💉i dont call myself landmine kei outside tumblr/where id be showing off my appearance even though i wear yamikawa styles and have problems with bpd and self harm because that term has always been about ILLNESS and BEHAVIORS, so posting myself to those tags would contribute to the whole jirai = fashion thing. im not going to use it in ways that would get me attention/likes for my appearance bc its not mine to "reclaim" (not like thats whats happening in japan either lol). i will sometimes tag jirai tags for non-fashion for reach and to find more mine/pien kei girls. i call myself pien kei because "pien" as a term originates with menhera girls and the feeling and the "pein kei archetype) are super relatable. i call myself menhera because i identify with the original meaning and like the art- im not using it derogatorily (but that meaning fits me too). again idc what u call urself as long as u dont push the label on others or lie about/try to change what it means!

First girly kei setup for my first ever con (Smashcon)!!! Hair is messy though since I took this when I came home after the con ended ;; It was a super fun day, got a lot of stuff and met some Holostars fans who were really sweet!!! 🥹🥹

I really liked the pic, but oh well, I think it’s all okay now, my bf and I are good now, and it’s nice I can post it on Tumblr… sorry for the vent)

New Terminology series!

After receiving multiple asks from followers about being unfamiliar with terms they see used commonly amongst Japanese girly kei wearers and terms related to tutorials that I repost, I've decided I'll be making a weekly terminology series on....

Wotakatsu (ヲタ活)！

As I've explained before, a wotaku (ヲタク) or wota is someone who is a fan of idol groups. Its meaning is similar to otaku (オタク), but was made by wota themselves to avoid the stigma of being unhealthily obsessed, creepy, and sometimes violent. "Katsu" (活), meaning "activity", in this case refers to "things done/enjoyed by wota".

Since this was such a small post, I'll probably make another wota terms post this week. If you're a wota and think you might know something that I don't, PLEASE reach out! I intend on naming types of wotakatsu and terms used by wota for wota-related objects and concepts.

Hello hello!!!!! I'm Torashii, I thought that Tumblr might be fun to do stuff on so I made a new blog c:

Things I really really really like are VTubers (Holostars and Nijisanji), Vocaloid, Project Sekai, Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side, and recently, girly kei fashion!!

I've always preferred lurking social media instead of having an online presence and doing stuff like interacting with any sorts of posts in general but y'know, doing this sort of thing might be fun y'know.

The plans I have for this blog is... aesthetic stuff? Things I find cool looking and yknow, makes my brain go, "ooh this is so mecore" or something. Well the reason I came back to Tumblr is because of girly kei fashion, and since then I've been interested in fashion and aesthetics and such....... oh and also I guess I'm using this blog for wotakatsu/oshikatsu as well? But yeah, it's mostly doing whatever really.

So yeah, hope I'll have fun here. Yoroshiku!
