Now I just gotta run these puppies through the usual channels, see if anyone wants to buy, and they'll hopefully be off to their new homes!
I've mostly sold online or through word of mouth until now, but I think I'm also going to start looking for local shops that might be interesting in partnering up, especially in summer when a lot of tourists show up and go shopping. Hell, maybe I'll gather a bunch of carvings and get a booth at one of the local art festivals! Who knows!

Ceauru, Romania
The entry porch and double doors are decorated with intricate wood carvings including a spiral motif around the arched opening and other edges. Incised patterns fill other surfaces. The doors are panelled below and open with grille-work above, decoratively fabricated. Even the roof shingles are decorative, each with a shaped bottom edge.

The beauty of African Art
A few of the beautiful pieces of art and artifacts we have added to our Ibezimako Villa so far. Many were found at the Lekki Arts & Crafts Market, but we also found lots of goodies from artisans at Eleko beach and from our travels in Tanzania.

Stara Džamija, Wooden entry portal for the mosque
Plav, Montenegro
This view shows the mosque entry in 1988. The upper level is the gallery for women to pray and is reached by a stair within the space. The decorative carvings of the columns and arched panels reveal the rich motifs that are found using patterns in nature. The circular disks with curving rays are similar to the patterns that one sees in the dances of the 'whirling dervishes'.
