Nekopara is one of the fantasy-comedy anime, released in 2020. The anime, licensed by Funimation, directed by Yasutaka Yamamoto, and originally aired on AT-X, Tokyo MX, BS11 local Japan channels. The anime, which was released in English on the Aniplus Asia channel, aired 12 episodes between January 9, 2020 – March 26, 2020. The series was created by Felix Film, a fairly new studio in the television industry. Whether the anime will have a second season is wondered by fans. Noblesse Trailer

Crunchyroll Original Noblesse has a trailer. Adapted from writer Jeho Son and artist Kwangsu Lee’s WEBTOON series, Noblesse finds Raizel awakening from a 820 year sleep. Raizel holds the title of Noblesse, a pure-blood Noble and protector of all Nobles. He is enrolled in Ye Ran High School by his servant Frankenstein in an attempt to both protect him and help him learn human routines. Unfortunately, the secret society The Union is planning on taking over the world and are beginning to encroach on Raizel’s new life.

Noblesse is directed by Yasutaka Yamamoto with Shunsuke Tada as chief director, Sayaka Harada in charge of series composition, and Akiharu Ishii in charge of character designs and chief animation supervision. Tarusuke Shingaki stars as Cadis Etrama di Raizel with Daisuke Hirakawa as Frankenstein, Kousuke Onishi as M-21, Ryota Iwasaki as Tashiro Yusuke, and Yohei Hamada as Kase Manabu.

Noblesse will release on Crunchyroll in October 2020.

Animation credits go to Yasutaka Yamamoto and Hiroyuki Saita. Song is credited to Oosawa Keiichi for composition, Kushita Mine for arrangement, and Miura Seiji for lyrics. Sigh, I gues you can put down "faux-samba pop" as another weakness of mine. Those precision-strike flips between major and minor also amp up the chorus's catchiness. The verse is pretty interesting, though, because my initial association for that arrangement was the kind of ska-pop that has become a bit of a trademark for a certain kind of J-pop (and rather beat to death by 48G lol). But when you consider the bouncing rhythms actually happening in that section, it's more of a funk arrangement. It's just Sadohara Kaori's bright and bouncy approach to the vocals that controlled my first impressions. It's, honestly, one of my favorite things about J-pop, about how you get vocal performers who have zero knowledge with the music genre context/history, and so have none of that in their performance, which ultimately makes the result into a hybrid. The pre-chorus is standard evolved-from-the-sixties arrangement which J-pop has optimized (with so much glock and chimes) into what I like to call bubblegum, but isn't necessarily rooted in the historical music genre/era of the same name. The composition does a great job of moderating the half time palate cleanse before ramping back into the faux-samba. That ending on a key-change, though. Can't tell if intrigued or annoyed.

  Based on the manga by Satoshi Mizukami, The Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer is being directed by Nobuaki Nakanishi (Mangirl!), alongside Yuichiro Momose (So I'm a Spider, So What?) and Mizukami himself on series composition. The studio tasked with animating the long-awaited adaptation, which is scheduled to begin airing in Summer 2022, is yet to be revealed.

  Seven Seas Entertainment, who publishes the manga's official English version, describes the series as:

  Everything about college student Amamiya Yuuhi is average: grades, looks and his blasé outlook on life. So what happens when he awakens one day to a talking lizard, who informs him that there is a gigantic hammer in outer space, poised to split the Earth into pieces, and requests his allegiance in the fight against the forces of evil? Pretend it never happened! Unfortunately for Yuuhi, a little bit of coercion in the form of a super-powered princess prevents him from returning to his mediocre life-as-usual.

THE TALE OF OUTCASTS: locandina e nuovo trailer per l’anime che vedremo da gennaio su Crunchyroll

Il manga di Makoto Hoshino, dal quale è tratta la serie, si è concluso lo scorso anno con l’ottavo volume.

Finalmente riesco a fare un post come si deve su “THE TALE OF OUTCASTS” (Nokemono-tachi no Yoru)! Sfortuna ha voluto che ne relegassi le prime news in un paio di megathread, ma ora eccoci qua, con il nuovo trailer che fissa il debutto della serie animata all’8 gennaio 2023. 

Prima di lasciarvi al video, vi ricordo che il supernatural drama, basato sul manga di Makoto Hoshino, arriverà in simulcast su Crunchyroll.

L’adattamento è diretto da Yasutaka Yamamoto (Hinomaru Sumo, Noblesse) e in produzione presso lo studio ASHI PRODUCTIONS, al primo lavoro di rilievo dopo parecchi anni (e un po’ si vede eh).

Alla sceneggiatura stanno lavorando Kenichi Yamashita (Holmes of Kyoto), Sayaka Harada (Noblesse) e lo stesso regista. 

Il character design è curato da Mina Osawa (Given), mentre le musiche sono firmate da Kana Hashiguchi (Classroom of the Elite II) e Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Jujutsu Kaisen).

Il demone al suo fianco è la sua salvezza. La ragazza al suo fianco rappresenta il suo passato. Il loro incontro avvenuto alla fine del diciannovesimo secolo nell'Impero Britannico dà il via a un racconto sulla ricerca di un luogo a cui appartenere. Ai loro compagni emarginati, questo demone e questa ragazza sussurrano il loro racconto, nel buio della notte.

Il manga è stato pubblicato sulle pagine di Weekly Shounen Sunday fra il 2019 e il 2021. Shogakukan ne ha raccolto i 76 capitoli in 8 volumetti.
