I think it’s the alcohol speaking but sometimes I feel like I’ve failed at life even though I’m only like 20. I feel like I should’ve picked Stanford which my family would’ve felt more inclined to send me off to or idk I should’ve stayed in France or something. I don’t know I’m not really excited to start my school even thought it’s objectively a good school most people study really hard to get into. I just feel like I’m wasting my life

Que Ara não era a semideusa mais sociável do mundo, todo mundo sabia disso, mas naquele momento, seu poder - que ela tanto odiava - era de grande ajuda para todos no acampamento. Então quando Quíron lhe pediu para ajudar diferentes chalés, a garota não pode negar, mesmo sabendo o quanto isso a deixaria exausta. O primeiro de sua lista era o chalé de Deimos e a única pessoa que conseguia se lembrar de lá era Yasemin, já que por coincidência, Yuhok e ela faziam parte da mesma banda.
Ara não demorou muito no caminho da Casa Grande até o chalé, já que o quanto mais rápido ela chegasse, mais rápido ela fazia o trabalho e mais rápido conseguia descansar. Meio sem jeito, a mulher aproximou-se da porta do chalé e deu algumas batidinhas, esperando alguém responder. — Oi? Eu vim ajudar na reconstrução do chalé...

"What do you say we make this more interesting?" Yasemin offered as she leaned over to pick up the puck from the side of the air hockey table they'd just fired up. While she wasn't a professional air hockey player, she liked to think of herself as pretty dang good at it. The margarita that was half finished and sitting on the side of the table next to her was probably also talking just a little bit of game. "Every time someone scores, the other person has to answer a truth or do a dare." In her head, there was simply no way that she'd get scored on herself and after hanging around CJ quite a bit now, she did admittedly want to get to know him better. All in all, it felt like a win any which way.

The moment she heard about the charity event, she instantly talked with Eli and her parents about attending. For as long as she could remember, the Baileys were ardent philanthropists. Ready to donate to any charity and organization, especially those that helped the greater good. So it'd been a no-brainer when they all enthusiastically agreed to attend. Plus, it was nice to have a night with Elijah while his parents watched after the girls. Donned in a royal blue dress with some gold and pearl accessories and her hair curled and slightly pinned up, even taking advantage to wear heels to add some more height to her otherwise shorter stature, the woman had equally been spending time with her partner while also making sure to mingle. Going around the room and chatting with other guests, including some of the museum's biggest patrons and benefactors. At some point in the night, she had noticed her cousin and made sure to find a time to see her. However, what she hadn't expected was for Yasemin to be with Sage. Granted, the blonde had informed her about their shared connection through Asher. However... This certainly seemed like more than just two people who were mutually connected through the same person, and that took her back a tiny bit. Aslihan had been trying to wrap her mind around it all when she ended up spotting Sage again, sans her cousin. "Sage, hi," she said. Smiling warmly at the other, though her mind still running with questions and confusion. "You look really lovely."

SM: Yeah...
Smokescreen goes on to explain his first encounter with X. Talking about what he is, what he can do, and what he did. Including the incident where X killed Elite Guard trainies.
A: That thing lives inside you!?
R: Has it ever hurt you?
SM: X isn't a thing, and he... Well... He did hurt me a few times in the beginning. But he was only having fun, he didn't realize it wasn't fun for me. He hasn't hurt me in a long time.
BU: But he did hurt you.
SM: In the past.
R: How exactly did he hurt you.
SM: It was nothing.
UM: X would eat an important part of Smokescreen's system, let him squirm in pain for a bit, then repair the missing part.
A: That's horrible.
SM: It's fine. He thought it was a game. After I explained it to him a few times, he stopped.
UM: He's still dangerous. If not to you, than to us.
SM: He's not. He's kind. He would never hurt anyone. ... Except a Decepticon. But we all have hurt a Decepticon. Just, please, believe me. He's on our side.
OP: Why don't we hear from X himself?
UM: That's a horrible idea.
SM: That's a great idea!
Smokescreen lets X take over. X spreads across Smokescreen and completely covers him. The black and red symbiote stands before the Autobots.
X: We are X.
BU: That thing is creepy.
OP: What is your mission?
X: Our mission is to protect the host.
OP: Our?
X: That is just how we speak.
OP: Alright. And your host is Smokescreen?
X: Correct.
OP: Did you have a host before Smokescreen?
X: No.
OP: What was your mission before you found Smokescreen?
X: We don't like thinking about before we met Smokescreen...
OP: Smokescreen mentioned you were created by Shockwave. Is that why?
X: Yes. He was very cruel. Treated us like nothing. We did not know right from wrong until Smokescreen tought us.

The sound of the busy night streets grew louder as the door to the bar was opened, fading once again when the door shut behind the woman who walked through them, the sole person in the bar, other than herself, catching Sage's attention immediately from her spot in front of the bar as she cleaned up a particular mess of glasses and an abandoned pool stick by a stool. A soft smile curved on her lips, speaking out into the empty bar as the other approached, "Hey, stranger. You're lucky I forgot to lock that up when I kicked the last straggler out." Yasemin had shown up at the bar a few times since they last spoke, though there were always customers pulling her attention away and when they finally had a moment, very little was said (how did they follow up their last discussion with anything that could make them feel better about it). Though she was glad that the brunette still showed up when she found even the slightest reason to and Sage had been happy to give her any amount of fumbling small talk she'd needed to shed the stress of the day for a little. "Looks like you've got me all to yourself. It'll take a half hour maybe to close up, did you want a drink?"

Yas had met the bride-to-be but had yet to meet the groom. Today was the day she was finally meeting him, having taken time out of his busy schedule to accompany his fiancé to the potential venue. The bride had talked so much about this mystery man, she knew so much about him but she liked putting faces to names so to speak. And truthfully, she loved seeing happy couples, planning their lives together. Maybe she was living vicariously through them since her love life was in the gutter.
She was standing on the steps of the beautiful estate when a car with tinted windows pulled up. The driver got out and opened the door for his passengers. The bride slid out first, looking ravishing as always. She was very much put together, high society even. Yas offered a warm smile as she made eye contact. Then her eyes drifted over the woman’s shoulder to the man coming out after her. He didn’t see the brunette at first. She felt like her stomach had turned to stone. She fought against all instincts to tell them she couldn’t plan their wedding, to run and never look back. But she was a professional. She could do this.
The bride glided up the steps, cheerful as ever, and the groom followed standing beside her as she wrapped an arm around him. “This is my fiancé.”
Yas extended a hand to the man that had broken her heart nearly a year ago to this day. Yea, he moved on fast. “Pleasure.”

finch is the other half of tina's twin boys with yasemin. growing up, finch struggled a little as he was a bit quiet and awkward compared to his brother who was always quite popular. fox had always been yasemin's favorite as well and so, when they eventually moved in with clementine and violet, finch was so grateful for the love and acceptance that his new stepfamily showed him and became very close with them.
finch loved computers and technology and video games all his life and later got into streaming and playing online with friends he had met there. that along with his supportive family helped him finally build confidence! finch became a well-adjusted adult who was very witty and jovial. he cared deeply about his family and had great relationships with all of them. he was often the one they would go to for support and advice.
while playing games online, he met a girl named gemma who he immediately clicked with, and they would game together and talk almost every night. she ended up living just a few towns away from him and so they were able to meet and soon after began dating. they ended up falling in love, getting married, and starting a family!
finch became a successful computer engineer and he and gemma had three children: malia, danika, and tristen. finch was also like a second (better) dad to fox's son, parker, who would regularly go over to see finch whenever his parents were yelling or mistreating him. after the moms passed, finch and his family moved into the beautiful and spacious home that they had all grown up in, as a unanimous decision between all the siblings (except for fox, who was pretty salty about not getting to take it for himself).

They worked together for a while now and at first, Ruben wondered why Yasemin pretty much ignored his existence. Did she hate the French? Wouldn’t be the first time somebody had that sort of opinion. Eventually, she told him it was nothing personal. She preferred to eat lunch alone, and pretty much avoid all social-work events. That he could relate to, so they started a routine of eating lunch in silence in the staff room. Ruben slowly walked through the door and gave her a two finger salute before he grabbed his own lunch. Their silent routine had slowly worked it way up to small-talk routine. “Someone messed up all the B’s and D’s again.” he chuckled, because it was him. Words were difficult, sometimes. “Sorry I’m late. What did you bring today?”

"Honestly, I can't believe I let myself get talked into doing this," Yas admitted with a laugh as she shuffled around the kitchen getting coffee and snacks set out for Cynthia. Despite doing musical theatre all through school and even professionally for a time at Disney, there was something comical about the idea of being in a commercial now in her life. However, it was hard for her to say no when the hospital came knocking to see if she would be willing to be a part of a commercial they were looking to have filmed. Yas had trouble saying no in general, but even more so when it came to helping the hospital she worked for. If it had even the smallest chance of helping someone get better, she would always take it.
Setting the coffee cups down, Yas took a seat herself at the table, relaxing into the seat as she sipped at the coffee. "You won't make me look like a complete moron on local television, though, right?" she teased, though the small part of her that had a bit of vanity couldn't help but worry that it could end up being the case. Luckily, with Cynthia producing it, she felt comfortable that at the very least she had someone she knew overseeing the project. Inviting Cynthia over for coffee to catch up and talk about the project a bit had seemed like a perfect way to spend her morning off before the commercial got into full swing in the coming weeks.

Yasemin wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows, especially when she was placed in loud and crowded places. The stress was building, making Yas flap a few times as she was rummaging through different bags her and Emira packed. Atlas was being good as gold, but he was only breathing loudly and Yas kept shooting daggers his way. “Please, close your mouth.” she said quietly to the dog, gently scratching his chin so his tongue was blepped inside. But the moment she started looking through her bags again, Atlas’ tongue flopped back out with loud breaths. Then the lights were so bright, Yasemin thought they were going to give her a suntan and she thought she could hear them buzzing quietly even while everyone was talking. “Emira.” she snapped her sister’s name and then sighed, hating that she could feel herself getting overwhelmed. “Where’s my Switch? Did you pack it? I said it was on the kitchen counter.” Yas said even as she kept looking at Atlas as he panted. “Does he need a pee break? He’s breathing so loudly, I can’t hear myself think.”
