Creation is not cancelling or postponing any of the upcoming SPN conventions? They think they can "work around" the strike rules by not allowing any questions about work? Yeah, good luck with that, scabs. If the actors don't cancel their appearances at these cons, SAG-AFTRA is going to cancel THEM. I hope J2M et al know that. The strike rules specifically state "no conventions, no public appearances". Continuing to do con appearances during the strike IS crossing the picket line. It's selfish and greedy and WILL lead to any actor who appears getting thrown out of the union (making it unlikely they will ever work in Hollywood again.) #SPN

Its tricky, but conventions aren't strictly forbidden – promotion is. comic cons are strictly for promotion, so those are forbidden, but other cons aren't necessarily about promotion. the actors cannot, under any circumstances, promote or discuss any past or future roles, but can discuss their personal life and other artistic endeavours and businesses. (think misha's poetry/charity work and jensen's music/fbbc/CM or j's mantra) they could even discuss producing or directing—with no mention of specific project, writing, or acting. they would have to deny answering questions, but plenty of people ask questions about other subjects like their kids, favourite dinosaur, etc anyway.

signing of merch and misha's "cas" photo ops are something i'd have to double check, but probably not allowed. creation should be clear about that to anyone buying tickets.

ETA: forgot to add—creation should not be using the supernatural (or other projects) names anywhere during the convention. that is a big no-no—it makes it into promotional—and they would have to cancel then.
