CAREER ON PAUSE

Going into my last semester of college ever and I have been a temp at a world renowned music company. (lets call it Yonsmusik) 

having been offered a full time position once I graduate, I couldn't be happier. 

*Enter Covid-19* 

AKA The Rona 

dream job has been put on hold due to a “hiring freeze” and I'm left in my temp state.

Candle Review #1: Pumpkin Clove

I just received my first order of the White Barn’s 2019 fall scents and first up is Pumpkin Clove. 

The look of this candle is a bit plain for the White Barn. But what this candle lacks in aesthetic, it makes up for in warm, fall feelings. True to its name, pumpkin and clove are both fragrance notes that hit strong. What’s unexpected: after-notes of nutmeg and cinnamon which cut smoothly through the sharpness of the clove.

This candle lights extremely well and fills the room with warm, spiced pumpkin. Nutmeg and cinnamon are used perfectly in this candle to ensure that its spiced characteristics don’t cut too sharp. Much like an orchestra whose parts are compiled into a beautiful symphony, Pumpkin Clove takes the best characteristics of each autumn spice and, in front of a backdrop of pumpkin, creates a wonderful concerto of all that is fall.
