If there is a tie, you, the PO, vote to break the tie. You do not, and I mean do not, just declare that the bill fails.
If you are at a tournament that doesn’t have preset precedence and recency, and you’re starting out the session, you then need to pick speakers at random. What does random mean? Random means you pick whoever stands up first. Not who you want, not someone from your school, if you need to pick from randomness, you need to pick whoever stands up first.
Do not hold grudges or try and screw over a specific speaker if you thought they did really well. I cannot stress this enough, if you pick randomly, you pick whoever stands up first

I don’t have the spoons at ALL to call Netflix after they fucked up our account and tell them to fix it but I would like to put on something for some mindless relaxation time that isn’t an asmr or gaming stream….. gonna just start pirating shit bc I’m fed up and so burnt out.
#they kicked us out of the account. our login didn’t work. I changed the login. they let us back in after the password was reset.#then they kicked us out again when I signed in on my phone instead of the tv. then they reset the account like we were creating a new one#so that it was like two accounts existed on the one email. they seemed to have deleted the ‘new’ one. then it seemed to be back.#need to get access back to the original account. but I’m so fucking fed up.#they refunded the second charge so we weren’t paying twice for it but genuinely what the fuck. fuck y’all.#anyway tldr can’t use our fucking Netflix account#and I’m so tired#like I don’t have time to explain this to underpaid customers service reps and hopefully get it fixed#bc I’m trying my best to just manage work and classes and health and whatever#god that’s so ranty it makes it sound worse than it is but the Netflix thing has me annoyed#I’d love to put the dragon prince on rn and just veg out turn my brain off#but no#laur speaks!

I swear I’m a patient person (I’m not) and I trust that it’s all for buildup and is good in the long run and will make things even juicier when the payoff comes but...
I miss season 4 Buddie :(. I think I’m gonna rewatch just season 4 because they were so cute that whole time. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love me some create distance or at least absence and snap back like a rubber band with extreme emotional intimacy and depth but...I miss my domestic buddie! They were so cute! The dynamic duo!

okay so. okay. gotta figure out how to incorporate exercising and stretching for 10-15 mins a day in to my routine.
EXERCISES:
20 pushups
20 squat-presses with a 10lbs weight
20 bent rows with a 10lbs weight
STRETCHES:
standing forward fold
forward splits stretches
modified hurdler stretch
#easy peasy right? i think a short routine is better than throwing Everything at myself n trying to get it to stick yk?#as i get stronger i’ll up the number of reps but 20 is a good starting point i think#i really gotta up the ante with my fitness cuz EMT work is physically demanding as shit#and also cuz im trying to take care of my health more rn#and i had NO PROBLEM incorporating flossing into my daily routine#bc i could just attach it to my nightime brushing#but EXERCISE??? it eludes me#for some gottdamn reason#maybe if i set an alarm.....#maybe at 12:30 i'll make a habit of. getting my little snaccy protein drink AND taking vitamins AND exercising n stretching#that seems doable tbh#okay. alarm for 12:30 every day set#we shall see!!!! we shall fucking see#whatever the fuck

#oisín.txt#i say this as someone who’s being put up for a ‘subject matter expert’ role in a tool i’ve barely used#i was talking to one of our IT reps as we’re working through technical issues with onboarding a new tool bc me and her are each other’s#point people rn so it’s just constant troubleshooting together#and she was talking about one of those rectangles that show up when the OS doesn’t recognize a value/symbol#and she was like ‘why would someone type this…… what would this like even be for…..’ and i was trying to explain that computers return that#when they can’t read the symbol and she was like What..#like girl YOU’RE tech support 😭 i’m a number cruncher 😭#i also had to explain read receipts to her
