Wooo wordgirl oc redesign!!
He used to be a villain but I redesigned him so he's just an ex-scientist instead. Also he's Amazon Guy's younger brother and he used to be Steven's lab partner before he got turned into Two-Brains, that's when he quit. He's now the science teacher at Woodview elementary and basically tries to mind his own business half the time (more info on him in the pictures if u can read my handwriting LMFAO)
Also yes I ship him with Two-Brains what did u expect from me
I'll probably post more of him, like him in wordgirl scenes

The Fall of Fair City - Chapter 26
The officers and the villainess just stared, blinking, still in a dazed look of shock. "So I'm not going to jail?" Miss Question asked. "That's correct." The police commissioner grunted. After a few minutes, Miss Question shook out her shocked state and then smirked with wicked glee. "Did you honestly think you all could stop me without Wordgirl around? Ta ta." With that Miss Question manifested her question mark board, hopped on it, and soared away with a victorious cackle. One of the officers, still dumfounded by the whole thing, turned to Commisioner Watson, trying to find a reason for the man's bizarre and illogical decision. "Um sir what just happened? Why did you let Miss Question go free?" Commissioner Watson glared annoyed at the officer, pretending to be angry at the questioning of his judgement. "I had good reason to do so. No more questions! Now everyone return to your regular duties." The officers looked wary but ultimately they nodded and returned to their respective duties. Either heading on patrol or back to the police department for paper work. Commissioner Watson got to his car and sat down. He made a quick look around to see if anyone was lingering about. When the coast was clear, Watson put his phone back to his ear. "I did what you wanted." The police commissioner spoke, his face and tone reflecting shame and defeat. "Excellent. Thank you kindly Commissioner Watson." The mysterious caller congratulated the man in a tone that would have sounded sincere if the police commissioner didn't suspect the caller was taunting and teasing him after his own embarrassing deed. "Now," The mysterious caller spoke, their tone dropping to something sinister. "I want you to do one more favor for me." Fair City was abuzz with information and gossip the next coming days and throughout the week after. Most what was featured in the daily news and what people were spreading around were how some of the local villains seemed to be getting off scot free of their crimes or attempted crimes. Some were beginning to grow concerned and doubtful of the representatives in the justice system. Others were making fun of the mistakes those like Judge Homesfield and Commissioner Watson made. Though no one could find nor discern the exact reason behind these unnatural actions. Another growing worry that was adding on to the latest news was that certain people over different seats of power not directly connected to the government were behaving strangely. If observed for long enough, it would seem that these people were constantly on alert, looking over their shoulders from time to time as if someone or something was just around the corner, ready to pounce. The only reason people in this city were not beginning to panic was due to seeing the local hero Wordgirl acting completely like herself. She was able to handle other villains she faced with no trouble and seemed to now worry about the strange behaviors and actions of several prominent citizens. This gave some comfort to the people of Fair City. 'Wordgirl can handle anything.' They thought. 'If she isn't worried why should i be.' Unbeknownst to them, Wordgirl wasn't even focused and only somewhat aware, but not overly concerned, of the sudden strangeness happening in Fair City. At the moment, they young heroine had other worries on her mind that were of high importance to her. "Scandal At The Bank: City Bank Manager Charles Dalton donated a large sum of $100,000 in cash to the villainous duo Rhyme and Reason when they were in the middle of attempting a robbery. Mr. Dalton then sent the villains on their way quoting a poem in the form of a song. Mr. Dalton has declined to comment on his strange actions! Holy cow Becky! Can you believe this actually happened out of the blue." Todd Scoops Ming spoke with astonishment as his friend Becky walked into Woodview Elementary's school newsroom, home of The Daily Rag. @melodythebunny @erraticeris

worg oc toony lore :3
so basicallyyyyy
Their first time meeting was when one day Toony was introduced to Woodview Elementary as a transfer student from Japan. She saw Tobey in the middle of doodling a picture of him and WordGirl kissing in his notebook and immediately sat next to him. Cuz y'know, she likes art too. She took a peek at his notebook and in her mind she was like "hmm cute nerdy boy likes local superhero? Kawaii!!!"
Prior to moving to Fair City, she read about WordGirl and the villains from a newspaper she got at the airport. She immediately recognized Tobey's face and thought, "Hmm... interesting..."
English isn't her first language, but she's been studying it for a few years. That's pretty much why she asked Tobey after class if he knew how to speak her language. Of course, Tobey is confused, so she translates what she was trying to communicate to him. Tobey says he doesn't understand Japanese, but Toony says she'll teach him anyway just for fun. She also asks him to be her friend, and although Tobey hesitates because he finds her just a little bit quirky, he decides to be her friend anyway.
They make plans to go to Tobey's house after school to finish their homework, but really, Toony just wants to find out his big secret... which she probably already knows.
Part 2 coming soon!

I know that I literally just made my first post about Marleen and yall know like... little to nothing about her but I already have incorrect quotes of her
(Just about all of these are just either Mari hating everyone and/or having anger issues)
-----
Marleen: Are those birds outside chirping a little too loud? WELL JUST FUCKING KILL THEM!
-----
Ms. Davis: If Marleen has 6 times three bottles of dish soap, how many bottles of dish soap does she have?
Becky: Wait, why does Marleen have so many soaps?
Marleen, across the classroom, surrounded by bottle of soap: MIND YOUR BUSINESS BITCH!
-----
Marleen: Gimme the knife so I can kill you.
Violet: No! Ask to borrow it.
Marleen: *sigh* Can I borrow it?
Violet: Here you go! AAAAAAA-
-----
Scoops: So, what's the best kind of firework to buy?
Marleen: Wouldn't YOU like to know weather boy.
Scoops:
...Where are your parents?
-----
Marleen: I'm not gonna talk to you, I'm not gonna con-ver-sate with you-
WG: I think it's converse.
Marleen: ...What?
WG: Just say talk.
-----
TV: Who's that Pokémon?
Marleen: IT'S PIKACHU!
TV: It's clefairy!
Marleen: FUUUUUUUCK!
-----
Marleen: It's just, I love going to Woodview Elementary, well all have a lot of laughs.
Marleen: Fuck off Violet, I'm not going to your fucking birthday party.

“let that sink in” -- Judge
Trevor Alan Teets, Ohio inmate A722459, born 1995, incarceration intake in 2017 at age 22, sentenced to Life; subject to parole consideration as of 01/25/2033
Murder, Involuntary Manslaughter
Trevor Alan Teets, who was found guilty of the murder of Alicia Marie Pentecost-Salyers, was sentenced to 18 years to life in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court.
Teets, of Circleville, shot Alicia Marie Pentecost-Salyers, 19, at Woodview Estates on South Court Street on Feb. 1, 2015. Teets was found guilty of murder, involuntary manslaughter and a charge of domestic violence.
Before Judge P. Randall Knece delivered his sentence to Teets, Teets’ attorney, Jo Hans-Kaiser, asked the judge to consider Teets’ past. She said Teets just turned 22 this month and has lived in Circleville his entire life. He graduated from Westfall High School where he participated in band, wrestling, football and was often on the honor roll. He had no criminal history.
“He moved in with a girl and things were going well and then they weren’t,” Hans-Kaiser said. “Two lives were forever changed.”
Hans-Kaiser went on to say that the event that occurred would likely never occur again and it was a set of circumstances gone completely wrong and Teets has shown genuine remorse for his actions.
Against the advice of his attorney, Teets decided to speak to the courtroom because he felt it was the right thing to do.
“I do love Alicia,” Teets said. “I will always love Alicia. She comes to me in my dreams at night and tells me it’s okay and she loves me. I feel for her everyday. I don’t hurt for myself, I don’t feel the pain through myself. I feel the pain for all these people here.”
Teets turned to Alicia’s family and asked for forgiveness.
“I would never do this, I didn’t,” he said.
Teets went on to say he wanted to do things in his life that no one in his family had done and wanted Alicia by his side.
“Things got out of hand and I don’t know what happened,” Teets said. “All I know is I am here and Alicia is gone.”
Judge Knece cut him off and said the family had been put through enough.
Knece made it clear that his hands were tied in the sentencing because of the state statute and that Teets would get 15 years to life with an additional three years added on for a gun specification. He then explained to Teets that the parole authority can hold him for the rest of his life and what Teets said in the courtroom would be typed up and sent to the parole board so they can see how arrogant he is and the lack of remorse he has.
Knece said that he would also write a letter to the parole board for when his time is up for parole. He told Teets to “let that sink in” and that he committed a “selfish act.”

The Kids In The WordKnight AU
Just me exploring what some of the kid characters would be like in this small au of mine. hope you don't mind me sharing ^_^ If you're interested then you can click continue reading, if you aren't, then just scroll down.
Tumblr media
Violet Heaslip:
Violet is a shy, timid, often soft-spoken 10-year-old. She doesn't have any friends outside her small social circle, which only consists of her, Becky, and Scoops. Violet was born into and raised in a crime focused, cultist group for 2/3 of her life. The cult she was in used to be a big deal in fair city, and Becky just happened to be targeting the organization in her first few months as WordKnight. Because of how she was raised in her cult, and what she was told to believe, Violet has a hard time telling the difference of what is good, and what is bad, her moral compass is all wacked up. Not to mention she's having a hard time fitting into normal society, especially when she's so fidgety, unhinged, and distrustful of others.
Violet always knew that there's something off about her cult and with what they do but she never understood why. She never knew what was so wrong with her cult, why so many people hated it, or why it was considered a good thing it fell apart and all the adult members got arrested.

Violet was enrolled on Woodview elementary school a few months after the fall of her cult. That's where Becky immediately recognised her, and befriended her, along with their school newspaper reporter, Scoops. Violet currently lives in an orphanage that resides near the outskirts of Fair city.
Tumblr media
Todd "Scoops" Ming:
Scoops is a 10-year-old boy. He's the son of David Watson, the commissioner of Fair city's police force. Scoops got adopted when he was six right after his parents passed away in the Particle accelerator explosion. He works as the main news reporter for the Daily Rag, his articles often have the most reads in school, giving rise to Scoops' popularity among the students there. But while he does look and act like your standard kid news reporter, there's so much more hidden beneath his mask, or in this case, beneath his fedora hat.
He's so much smarter than people give him credit for. Because he's the son of a police commissioner, Scoops himself has developed a skill of solving mysteries just from watching his father work. In a hidden corner of his room, he has various newspapers, pictures, and locations all attached to the wall with a string of red wool to tie them all together. He had solved and reported several mysteries on his own and runs an anonymous true-crime blog where he would share clues he'd find on the crime, write articles, sometimes he would share theories. He doesn't share them at the Daily Rag though, never at the Daily Rag. Even if the news he had from reporting those mysteries can get a lot more publicity for both him and the school's newspaper organisation.
he current mystery he's been working on is the ever so mysterious, 'urban legend' of Fair city... WordKnight. While most people would say there is no such thing as WordKnight, and it's just a myth to scare criminals, Scoops knows that's not true, he's found it somewhat ridiculous most citizens of Fair city doesn't even notice the sudden drop of it's crime rate. He has run several theories of whom WordKnight might be, what their goal is, and where do they come from. He even attended the places that allegedly has the most sightings of the Knight. He'd come up with a bunch of leads but those leads often led him to a dead-end, giving him more questions that answers.
But Scoops was never the type of person to just give up, he WILL find out who WordKnight is, he WILL the mysteries revolving around them.
Tumblr media
Victoria Best:
Victoria Best was born into one of the most prominent, wealthy, and powerfully influential families in Fair city. She's the child of Frederick and Margaret Best, ̶a̶l̶o̶n̶g ̶w̶i̶t̶h ̶h̶e̶r ̶b̶r̶o̶t̶h̶e̶r, ̶𖤺𖤺𖤺𖤺𖤺𖤺𖤺𖤺, ̶b̶u̶t ̶w̶e ̶̶n̶̶e̶̶e̶̶d̶̶n'̶̶t ̶w̶o̶r̶r̶y ̶a̶b̶o̶u̶t ̶̶h̶̶i̶m.
Since Victoria is her parents' only child, that makes her the heiress to her parents' company, and family fortune. She has somewhat of an unhealthy obsession with being the 'best' at everything, even though that's not really true. She acts like the popular, mean girl from your typical, cheesy, early 2000's highschool romcom movie. But she's much more cunning than that, the whole mean girl thing is a front she puts up so people don't realise is just how manipulative she is.She'll actively lie to you, make excuses, strategically share facts and withhold truths just for your own downfall. She'll undermine you, and will make you question your own reality, make you think your crazy and that everyone around you know isn't very true, causing you to go after her because she's the only 'reliable' source of truth despite you knowing her reputation amongst the school. She almost has everyone wrapped around her little finger, except for a few certain students but no one really pays attention to them.
While she's your typical mean girl at day, she's a villain at night (some nights). She wears a disguise and goes by the name of Hypno-Muse. Like in the show she uses a flute when she goes out as a villain, the music played by her flute would have a little hint of binaural beats in them always playing at a certain frequency, this would weakens the victim's mental barrier between conscious and subconscious. Alter the state of the victim's mind that makes them very responsive to hypnotic suggestions. Basically doing everything she tells them to do.

She has haunted and terrorised Fair city for years now. Using her hypnosis abilities to get what she wants. Though she's rated a quirky second-class villain because she's a child. Not that Victoria cares, why would she need to be the best when she's not even being Victoria?
...
...
That's kind of all I have for now. Since this is a first draft of what the character are like in the au, I might probably change them around, maybe redesigns and back story rewrites too. I'm currently working on Tobey, Eileen, and Rex.
pls let me know what you think, and tell me what parts I can improve. It would be very much appreciated (ʘᴗʘ✿)

Capture the Flag - A WordGirl Comic
1/??
Happy Pride Month, WordGirl fandom! (Hush, child. I’m well aware that it’s the last day of Pride Month. /lh) I’ve got another comic that I’d like to share with y’all! It’s a continuation of my previous comic Tobey Becomes Emo. If you haven’t read that comic already, feel free to do so at your leisure.
Now, without any further ado, I present to you... Capture the Flag!  🏳️‍🌈
Tumblr media
Narrator: It has been a month since Woodview Elementary’s Class of 2002 has graduated. Former 5th-grader, Victoria Best, has been using this time to reminisce about her elementary school days. Minus the drama and emotional neglect from her overbearing parents, the blonde-haired girl still enjoyed her time at Woodview. Due to being a social butterfly, Victoria was able to make friends quite easily. However, there was this one girl that stood out from the rest. She was compassionate, pulchritudinous, and not to mention intelligent. The girl never saw eye-to-eye with Victoria thanks to her boastful nature, but she never loathed her company. Phone calls from this girl have been becoming more and more frequent these past few days. And the blonde-haired girl cherishes every conversation. As a result, Victoria has started to listen to her heart.
Tumblr media
(Victoria clears her throat.)
Victoria: Dear Becky Botsford,
I’m putting my arrogance aside to write you this letter. Now, I’m not the best with words by any means (that’s your department), but I will say that you're the best person I’ve ever met. You’re ambitious, quick-witted, compassionate, and just downright-
(Victoria clears her throat yet again.)
Oh geez, my throat is parched. I shouldn’t snack on salty crackers anymore. I need to get a glass of water.
(Victoria exits her bedroom.)
Tumblr media
(Victoria’s letter reads, “Dear Becky Botsford, I’m putting my arrogance aside to write you this letter. Now, I’m not the best with words by any means (that’s your department), but I will say that you're the best person I’ve ever met. You’re ambitious, quick-witted, compassionate, and just downright beautiful. However, I still can’t shake the feeling that you weren’t born on this planet. Your flawless vocabulary makes you stand out from the rest. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I admire your immense lexicon. During our conversations over the phone, you would use words that I’d never even heard of before. And when I would ask you to define a word for me, you wouldn’t hesitate to do so. Now, before I finish writing this letter, I’d like to ask you a serious question. Would you like to go out on a date with me? It’s been a while since we’ve seen each other in person. Love, Victoria.”)

Victor:  Heh heh… Oh, Vicky. So naive. You’re in for an odious awakening.
Tumblr media
Narrator: Meanwhile, at the Botsford residence, Becky “WordGirl” Botsford is currently working on a letter for a special someone.
Becky: Could you please pan the camera over to TJ? Having a camera in my face while I’m working on something is very cringe-inducing to me. Understood?
Narrator: Oh... okay.
TJ: What’s up with her?
Tumblr media
Narrator: Just... stick to the script.
TJ: Alright. Now, what was my line again? Ah yes, I remember.

Greetings and salutations, folks! And welcome to the first episode of…

TJ: Johnson? Where did you go?
Johnson: H-Here I am!
TJ: Hmm?
Tumblr media
Johnson: I’m so sorry for the hold-up, TJ. I was having trouble finding an apron. The rest of the aprons were in your laundry bin, so I had n-no choice but to dart back home to retrieve this apron I’m wearing now. D-Does it look bad on me?
...
Hey, man. Are you feeling okay?
TJ: Y-Yeah, I’m okay! No worries! Haha!
To be continued...

Fox, Cree Summer, James Garner, Leonard Nimoy, Don Novello, Phil Morris, Claudia Christian, Jacqueline Obradors, Jim Varney (in his final film role), Florence Stanley, John Mahoney, David Ogden Stiers and Corey Burton. WordGirl (stylized as W✪RD GIRL) is an American children’s flash-animated superhero television series produced by the Soup2Nuts animation unit of Scholastic Entertainment for PBS Kids.[1] The series began as a series of shorts entitled The Amazing Colossal Adventures of WordGirl that premiered on PBS Kids Go! on November 10, 2006, usually shown at the end of Maya & Miguel; the segment was then spun off into a new thirty-minute episodic series that premiered on September 3, 2007 on most PBS member stations. The series of shorts consisted of thirty episodes, with 130 episodes in the full half-hour series.
WordGirl creator Dorothea Gillim felt that most children's animation "underestimated [children's] sense of humor" and hoped to create a more intellectual show for young audiences.
The series follows WordGirl, a girl with superpowers whose secret identity is Becky Botsford, student. WordGirl was born on the fictional planet Lexicon (also a term referring to the vocabulary of a language or to a dictionary) but was sent away after sneaking onto a spaceship and sleeping there. Captain Huggy Face, a chimpanzee who was a pilot in the Lexicon Air Force, piloted the ship, but lost control when WordGirl awoke, and crash-landed on Earth (more specifically in Fair City), a planet that affords WordGirl her superpowers, including flight and super strength. WordGirl utilizes these powers to save her adoptive home, using her downed spacecraft as a secret base of operations.[citation needed]
WordGirl was adopted and provided an alter ego by Tim and Sally Botsford, who gave her the name Becky. While in her alter ego, she has a younger brother, TJ, obsessed with WordGirl, but still unknowingly a typical sibling rival to Becky. The Botsford family keeps Captain Huggy Face as a pet, naming him Bob. Becky attends Woodview Elementary School, where she is close friends with Violet Heaslip and the school newspaper reporter Todd “Scoops” Ming.[citation needed]

Ignorant Bliss AU
This au I made on Discord combining my friend melody's highschool au idea with an amnesia au. Revised a little bit to make it more angsty. So in this au Amirana as a teen has quickly wisened up and she hates the traditions and life she is forced into by her family who has no regards for her feelings. Also Navren is still a jerk in this au. She wants to get away from it all and go on a journey of exploration and hopefully find a planet that will let her just be herself. She stole a Lexiconian space craft and began her excursion. She unfortunately got caught in a solar storm that sent her ship plummeting to Earth where she crash landed. Unlike Huggy's crash, this was more severe as her ship was destroyed. Amirana climbed out, still alive but heavily injured she walked slowly towards Fair City where she fell unconscious onto a sidewalk. She was found by worried and concerned Bampy Botsford and his son Tim. They took her to a hospital. When Amirana woke up, she had no memory of her life befor the crash. She didn't even remember what caused her injuries. She didn't recall her name nor her own species. She was taken care of at the hospital and made a full physical recovery. Thought the issue was since she was a minor and had no family to claim her yet. She would have to be sent to an orphanage or foster family. Bampy not wanting the poor kid to be alone, talked with his wife and kids about the situation. Thus Teresa Botsford was with her new family and lived the normal life of an earth woman. She went to high school and college in Fair City. She discovered her powers but out of fear did not tell her family because she was afraid of being cast aside for being not normal. She believes she is a meta human. Bampy finds out during the episode "Bampy Battles Bots." Teresa takes a job as a teacher in Fair City at Woodview. Like in my theory, she meets Steven Boxleitner when she saved the distracted scientist from nearly getting hit by a truck. Teresa does become a hero in this au after hearing about Steven's theories and analysis about heroes and villains. Her hero name is Wordwoman because of her love of words. Steven knows about Teresa's powers because she asked for his help in using them and controlling them. Steven respected her decision not to tell her family, he still believes she should tell them and that they will still love her regardless. The Botsfords love Steven. Teresa was a bridesmaid at her siblings wedding and Tim and Sally were part of her wedding party when she married Steven. In this au Teresa does become pregnant with Becky before she and Steven marry but Becky is born after the wedding during the early part of Teresa's first trimester. Becky becomes Wordgirl and her mom's partner when she gets older. I haven't decided yet where Steven still becomes Two Brains or not but if he does, it's only minor angst. Teresa during her life has vague flashbacks of her former life but nothing sustains long enough for her to fully recall anything. Her past starts to come back when a certain monkey space pilot crashes to Earth when her daughter is 11 years old. @melodythebunny @drtwobrainsstuff @blueweirdness
