and i would die for jack-o-moon

look at them

they look so cool

i love the colors, they feel like a reference to how the fandom drew eclipse before Ruin! (which makes sense since jack-o-moon kinda looks like the bb minigame eclipse)

Edit: thinking about it, why is this guy's name jack o Moon?

Like this is Sun's model repainted, it doesn't have a nightcap, why would this guy be named "Moon" then?

17. What fic are you most proud of?

Right now? It’s a toss-up between Time Will Tell and Side Deck. Time Will Tell was my first (and maybe last attempt) at a big bang fic, and I did so much planning for it. Side Deck is just my baby at this point. It’s the culmination of a lot of headcanons about how they might enter into a romantic relationship from a post-canon but canon-compliant (other than DSOD) context. Take all that manga and DM anime continuity and mix it into one truckload of continual character growth and transformation.

18. What is a line/scene you’re really proud of? Give us the DVD commentary for that scene.

The rewrite of the Battle City Battle Royale duel to determine the lineup of the finals as seen in chapter 4 of The tomorrows we’ll never have. Like I really wanted to tweak that battle just by the barest margin, while recontextualizing some of the canon actions and dialogue in light of Kaiba’s new motivation to keep Jounouchi from dueling Malik. It was an interesting challenge as I still wanted to get to my desired outcome without having to rewrite everyone’s decks. Because the point was that Kaiba’s motivation in that duel has changed, but almost everyone was trucking down their canon roads.

Anyhoo, here’s a pic from my notes where I tried to map out the lifepoints and attacks and such. You can still see the erased smudges from where I tried several variations of changes. The numbers starting from 10 are the turn number as documented in the YGO wikia.
