I promised myself I would make an intro post with my fic list when I hit a followers milestone, and lo and behold, the time has come to make good on that promise.
(Breathe in. You got this, Dor. Ok, here we go.)
Welcome, friends. If you followed me sometime in the last year and a half, here’s a funny story for you: I used to write Witcher fics (a lot even, at one point) (and I pray I will write again, though at the moment brain be words what no speaky English). (But I digress.)
What you can find on my blog: shitposting, sarcasm, salt—and Ciri. A lot of Ciri. (Often tagged as: "brat <3". No reason.) Also, many Ciri pairings. We support most Ciri pairings in this house.
What you can find on my AO3: Also a lot of Ciri in different pairings, or sometimes in multiple pairings, as (a) I am a multishipper and (b) Ciri is bi and can do no wrong and (c) has two hands and a hatred for cages and also (d) poly/open relationships are the new love triangles and we need more of them, actually.
Specifically:
"Blood Ties" verse, aka Queen of Cintra verse (aka mammoth), or a 100k words novel in three parts about what happens if neither witchering nor ruling the empire (nor dying, I guess) fully satisfies our girl's ambitions. (Answer: let’s go and shake up the geopolitical landscape of the post-TW3 Continent, reclaim your throne, piss off Dijkstra in the process, make new allies and enemies both, grow and heal, get what you wanted, find indulgence, and also love. Ships aplenty, including some nobody else thought of. Just saying.)
"Broken Pieces" verse, or what happens if Cahir survives, but somewhat fails to move on (he tries), and Ciri fails to be indifferent (she also tries). (Answer: witchering shenanigans, but also some family reunions, Ceallach being a Smart Cookie, Geralt being the Daddest Dad, Ciri being a brat, but also right, but also needing a reality check and to get her head out of her ass. Spoiler alert: happy/bittersweet ending. It’s Witcher-verse, after all.)
"Splinters" verse, or what happens when the author develops a brainrot. (Answer: modern!AU with the main theme being: everyone is thirsty for Cahir/Eamon’s hands. Banter, pinning, thirst, smut, and more banter. Past that comes back to bite everyone in the ass, heartbreak, and a happy ending. Always a happy ending. And Angouleme being the Best Gremlin.)
“The Ghost of You”, or what happens when Ciri gets Ideas, and tries to use Cahir to get what she wants. (Formerly known as the Cancel WIP. Mind the tags with this one; set during LotL, unhealthy coping mechanisms aplenty, trauma and PTSD galore, leading to the first steps of healing. It’s always, always about healing with these two.)
“Sing To Me In The Dark”, or what happens if Cahir finds himself in Kaer Morhen to help defend it from the Hunt. (Answer: the author wants to know too. Although the author mostly knows, but brain no speaky English, see above.)
“Hunter’s Moon”, or what happened in Beauclair during the hansa stay there, from the point of view of a certain succubus. (Answer: a certain vampire attempting to be a smartass, not always succeeding; smut and banter, and more smut. Also, a heartbreak.)
If you like any of the above and tell me about it, chances are I’ll be making you a birthday gift the following year.

tried the 2.1 updates with my male!v playthrough (still havent come up with his name and all ive been grinding levels n upgrading my cyberware) n did THE HANGOUTSSSSS here are my thoughts: i LOVEEE how cute it is <3333 i missed my bf n gf...
seeing kerry n panam upclose 🤭🤭 picked such apt actions honestly... but i was like 🙄🙄🤨🤨 PLEASE v is soooo seducing kerry WHY DOES IT NOT END UP IN A SEX SEQUENCE . WHATS WITH THE TWO THIGH HOLD ?;!3@,&/@; anyway . i havent seen if panam does the mirror thing but omfg. WHEN KERRY CAME UP TO V AND CALLED V NIGHT CITYS BAD BOY???? i am floored . i am dead . also offended that i could look down at panam while we shower but not kerry . cdpr just say u hate gay men 😪😪😪 also i realised they react to v not having clothes on KDJSKFKEKFKE panam said smth along the lines of reading her mind (sorry i forgot) but kerry just vocalises a mhm LMFAO.. but man... much more stuff could have been added to these 'dates' though, but i'm enjoying how pretty kerry and panam looks upclose..... anyway cdpr could have implemented this a long time ago tbh, alongside the new metro thing... bc like yeah wow im enjoying that there's more immersion but it's still just... That. and it's been two(?) years since release n theyre only giving us this NOW... like man cyberpunk would have been ahead of its time if it released all these features from 2.1 and the dlc back when it was JUST released 😔 it's an improvement yes, but tbh these stuff were ALL expected then during promos and stuff </3 BUT despite my complaints (bc ive been following this game pre-launch as an avid enjoyer of witcher 3)... there's reasons why i've clocked 300+ hours in this game 😭😭😭😭 brainrot.... i love these characters so much n the whole setting of it all.. it's still such a beautiful game regardless of its flaws

Tumblr, I have accidentally discovered the greatest AAA RPG of the past six years.
This game marries the mechanical complexity of old-school isometric CRPGs with the accesibility of modern titles, absolutely gorgeous, high production value visual design, an insanely immersive open world and a thoughtful, well-written story that successfully blends high-fantasy roleplaying with psychological horror, resulting in playthroughs lasting upwards of 100 hours.
The problem is that this seminal masterpiece, which I wouldn't hesitate to mention in the same breath (and in some aspects, maybe rate higher!) as titles like the Mass Effect series or The Witcher 3...
is a fucking free-to-play Skyrim mod.
A total conversion mod, to be specific, called Enderal: The Shards of Order, currently available on Steam under the name Enderal: Forgotten Stories, where it comes bundled with its DLC (!?!?!??).
You might think I am joking.
I am not.
You might think that I am using hyperbole above.
I am not.
It's free to download as a standalone if you own a copy of either edition of Skyrim on PC, but it's well worth even the asking price of purchasing Skyrim - even if you never intend to play it. This game is kind of to Skyrim what Fallout: New Vegas was to Fallout 3, but that's selling Enderal short. If you enjoy CRPGs and the drought of any high-value productions in recent years is getting to you, you owe it to yourself to play this. It's not flawless, of course - no game is - but any issues you might have are far outweighed by the innumerable strengths this game has. This game would be worth the price if it was available for $60. For a free title, this game is unmatched for value paid.
I downloaded this game recently, thinking it would be an OK way to pass some time. Instead, I was blown away by something that filled all crawings I had towards RPGs for years now. My recommendation could not be stronger and considering the severity of brainrot this thing has given me, I will be probably posting more about it in the future.
Please, play this game. Walk blessed, Prophet.

i have witcher brainrot real bad GRANTED i had the brainrot the majority of 2020 and it like came back fighting for its life BUT STILL. like i have never felt more at home in a fandom and i EXCITEDLY show that because goddammit i need to just BE and hyperfixate as much as i want!!! if anyone doesn't like it they can leave my happy lil greenhouse because i will be DAMNED if i hide my personality ever again!

i take good care of people even though it took a long time for people to take care of me, yanno? it took an even longer time for me to take care of myself but for once i feel like i'm not a burden and i just exist regardless of what anyone else thinks. i take care of my own and even those who are not my own because everyone is deserving of care and love.
i used to always worry that people would find me too harsh, too blunt, standoffish, etc until i finally started making actual friends. can you believe that i, the ray of sunshine, took nearly 22 years to make ACTUAL friends who care about me? i fucked it all up solely because i blamed myself for things i literally have no control over (a lot of it pertaining to me being autistic and needing to get it in my head that i am wonderful and deserving). now here i am 2 days from 24 and i am DELIGHTED and i have genuine friends here and at home, i talk openly about my feelings and my likes and i'm better at telling people when I've had enough etc.
for the first time, in a long time, i actually agree when people say i'm kind, gentle, approachable, soft, etc. because for once i am those things because fuck it. i'm allowed to think of myself as something---someone---soft because i am and gods i'm proud of me and i'm also RAMBLING.
but, yes, your assumptions are correct and you opened a little can of 'kit doesn't shut the fuck up' but yknow it's FINE, i'm cute so it doesn't matter <3
