I think it was from C&DP but I haven't had time to really go DIG THROUGH and see - but some comic got me noticing that little underbite he does and I was like "Nope, I'm doing it forever now, what a good little detail."

Hey y’all, for those not following my Xig blog, I’ll be attempting a comeback, albeit at my own pace. Life and health issues aside, I feel I’m in a much better place mentally than I had been and I really miss rping with everyone. ♥️

Kuja's place wasn't exactly the most entertaining and when it came to finding things to do Simba was usually left to his own devices. He already knew that his fans and other shiny items were now off-limits. It was when he spotted something on a nearby desk that he figured the notebook could be played with. Kuja had said absolutely nothing about those. Taking a pen with bright pink ink in his mouth, the cub began to doodle, and to finish it up a dash of purple was added but only a small amount since it was rather difficult to get the cap off on his end due to his teeth.

Work. Work. Work. Saix had everybody doing reports and Xigbar was no exception to the rule. Feeling bored out of his mind, the lion cub padded over to the stack of papers that had been mistakenly left on the bed while the Nobody headed earlier to speak to another member, probably Xemnas he surmised. "Guess I could help out." Simba murmured picking up a pen to hold awkwardly between his teeth already starting to draw. Once he'd finished, the cub smiled. Surely Saix would know that these were from Xigbar and the quicker the second member was finished, the sooner they could both relax or play! With two final strokes a Roman numeral two was placed above the image in dark blue ink which he'd seen Xigbar add sometimes to things. "Hope Saix can say we're done after this..."

Okay so- I've noticed that a ton of the time, when you have Xigbar/Braig interacting with the other apprentices again, it usually focuses up on him with Dilan. Do you ship them? Put them together for the comedic value?? Cause it's fantastic, whatever your reason is

I do ship them-- but only in the 'past tense' sense; like bitter exes. Braig-era, with Braigxu using Dilan as a time waster while he waits for the chips to fall in line and Dilan accidentally letting him in a little too close -- and then Organization era, Xaldin not being aware of how much Xigbar had a hand in their demise so he just rolls with it. (Being nicer to him than others, etc, to tie in the manga 'friendlyish work associates' vibe they carry)

Super unhealthy tier "better for it now that they're not sharing a bed occasionally" (with Dilan returning to a "too old for this shit" life after, & Luxu's job is Active now so he can't play around with a risk factor)

In fanworks, I use the "bitter exes" vibe for all the comedy-duo moments. He's beating Xigbar with brooms cause it's more satisfying than stabbing him with a kitchen knife, etc.

their personalities of "lazy, tricky back alley rat setting up the chips to watch them fall" vs "full of himself WAR GENERAL" is just too nice to not use for comedy too sldkjfw

Just my own lil headcannon of xig/Braig scars. Keep in mind this lil Doodle aint suppose to rep their body type its mainly just to show scar placement. I hc that luxu really doesnt give a shit about his vessels, thus he tends to be kinda careless when it comes to their safety.

A drawing I made of our Xig/Harley ship (unoraptormon). Harley is an OC and a well-thought out and splendid one at that. I thought I'd make something like this for her birthday. It was a bit challenging since it was a bit different from my art style but I enjoyed it. Bodies are hard for me to draw but I think it turned out fairly well.

2023 was a disaster of a year for me for art and I just... I hope 2024 is a year of healing, rediscovery and growth. I have a mindset to get better and return to the root of just.. doing art for enjoyment so I hope that stays.

I went through a really gross friendship-breakup last December and the disappointment from that binded to all the trauma Hannibal went through this year, and I just feel like I never fully recovered from the blur that was the first quarter of the year.

I was trying to push through a lot of art block in the front half of the year and I think I finally let myself crash in October. I started really strong and kept it through July I think. In August I was doing art for ME and the like FIVE MIKEY FANS LOL and just kinda having CLASSIC Kat art fun?? And with making Lucien in May... and seeing in September just how much I wasn't pushing myself anymore... I started trying to when making Xig posts but... I lost steam pretty hard because engagement and such...

In November I was struggling because I was needing to finish up a sketchbook and, I never wanna use a sketchbook LESS than when I have one or two pages left...

December though... that doodle will post eventually but I... feel like with the art studies and the stupid Lokius AU and shit like idk. I feel like I'm gonna find my way back to liking my art again. Feeling satisfied and happy with my art... I wasn't unhappy with my art in 2021 or 2022. I've just been through a lot this year.

So here's to 2024 being better and more gracious with my mental and physical health!! Here's to new projects!! Here's to just...a happier year I hope!!

Anyway, he decided he may as well return the favor---not because he actually, like... cared, or whatever, but just because he was bored---but it did take him some time to figure out what to get her. After all, what would a little puppet girl think to be a good gift? Feeling rather clever once he'd come to his conclusion, he stealthily dropped the purple-wrapped present through a portal onto her bed, and within she would find a black journal with gold leafing, empty and ready for personal use.

   Xion had been nearly ready to snuggle up and take a nap for the rest of her off day when she heard something plop on the bed near her tiny covered form. Blinking she had sat up just as the portal closed. Was that Xigbar? She turned her gaze down to the purple gift box and crawled over to it with a soft giggle. A present for her?! 

She quickly opened the little box and gasped happily at what she found inside. A brand new journal! The ebony haired girl chuckled and pulled it out, hugging it to her chest with a big happy grin. How did he know she needed a new one? Meh, it was Xigbar after all. He always kinda knew everything.

“Hehe, th-thank you Xig.” Xion murmured to herself before finding her prettiest pen and starting a new page to jot down her thoughts, not without doodling a little Mr. Xiggy cat on the top right hand side of her paper.
