y/n)'s eyes as she saw Jongwoo. "Are you moving on already?" she demanded, her voice trembling with a mix of hurt and anger when Jongwoo stood holding the car door open to keep her from driving away.
Jongwoo, desperate to explain, quickly recounted the events of the past few days. He spoke about the fight, the advice he sought from Jay, and how Jay's girlfriend, the unfamiliar woman, had come over to help him mend things. “She told me I was being stupid for saying what I did, but also that we need to talk, we won’t solve anything unless we talk. And I’m sorry for what I said,”
Realization dawned on (Y/n), and her anger subsided into confusion. "I... I misunderstood," she admitted, her guard slowly crumbling.
Jongwoo, equally emotional, reached out to wipe away her tears. "Please, (Y/n), I haven't moved on. I never want to. I just needed guidance, and I want to make things right with you. I love you," (Y/n) got out of the car, standing in front of Jongwoo.
They stood in the soft glow of the porch light, the air heavy with the weight of their emotions. (Y/n) hesitated for a moment before finally giving in to the love that still lingered between them. She put a hand on Jongwoo’s cheek, wiping away some of his tears. "I believe you," she whispered, taking a breath before she continued. “I’m sorry for everything too. And I love you,”
Jongwoo's eyes sparkled with hope as he pulled her into a tight embrace. "I love you, (Y/n), more than anything. Let's work through this together."
As the tension dissolved, they shared a tender kiss, sealing their commitment to each other once more. The moon shone down on them, filling them with hope for a brighter tomorrow.

Third Person POV
As the autumn leaves danced in the crisp air, Jongwoo and Jay strolled across the college campus, their laughter echoing against the buildings. They were inseparable, the kind of friends who shared everything from childhood secrets to aspirations for the future. Their bond was forged in the fires of countless adventures and misadventures.
College had ushered in a new chapter in their lives, but their friendship remained the sturdy anchor amidst the sea of change. One fateful day, their world expanded when they encountered a newcomer to their circle: (Y/n).
(Y/n) had an aura of warmth that drew people in like moths to a flame. With her easy smile and gentle demeanor, she effortlessly charmed everyone she met. It was no different when she bumped into Jongwoo and Jay at the campus library.
"I'm so sorry," she exclaimed, her eyes widening in apology as her books scattered across the floor.
Jongwoo and Jay quickly knelt down to help her gather her belongings. "No worries," Jongwoo said with a grin. "We're experts at causing chaos."
(Y/n) chuckled, her cheeks tinged with a hint of pink. "Well, it seems I've stumbled into the right company then."
From that moment on, their friendship blossomed like a wildflower in spring. (Y/n) seamlessly integrated into their dynamic, adding her own unique perspective to their conversations and adventures. Whether they were studying late into the night or embarking on impromptu road trips, the trio became an unstoppable force, bound together by laughter, loyalty, and love.
As the days turned into weeks and the weeks into months, Jongwoo, Jay, and (Y/n) found themselves inseparable. Their friendship flourished as they embarked on new adventures, shared countless laughs, and supported each other through life's ups and downs.
But amidst the comfort of their close-knit bond, subtle shifts began to stir beneath the surface. Jongwoo found himself captivated by (Y/n)'s infectious laughter and unwavering kindness. Jay couldn't help but admire (Y/n)'s intelligence and the effortless way she lit up a room with her presence. And (Y/n), in turn, found herself drawn to both Jongwoo's charming smile and Jay's unwavering loyalty.
Yet, with the unspoken understanding that their friendship was sacred, they buried their burgeoning feelings deep within their hearts, afraid to disrupt the delicate balance they had forged together. They feared that expressing their romantic desires could fracture the foundation of their friendship, leaving them adrift in a sea of uncertainty.
As they navigated the complexities of their emotions, tension simmered beneath the surface, like a dormant volcano waiting to erupt. Their interactions became tinged with unspoken longing, fleeting glances laden with unfulfilled desire.
But despite the allure of what could be, they remained steadfast in their commitment to each other, determined to preserve the sanctity of their friendship above all else. Little did they know, however, that the tumultuous currents of love would soon come crashing down upon them, threatening to unravel the very fabric of their bond.
The soft glow of the television illuminated Jongwoo's apartment, casting shadows across the cozy living room where Jongwoo and (Y/n) sat side by side on the couch. The aroma of freshly popped popcorn lingered in the air as they settled in for their movie night, the comfortable silence between them a testament to the ease of their friendship.
As the movie played in the background, Jongwoo couldn't help but steal glances at (Y/n) out of the corner of his eye. He watched as she leaned forward, her eyes fixed on the screen with rapt attention, her lips curved into a slight smile at the unfolding plot. With each passing moment, Jongwoo felt his heart swell with affection, the familiar warmth of longing stirring within him.
Beside him, (Y/n) shifted slightly, her arm brushing against his as she reached for a handful of popcorn from the bowl between them. The contact sent a jolt of electricity coursing through Jongwoo's veins, igniting a firestorm of emotions he had long tried to suppress.
Heart pounding, Jongwoo hesitated for a moment before tentatively reaching out to adjust the blanket draped over (Y/n)'s shoulders. His fingers grazed her skin, sending a shiver down his spine as he felt the softness beneath his touch. Their eyes met in a fleeting moment of shared intensity, the unspoken longing hanging heavy in the air between them.
Suddenly, the room felt smaller, the air thick with unspoken desire as they teetered on the precipice of something unknown. With a courage born of desperation, Jongwoo leaned in closer, his breath catching in his throat as he dared to close the distance between them.
For a heartbeat, time stood still as their lips hovered mere inches apart, the tantalizing promise of what could be beckoning them forward. But just as they were on the brink of crossing the threshold into uncharted territory, the shrill sound of Jongwoo's phone shattered the fragile bubble of intimacy, jolting them back to reality with a harsh reminder of the forbidden nature of their desires.
Flustered, Jongwoo scrambled to answer the call, his heart pounding in his chest as he struggled to regain his composure. But as he turned back to face (Y/n), he found her gaze averted, her cheeks flushed with a blush of embarrassment.
In that moment, they both knew that the delicate balance of their friendship had been irrevocably altered, the once innocent touches now laden with the weight of unspoken longing. And as they sat in the silence that stretched between them, the echoes of their unspoken desires lingered like a ghost in the room, haunting them with the knowledge that their once platonic bond may never be the same again.
In the days that followed their intimate moment on Jongwoo's couch, an unspoken tension hung in the air whenever Jongwoo and (Y/n) found themselves alone together. They navigated their interactions with a careful balance, tiptoeing around the elephant in the room, each silently grappling with the weight of unspoken desires.
Yet, in the light of day, they buried their feelings beneath layers of friendship, their conversations laced with laughter and shared memories as they pretended that nothing had changed. They immersed themselves in the safety of their routine, clinging to the familiarity of their bond like a lifeline amidst the turbulent sea of their emotions.
But as night fell and the world grew quiet, their thoughts inevitably turned to the stolen moment of intimacy they had shared, the memory of their almost-kiss lingering like a bittersweet melody in the recesses of their minds. Alone in the darkness, they wrestled with the conflicting desires that threatened to consume them, their hearts torn between the comfort of friendship and the allure of something more.
Each night, as they lay awake in their respective beds, they found themselves haunted by the ghost of what could have been, their minds consumed by fantasies of a future that remained just out of reach. They danced on the edge of temptation, teetering on the brink of a precipice that promised both ecstasy and heartache in equal measure.
But with each passing night, the distance between them grew, the chasm widening as they retreated further into the safety of denial, afraid to confront the truth that lay dormant within their hearts. And as they continued to navigate the complexities of their friendship, they found themselves caught in a delicate dance of longing and restraint, their unspoken desires a silent symphony that echoed through the night, a testament to the fragile nature of the human heart.
As Jay and (Y/n) pored over their textbooks, the soft glow of the desk lamp casting shadows across the room, the air crackled with the energy of impending exams and late-night study sessions. Their laughter echoed against the walls as they traded notes and shared study tips, the easy camaraderie between them a testament to their close friendship.
But as the night wore on and fatigue began to set in, a subtle shift occurred in the atmosphere, the air thick with unspoken tension as they found themselves drawn together by an invisible force. Their eyes met across the table, a silent understanding passing between them as they teetered on the edge of something unknown.
In that moment, time seemed to stand still as Jay reached out to brush a stray lock of hair from (Y/n)'s face, his touch sending a jolt of electricity coursing through her veins. She met his gaze with a mixture of uncertainty and longing, her heart pounding in her chest as she dared to lean in closer, her lips hovering just inches away from his.
For a heartbeat, they lingered in the space between them, the world falling away as they were consumed by the magnetic pull of desire. And then, with a sigh of surrender, they closed the distance between them, their lips meeting in a tender kiss that ignited a firestorm of emotions neither of them could deny.
In that moment, the lines between friendship and something more blurred into oblivion, their bodies pressed together in a passionate embrace as they lost themselves in the sweetness of the forbidden. And as they surrendered to the intoxicating rush of desire, they knew that there was no turning back, their once platonic bond irrevocably transformed by the undeniable truth of their shared longing.
But even as they reveled in the euphoria of their newfound connection, they couldn't shake the lingering guilt that gnawed at the edges of their consciousness, the knowledge that their actions threatened to upend the delicate balance of their friendship weighing heavy on their hearts.
And as they lay tangled in each other's arms, the echoes of their forbidden love reverberating through the stillness of the night, they knew that they had embarked on a journey fraught with uncertainty, their hearts torn between the comfort of familiarity and the intoxicating allure of the unknown.
As their lips touched in a brief, fleeting moment of intimacy, (Y/n)'s heart pounded erratically in her chest. But before the warmth of the kiss could fully envelop her, she gently pushed Jay away, her eyes clouded with conflict and regret.
"I... I can't," she whispered, her voice barely audible above the pounding of her own heart. Jay's brows furrowed in confusion, his gaze searching (Y/n)'s face for some semblance of explanation.
"Why?" Jay asked, his voice tinged with a mixture of disappointment and longing. "What's wrong?"
Tears welled in (Y/n)'s eyes as she struggled to find the words to convey the turmoil raging within her. "It's Jongwoo," she admitted, her voice trembling with uncertainty. "And... and because of me."
Jay's heart sank as he processed her words, the weight of her confession settling over him like a heavy cloak. He had suspected as much, but hearing (Y/n) speak the truth aloud only made the situation more painful to bear.
"I understand," Jay murmured, his voice thick with emotion as he took a step back, the distance between them a painful reminder of the chasm that now lay between them. "I'm sorry, (Y/n). I didn't mean to... I didn't want to make things complicated."
(Y/n) shook her head, her own tears threatening to spill over as she reached out to grasp Jay's hand, her fingers trembling against his skin. "It's not your fault," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "I just... I can't bear to lose what we have, Jay. Our friendship means everything to me."
With a heavy heart, Jay nodded in understanding, his own tears glistening in the dim light of the room. "I know," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. "And I'll always be here for you, (Y/n), no matter what."
And with that, he turned and left, his footsteps echoing in the silence that stretched between them, leaving (Y/n) alone with her thoughts and the painful realization of what could have been.
Seated across from her friend Minnie in the cozy confines of her apartment, (Y/n) fidgeted nervously, her mind awash with conflicting emotions. With a heavy sigh, she finally mustered the courage to broach the subject that had been weighing heavily on her heart.
"Minnie," (Y/n) began, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "I need your help. I... I don't know what to do."
Minnie regarded her friend with a sympathetic expression, her eyes filled with understanding. "Of course, (Y/n)," she replied gently. "What's on your mind?"
(Y/n) took a deep breath, steeling herself for the words that were about to spill forth. "It's Jongwoo and Jay," she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper. "I... I have feelings for both of them."
Minnie's eyebrows shot up in surprise, but she remained silent, allowing (Y/n) to continue.
"And... and I'm pretty sure they both have feelings for me too," (Y/n) admitted, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment at the confession. "But I don't know what to do. I don't want to hurt either of them, but I can't deny how I feel."
Minnie nodded in understanding, her expression thoughtful as she considered (Y/n)'s dilemma. "Okay," she said gently. "Let's take a step back for a moment. Forget about everything else and just focus on each of them individually. Tell me about Jongwoo."
(Y/n) took a moment to collect her thoughts before speaking. "Jongwoo... he's always been there for me," she began, a soft smile tugging at her lips as she thought of her friend. "He's kind, caring, and incredibly supportive. He knows me better than anyone else, and he makes me feel safe."
Minnie nodded, absorbing (Y/n)'s words before prompting her to continue. "And Jay?"
"Jay... he's different," (Y/n) admitted, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "He's charming, loyal, and he always knows how to make me laugh. There's a spark between us that I can't quite explain, but it's always been there, lurking beneath the surface."
Minnie listened intently, her expression thoughtful as she processed (Y/n)'s words. "It sounds like you have deep connections with both of them," she mused. "But ultimately, (Y/n), the decision is yours to make. Follow your heart, but remember to consider everyone's feelings in the process."
(Y/n) nodded, her mind swirling with newfound clarity. "Thank you, Minnie," she said gratefully, a sense of determination settling over her like a warm blanket. "I think I know what I need to do now."
Jongwoo’s ending
After much contemplation and seeking advice from her friend Minnie, (Y/n) realizes that her heart has been leaning towards Jongwoo all along. With a sense of clarity, she decides to confess her feelings to him and pursue a relationship with him. The kiss with Jay, it just didn’t feel right.
When she meets Jongwoo for a private conversation, her heart pounds with nervous anticipation. Taking a deep breath, she gathers her courage and pours out her feelings, expressing how she values their friendship but also desires something more. To her relief, Jongwoo reciprocates her feelings, admitting that he has harbored romantic feelings for her for quite some time.
Their conversation is filled with shared smiles and unspoken promises, and as they embrace each other, they both know that they are embarking on a new chapter of their relationship.
Meanwhile, Jay's heart sinks when (Y/n) breaks the news to him. Despite feeling a pang of disappointment, he respects her decision and offers his support wholeheartedly. Though it's difficult for him to see (Y/n) with someone else, he finds solace in the knowledge that their friendship will endure, albeit in a different form.
A few days, at their first official date
The warm glow of the setting sun bathed the park in a soft, golden light as Jongwoo and (Y/n) strolled hand in hand along the winding path. It had been a perfect day spent together, filled with laughter, shared moments, and the undeniable spark of newfound love.
As they found themselves a secluded spot beneath the shade of a sprawling oak tree, Jongwoo couldn't help but feel overcome with emotion. His heart swelled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude for having (Y/n) by his side, and he knew that he had to seize the moment.
"(Y/n)," Jongwoo began, his voice soft and filled with tenderness as he turned to face her, his gaze locking with hers. "There's something I've been wanting to do."
Curiosity flickered in (Y/n)'s eyes as she looked up at him, her heart racing with anticipation. "What is it?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Without another word, Jongwoo gently cupped (Y/n)'s face in his hands, his touch tender and reverent as he leaned in closer, his lips hovering just inches away from hers. Time seemed to stand still as the world around them faded into the background, leaving only the two of them in their own little bubble of serenity.
And then, with a gentle yet firm pressure, Jongwoo closed the distance between them, capturing (Y/n)'s lips in a tender, heartfelt kiss. It was a moment of pure bliss, a symphony of emotions and sensations that washed over them like a tidal wave, leaving them breathless and exhilarated.
As they pulled away, a soft smile played on Jongwoo's lips, his eyes sparkling with love and adoration. "(Y/n)," he whispered, his voice filled with warmth. "I love you."
Tears welled in (Y/n)'s eyes as she returned his smile, her heart overflowing with happiness. "I love you too, Jongwoo," she murmured, her voice choked with emotion as she leaned in to kiss him once more, sealing their love with a promise that would last a lifetime.
Jay’s ending
After soul-searching and seeking counsel from her friend Minnie, (Y/n) comes to the realization that her heart truly belongs to Jay. With a sense of resolve, she decides to take a leap of faith and confess her feelings to him, hoping for a chance at a deeper connection.
When she finally musters the courage to speak with Jay privately, her palms sweat with nervousness. With trembling words, she lays bare her emotions, confessing her love for him and expressing her desire to explore a romantic relationship.
To her joy and relief, Jay's eyes light up with surprise and happiness as he admits that he has harbored feelings for her as well. Their conversation is filled with laughter and tears as they share their hopes and dreams for the future.
As they embrace each other, (Y/n) feels a sense of peace wash over her, knowing that she has made the right choice.
Meanwhile, Jongwoo struggles to come to terms with (Y/n)'s decision. Though he is heartbroken, he ultimately understands and respects her choice. Despite the ache in his heart, he wishes them both well, silently mourning the loss of what could have been.
The anticipation hung thick in the air as Jay stood outside (Y/n)'s apartment, his heart pounding with nervous excitement. It was their first official date, and he couldn't help but feel a flutter of anticipation in his stomach as he waited for her to emerge.
When (Y/n) finally appeared, Jay's breath caught in his throat at the sight of her. She looked radiant, her smile lighting up her face as she stepped out, her hair cascading in gentle waves around her shoulders.
"You look amazing," Jay said, unable to tear his gaze away from her as he offered her a bouquet of her favorite flowers.
(Y/n) blushed at the compliment, her cheeks tinged with a rosy hue as she accepted the flowers with a grateful smile. "Thank you, Jay," she replied, her voice soft with emotion.
With a sense of exhilaration coursing through him, Jay offered (Y/n) his arm, a grin spreading across his face as they set off on their adventure.
Their first stop was a quaint little café tucked away in a charming corner of the city. As they settled into a cozy booth, Jay found himself captivated by (Y/n)'s laughter and the easy flow of conversation between them.
Over cups of steaming coffee and plates of delectable pastries, they shared stories and dreams, each moment filled with the promise of a future yet to unfold.
From there, they embarked on a leisurely stroll through the bustling streets, hand in hand as they explored the hidden gems of the city. They marveled at the vibrant street art adorning the walls and savored the simple joy of being in each other's company.
As the sun began to dip below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the city skyline, Jay led (Y/n) to a secluded spot overlooking the river. With the soft sound of water lapping against the shore as their backdrop, Jay pulled (Y/n) into his arms, his heart swelling with affection.
"I'm so glad I get to spend this time with you," Jay said, his voice filled with sincerity as he looked into (Y/n)'s eyes.
(Y/n) smiled, her heart fluttering with happiness as she leaned into Jay's embrace. "Me too, Jay," she replied, her voice tinged with warmth. "This has been perfect."
And as they watched the sunset in a blaze of orange and gold, (Y/n) couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement for the countless adventures that lay ahead, knowing that with Jay by her side, every moment would be filled with love and laughter.

Third Person POV
Yoon Jongwoo, the charismatic dancer, was used to being in the spotlight. His well-chiseled physique and captivating dance moves made him the heartthrob of the university. He lived for the applause, the energy of the dance club, and the gym's intensity. Academics, however, were a distant thought.
On the other side of campus, (Y/n) was the epitome of dedication. Her world revolved around textbooks, late-night study sessions, and the pursuit of academic excellence. The little free time she had was reserved for occasional partying with her friends Jay and Kamden.
Two weeks before the midterms, Jay and Kamden managed to convince (Y/n) to attend a party, promising her a much-needed break. The pulsating music and vibrant atmosphere starkly contrasted with her usual study routine.
In the midst of the crowd, Jongwoo's eyes were drawn to (Y/n) like a moth to a flame. He felt an irresistible pull towards her, something beyond the ordinary. The powerful dancer approached her, his presence commanding attention.
"Care for a dance?" he asked, his voice carrying a hint of confidence.
(Y/n), aware of Jongwoo's reputation, hesitated but decided to go along. As they danced, the rhythm of the music seemed to synchronize with the beating of their hearts. The atmosphere grew increasingly sensual, and the world around them faded away.
In that moment, a magnetic connection formed between the diligent scholar and the charismatic dancer. The music echoed their emotions, and before they knew it, their lips met in a passionate kiss on the dance floor.
The chemistry between them was undeniable, and the dance continued, each move expressing the unspoken desires that had awakened within them. As the night unfolded, Jongwoo took (Y/n) by the hand and led her upstairs to a more private space.
In that secluded room, away from the pulsating beats of the music, they discovered a different rhythm — the cadence of their hearts intertwining. Jongwoo, known for his powerful dance moves, found himself enchanted by the gracefulness of (Y/n)'s steps.
The morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a gentle glow on the room that was once filled with the rhythm of passion. As the night's intoxication faded, (Y/n) stirred awake, her eyes adjusting to the unfamiliar surroundings. Reality hit her like a wave, and she glanced at the clock, feeling a pang of anxiety.
"I need to go," she muttered to herself, hurriedly collecting her scattered belongings. The room, which had been a sanctuary of shared moments just hours ago, now felt like a maze of regret. Her thoughts raced as she slipped out of the room, leaving behind a whisper of the night's secrets.
Jongwoo, however, woke up to a different scene. The room, once filled with the echoes of shared laughter and intimate whispers, was now eerily silent. He blinked, trying to shake off the drowsiness, but a lingering sense of emptiness settled in. His gaze wandered around the room, realizing he was alone for the first time in a while.
Confusion etched across his face, Jongwoo sat up, scanning the room for any sign of (Y/n). The disheveled sheets and the faint scent of her perfume were the only remnants of their shared night. He couldn't help but feel a strange mix of emotions – a cocktail of longing and curiosity.
Meanwhile, (Y/n) rushed to meet Kamden, her mind still clouded by the events of the night before. She found solace in the familiar surroundings of the library, burying herself in textbooks and notes. The encounter with Jongwoo lingered in the back of her mind, an uncharted territory she wasn't sure how to navigate.
As Jongwoo slowly pieced together the events of the night, he couldn't shake the feeling of emptiness that lingered. The heartthrob, who was accustomed to being the center of attention, was left in a room that echoed with the absence of the one person who had briefly shared his world.
Little did they know, the night's events had set in motion a series of changes that would draw them back together, forcing both Jongwoo and (Y/n) to confront not only their own desires but also the unexpected connection that had formed between them. The echoes of that night would continue to reverberate in their lives, intertwining their destinies in ways they never anticipated.
Weeks passed, and midterms approached with relentless speed. (Y/n) buried herself in her studies, the memory of the night with Jongwoo pushed to the recesses of her mind. For her, success in academics was the priority, and the whirlwind of university life demanded her complete focus.
Jongwoo, however, couldn't shake off the bitter taste left by (Y/n)'s abrupt departure. As the days unfolded, his initial infatuation transformed into frustration. The charismatic dancer, accustomed to being in control of his emotions, found himself bewildered by the intensity of his feelings.
"No one should just walks away like that," he muttered to himself, his usual confidence replaced by a simmering discontent. The more he dwelled on the night they shared, the more his emotions spiraled into a dark abyss.
Witnessing (Y/n) engrossed in her studies only fueled Jongwoo's resentment. He couldn't understand why she seemed to have forgotten their night together. The very thought of her triggered a storm of conflicting emotions within him – desire interwoven with disdain.
His attempts to distance himself from the memory of (Y/n) proved futile. Every glimpse of her on campus, every mention of her name, reignited the flickering flame of frustration within him. The heartthrob dancer, known for his charm and magnetic personality, found himself ensnared in a web of emotions he couldn't escape.
One day, as midterms loomed closer, their paths crossed again. Jongwoo, unable to contain his pent-up emotions, confronted (Y/n) with an intensity that surprised even himself. The disdain in his eyes was palpable, a stark contrast to the once-sensual dance they shared.
"What was that night to you?" he demanded, his tone cutting through the air. The question hung between them, laden with unspoken emotions and unresolved tension. The encounter, which began as a fleeting dance in the dimly lit room, now stood as a symbol of unspoken grievances and shattered expectations.
Jongwoo's confrontational words hung in the air, creating a tension that (Y/n) was ill-prepared to handle. Her mind was already consumed by the looming midterms, and the stress of the encounter only added to her overwhelming burden.
"I don't know what you're talking about," she replied, her voice strained. With a fleeting glance, she attempted to dismiss the confrontation and hurriedly turned away, attempting to walk past Jongwoo.
His frustration reached a boiling point as he watched (Y/n) pretend ignorance. In a fit of anger and hurt pride, Jongwoo grabbed a nearby bottle of water, the cool liquid sloshing within. Without a second thought, he poured it over (Y/n), the shock of the cold water interrupting her hurried escape.
"Maybe this will jog your memory," he sneered, the apology laced with sarcasm. Jongwoo's eyes bore into hers, a mixture of hurt and anger reflecting in his gaze. The atmosphere around them seemed to freeze for a moment as the realization of what just happened settled in.
(Y/n), now drenched and flustered, clenched her fists, the pressure of her exams and Jongwoo's unexpected actions pushing her to the edge. Kamden, who had been waiting nearby, witnessed the scene unfold with a mixture of surprise and concern.
Jongwoo, satisfied with his impulsive act, turned on his heel and walked away, leaving (Y/n) standing there, wet and disoriented. The encounter had taken an unexpected turn, leaving both parties with emotions they weren't prepared to handle.
Kamden approached (Y/n) with a concerned expression. "Are you okay? What was that about?"
She shook her head, attempting to shake off the shock. "I don't even know," she muttered, a mix of frustration and confusion in her voice. The incident lingered in the back of her mind as she tried to refocus on the upcoming exams, but the unexpected encounter with Jongwoo left a mark on her, creating a distraction she couldn't easily shake off.
The aftermath of Jongwoo's impulsive act lingered in (Y/n)'s mind like a persistent storm. The shock and humiliation from that encounter haunted her, overshadowing her usually sharp focus during the midterms. As the results came in, she couldn't help but notice the impact on her grades.
Her performance, by any standards, wasn't terrible, but it fell below the standard she had set for herself. The subtle marks of distraction and stress were etched across her exam papers, a stark departure from her usual excellence. She couldn't shake the feeling that Jongwoo's actions had thrown her off course.
Fueled by frustration and resentment, (Y/n) blamed him for the disruption in her academic rhythm. The pledge to steer clear of Jongwoo solidified in her mind, convinced that avoiding the conceited dancer was the key to reclaiming her focus and peace of mind.
"I don't need someone like him in my life," she vowed to herself, burying the lingering hurt beneath a facade of determination. The once-charismatic dancer had transformed in her eyes into an arrogant and rude figure, and she wanted nothing more than to distance herself from him.
As the university continued its routine, Jongwoo remained oblivious to the impact of his actions on (Y/n). His own pride and frustration blinded him to the collateral damage caused by his impulsive behavior. Meanwhile, (Y/n) withdrew into a shell, channeling her hurt into a renewed commitment to her studies.
A few weeks later, (Y/n) was asked to show a new student around the campus, a request she couldn’t turn down as it came from her favorite teacher and she was promised some extra credit too.
As (Y/n) guided Seongmin through the bustling campus, their laughter echoed through the hallways. The new student found comfort in her friendly demeanor, and she reveled in the opportunity to share her love for the university. However, as they approached the gym hall, the atmosphere took an unexpected turn.
The rhythmic beats of music spilled out from the gym, announcing the presence of the dance club. Seongmin's eyes lit up with excitement as he expressed his interest in joining. (Y/n), despite the lingering discomfort from the previous encounter with Jongwoo, felt obligated to introduce Seongmin to the dance club's leader.
Approaching the group, (Y/n) hesitated for a moment before clearing her throat. "Hey, everyone! This is Seongmin, a new student who's interested in joining the dance crew. And this is Jongwoo, the leader."
Jongwoo glanced at Seongmin with a scrutinizing look, then shifted his gaze to (Y/n). A sly grin formed on his face as he remarked, "Well, well, (Y/n). Looks like you're not just leading people on anymore but leading them around. Maybe you've found a new hobby."
The cutting remark caught (Y/n) off guard, and she felt a surge of frustration rising within her. However, determined not to let Jongwoo's comments affect her, she met his gaze with unwavering resolve.
"I'm just helping out, Jongwoo. It's not a crime," she retorted, her tone laced with defiance. "Seongmin here is genuinely interested in joining. Can you blame him for having good taste?"
Seongmin, caught in the crossfire, nervously chuckled, sensing the tension between (Y/n) and Jongwoo. The other members of the dance crew exchanged glances, unsure how to react to the sudden clash.
Jongwoo, unfazed by (Y/n)'s comeback, maintained his arrogant demeanor. "We'll see if he's good enough to keep up," he sneered, casting a dismissive glance at Seongmin before turning away.
(Y/n), suppressing the frustration bubbling within her, shot one last defiant look at Jongwoo before turning her attention back to Seongmin. "Don't worry, Seongmin. Just ignore him. Let's get you started with the crew, and you'll show them what you've got."
As the new student joined the dance crew, the dynamic within the group shifted. The clash between Jongwoo and (Y/n) set the stage for a tension that would linger, affecting not only the dance club but also the interconnected lives of those involved. The rhythmic beats of the music continued, masking the underlying discord that simmered beneath the surface.
Seated at their usual lunch spot, (Y/n), Jay, and Kamden enjoyed a brief respite from the demands of university life. However, the encounter with Jongwoo weighed heavily on (Y/n)'s mind, and she couldn't help but vent her frustrations to her friends.
"He's insufferable, I swear," (Y/n) grumbled, poking at her food. "First that night, and now he's acting all high and mighty in front of the new guy. I can't stand him."
Jay, ever the loyal friend, nodded in agreement. "He's always been like that, (Y/n). Don't let him get to you. You're better than that."
Kamden, recalling the incident with the water, chimed in with a scowl. "I don't like the guy either. Pouring water over someone is just a douche move. And now he's giving Seongmin a hard time? Not cool."
(Y/n) appreciated the support from her friends, and together, they dissected the intricacies of Jongwoo's behavior. Jay, though he hadn't witnessed the specific interactions, sided with (Y/n) without hesitation. Kamden, on the other hand, had seen enough to form a strong opinion against the charismatic dancer.
The conversation drifted towards plans for the upcoming weekend, a welcome distraction from the tension that Jongwoo had injected into their lives. Yet, the lingering discomfort remained, a reminder that the clash with the dance club leader had left an indelible mark on (Y/n)'s university experience.
With Jay's infectious enthusiasm, the gloomy clouds of tension that surrounded the trio seemed to dissipate, if only momentarily. The promise of a big party on Friday lit up Jay's eyes as he shared the news.
"Guys, you won't believe it! We've got invites to the biggest party this Friday! It's going to be epic, and everyone's going to be there," Jay exclaimed, a wide grin on his face.
Kamden, still harboring reservations about the social scene, hesitated. "I don't know, Jay. Right now, I’d rather just watch a movie at home and chill with you guys."
Jay, ever the persuasive friend, countered, "Come on, Kamden! It's just what we need to unwind and forget about all the drama. (Y/n), you're in, right?"
(Y/n), caught between the desire to let loose and the lingering distrust of her judgment at parties, contemplated for a moment. Finally, she sighed and agreed, "Fine, but under one condition. You guys don't leave my side. I don't trust myself at these things anymore, especially after the last time."
Jay chuckled, wrapping an arm around (Y/n)'s shoulder. "Deal! We'll be your loyal sidekicks, and nothing crazy is going to happen, I promise. So, Kam, you have to come, our (Y/n) needs us," Kamden pushed Jay’s shoulder, laughing at his friend before he agreed to go.
With the party plans in motion, the trio's focus shifted towards the anticipation of Friday night. As the week progressed, the promise of a carefree evening provided a welcome distraction from the challenges they faced.
The pulsating beats of the music reverberated through the crowded house as (Y/n), Jay, and Kamden navigated through the sea of people. The air was thick with the scent of alcohol, laughter, and the unmistakable energy of a lively party.
Kamden, true to his promise, stuck close to (Y/n)'s side. He felt a sense of responsibility to ensure she had a good time while keeping a watchful eye on the surroundings. As the trio made their way further into the chaos, Kamden couldn't help but marvel at the vivacity of the scene.
Jay, the social butterfly that he was, flitted around the party, greeting friends and acquaintances with infectious enthusiasm. However, he always found his way back to Kamden and (Y/n), seamlessly blending into their dynamic.
As the night unfolded, the trio danced and laughed, momentarily forgetting the challenges and tensions of university life. The music created a rhythmic atmosphere, and (Y/n) found herself letting loose on the dance floor, her worries momentarily cast aside.
The music pulsed through the crowded room, and (Y/n) found herself lost in the rhythm of the night, dancing with Kamden. He moved with surprising grace, his steps syncing seamlessly with hers. As they twirled and swayed, (Y/n) couldn't help but appreciate the stark contrast between Kamden's sweet demeanor and Jongwoo's lingering arrogance.
Kamden, with his kind eyes and genuine smile, provided a welcome respite from the complexities of university life. In the throes of the dance, he seemed to understand (Y/n)'s need for escapism, offering her a moment of joy in the midst of the chaotic party.
On the other side of the room, Jongwoo observed (Y/n) from a distance, his eyes fixed on the girl he couldn't forget. As he watched her laugh and dance with Kamden, a tinge of jealousy crept into his thoughts. He hated the way she had left him, the way she seemed to move on effortlessly.
A part of him longed to be the one dancing with her, holding her close, and feeling the warmth of her presence. The memory of their shared night haunted him, and in that moment, he wished for a chance to rewind time and reclaim the connection that slipped through his fingers.
Jongwoo, torn between pride and desire, found himself unable to look away. The contrast between (Y/n) and Kamden highlighted the choices he had made and the consequences he now faced.
Jongwoo, emboldened by the effects of alcohol, stumbled through the crowd to approach (Y/n). The pulsating beats of the music drowned out the growing tension as he grabbed her arm, insisting they needed to talk. (Y/n), fueled by a mix of anger and frustration, glared at him, her patience worn thin.
"What the fuck? No, Jongwoo. I don't want to talk," she retorted, attempting to pull away from his grip. When he persisted, she remembered the cup in her hand, mirroring the act he had inflicted on her weeks ago. With a swift motion, she poured the contents over his head, her expression unyielding.
Turning on her heel, (Y/n) walked away, leaving Jongwoo drenched and bewildered in the midst of the party. She found Kamden nearby, and without a word, she grabbed his hand, seeking solace in the comfort of a friend. Kamden didn’t question her, sensing that something was wrong. The two made their way through the crowd, determined to find Jay and head home.
As they located Jay, (Y/n) grabbed his hand with her free one, now leading both friends with her to leave the party. Once outside in the quiet cold night, she explained the confrontation with Jongwoo, her frustration evident in her words. Jay, ever supportive, nodded understandingly. Kamden clenched his fists, he shouldn’t have left her alone to say hello to his friend.
Outside, in the cool night air, (Y/n) felt a mix of emotions. Anger, disappointment, but also a sense of empowerment. She had stood her ground, refusing to be a victim of Jongwoo's actions.
(Y/n) and Jongwoo's encounters in the hallways of the university became tense and charged with unspoken animosity. The once-charismatic dancer and the diligent student now shared nothing but disdain in their glances. Each time their eyes locked, it felt like an unspoken challenge, a clash of conflicting emotions that reverberated through the narrow corridors.
One day, their paths collided near the entrance of the library. (Y/n), with a determined stride, held her gaze steady as she walked, making it clear she wouldn't yield to Jongwoo's presence. He, too, refused to back down, a simmering anger in his eyes.
"You really know how to ruin a good party, don't you?" Jongwoo sneered, his voice carrying a tone of bitter sarcasm.
(Y/n) shot back with a cutting remark, "Well, some people don't need help with that, do they? Pouring water over someone just because you can't get your way. Real mature, Jongwoo."
Their exchange of insults continued, the words laced with the residual bitterness of their past interactions. Onlookers couldn't help but feel the palpable tension in the air. The hallways, once a neutral space for students to traverse, became a battleground for the silent war between (Y/n) and Jongwoo.
As weeks passed, the glares and insults persisted, creating a toxic atmosphere whenever their paths crossed. Friends who witnessed these interactions couldn't help but feel the awkwardness in the air, unsure of how to navigate the rift between the two.
The university corridors, once filled with the hum of conversation and the shuffle of footsteps, now held the lingering echoes of a clash that seemed to have no resolution.
Seongmin approached Jongwoo during a break at dance practice, his curiosity piqued by the tension he sensed between Jongwoo and (Y/n). Choosing his words carefully, Seongmin broached the subject, hoping to unravel the mystery behind the animosity.
"Hey, Jongwoo. I couldn't help but notice there's some tension between you and (Y/n)," Seongmin remarked, taking a seat beside him. "I mean, you both seem like cool people. Is there something I'm missing?"
Jongwoo sighed, running a hand through his hair, a conflicted expression on his face. "It's complicated, Seongmin. We used to... have a thing, I guess. But it didn't end well, and now there's just this weird tension between us."
Seongmin, with genuine curiosity, probed further. "A thing? What happened?"
Jongwoo hesitated, grappling with the decision to share the details. "We had a night together, and she left without saying anything the next morning. It's like she wanted nothing to do with me afterward. It hurt, you know?"
Seongmin nodded, trying to understand the situation from Jongwoo's perspective. "I get that, but people change, right? Maybe it's worth talking to her, clearing the air. She seems like a nice person, and you are too."
Jongwoo pondered Seongmin's words, realizing the truth in them. The complexity of emotions and misunderstandings became apparent, and he considered the possibility of a conversation with (Y/n) to finally address the lingering tension.
"You might be right, Seongmin. But I don’t know," Jongwoo admitted, scratching his neck in shame.
Seongmin, sensing an openness in Jongwoo, continued to share his perspective, choosing his words carefully to encourage understanding between the two conflicting parties.
"Look, Jongwoo, I've gotten to know both you and (Y/n) a bit. You're both great people, but it seems like you're holding onto this grudge from the past. I get that it hurt when she left, but maybe it's time to let go of that anger. Holding onto it is only making things worse for both of you," Seongmin expressed, his tone gentle but earnest.
Jongwoo listened intently, contemplating Seongmin's words. The realization of the impact their unresolved issues were having on their lives began to dawn on him.
Seongmin continued, "We're all adults here, right? These petty fights and glares in the hallway, they're not helping anyone. Maybe it's time for both of you to grow up a bit. Life's too short for this kind of drama, and you both have so much more to offer."
Jongwoo nodded, appreciating Seongmin's honest perspective. "You might be onto something, Seongmin. It's just hard to let go sometimes."
Seongmin smiled, offering a reassuring pat on Jongwoo's shoulder. "I get it. But holding onto the past won't do you any favors. A conversation might be a good place to start. Who knows, you might find some common ground and put this behind you."
As the conversation unfolded, Seongmin's wisdom resonated with Jongwoo. The realization that it might be time to mature and let go of the past sank in.
Seongmin, with the support of Jay, orchestrated a plan to bring (Y/n) and Jongwoo together in a small study room. The atmosphere inside the room was charged with tension as Seongmin locked the door behind them, creating a space where they could no longer avoid the need for a conversation.
Jongwoo, sitting nervously in the room, glanced at (Y/n), who wore an expression of surprise and confusion. Jay, aware of the gravity of the situation, stood by the door, ensuring that the conversation wouldn't be easily avoided.
Seongmin took a deep breath, breaking the silence. "Guys, we need to talk. It's clear that there's a lot of unresolved tension between you two, and it's affecting not only your relationship but also the people around you."
(Y/n) crossed her arms defensively, her gaze flickering between Seongmin and Jongwoo. "What is this? Are you trying to play mediator or something?"
Seongmin nodded. "Something like that. Look, I care about both of you, and I hate seeing you guys act like this. It's not healthy, and it's affecting the whole dance crew and our friends."
Jongwoo sighed, feeling the weight of Seongmin's words. "He's right. We can't keep avoiding this."
(Y/n) shot a glare at Jongwoo, her frustration evident. "Avoiding what exactly? He's the one who poured water over me, to begin with!"
Jongwoo winced at the reminder, realizing the gravity of his actions. "I messed up, (Y/n), and I'm sorry. But there's more to it, and we need to talk about everything."
Seongmin encouraged them to open up, his gaze moving between the two. "Let's air out everything. You both have your sides of the story, and it's time to find common ground. Maybe you'll realize you're not that different after all."
Seongmin and Jay positioned themselves outside the locked room, serving as the reluctant guardians of the crucial conversation happening within. (Y/n) and Jongwoo faced each other, the tension palpable as they embarked on a journey into their shared past.
Jongwoo, his voice softening, asked, "Do you even remember the party we met at?"
(Y/n) furrowed her brows, trying to recall. "I've been to a lot of parties, Jongwoo. I can't keep track of all of them."
Jongwoo's eyes bore into hers as he leaned in slightly. "Maybe this will help you remember," he murmured, capturing her lips with a gentle kiss.
For a moment, (Y/n) resisted, her mind resisting the intrusion of the past. But as their lips met, a rush of memories flooded back. The taste of the night they shared, the pulsating music, and the feeling of warmth enveloping them on the dance floor.
She pulled away, her eyes wide with realization. "That night..."
Jongwoo nodded, his gaze searching hers. "Why did you leave without saying anything the next morning?"
(Y/n), a hint of regret in her eyes, explained, "I had midterms coming up, and I needed to study. It wasn't personal, Jongwoo. I didn't think it would turn into all of this."
Jongwoo sighed, a mix of frustration and understanding in his expression. "I thought you just wanted nothing to do with me. It hurt, (Y/n)."
(Y/n) looked away, guilt creeping into her features. "I never meant to hurt you, Jongwoo. It was a mistake, and I should've handled it better."
Jongwoo, his initial anger giving way to a more vulnerable side, admitted, "Maybe I overreacted. Pouring water over you in the hallway was immature. I just... I felt abandoned and hurt because, well, I really like you."
They continued to unravel the complexities of that night, sharing their perspectives, regrets, and the lingering emotions that had fueled their animosity. The locked room became a confessional, a space where truths were laid bare, and misunderstandings began to crumble.
As the weight of their past grievances lifted through the honest conversation, Jongwoo and (Y/n) found themselves at a crossroads. The air in the small study room had shifted, leaving room for a newfound understanding and a glimmer of hope.
Jongwoo, his vulnerability laid bare, hesitated before speaking. "Would you maybe want to go on a real date, (Y/n)? Explore if there's something more between us?"
(Y/n), contemplating the evolution of their conversation and the potential for a fresh start, met Jongwoo's gaze. The walls of animosity had crumbled, and in their place, the possibility of something new lingered.
A soft smile tugged at the corners of (Y/n)'s lips as she nodded. "I think I'd like that, Jongwoo. A fresh start, a real date. Let's see where it takes us."
Jongwoo, relief washing over him, mirrored her smile. "I'd like that too, (Y/n)."
With a mutual understanding and the promise of a new beginning, the two emerged from the study room, leaving behind the locked door that had served as a threshold for their reconciliation. Seongmin and Jay, the unwitting architects of this moment, exchanged approving glances as they stepped aside, allowing Jongwoo and (Y/n) to navigate the uncharted territory that lay ahead.
