ok so the way i draw imo looks pretty reminiscent of wild grinders, and looking at these drawing guides, I wasn't super wrong but theres also a bunch of things id never do lmao. like my straight lines need curves the clothes need to be baggy always girl but ehem that being said, some of the wrong drawings look like they drew them using the line tool without sketching them first which can lead to some pretty strange things lol, especially the one of emo cries hands with like 4 fingers on one hand and the other being a cube like ive totally made that before by accident lmao and they thought i wouldnt see they used the god damn square tool on those perfectly rectangular fingers.
anyway sorry for the long ask but got any particularly poorly drawn/animated scenes?

My intention for the post was mostly to compare the art styles AND animation. It really was not faithful to Tracy's original style. (And I forgot to erase the 'wrong' red text from the screenshot). We all have our preferences in art styles, and obviously Tracy's style appeals to me the most.
Mostly because every 'good western-animated cartoon' is some hybrid of Pixar/Steven Universe/SVTFOE's smooth and rounded style. Blocky, straight lines is avoided in animation for a lot of good reasons. But if done correctly, it's unique and captivating (in my opinion). One of my ideal examples to use is Motorcity as reference to the the edgy animation style.
Other western animated series (I can remember form the top of my head) that use straight edgy lines and still look good include

Would include PSG as well, but it's not actually a western cartoon.
Anyways, Tracy Tubera's art style is my favorite type of edgy-lined illustration due to the lack of it in most cartoon animation.
There's nothing wrong about baggy and wrinkled clothes, or curved lines in art. However, the [unknown artist/animator] from my last post wasn't able to capture the dynamic energy of Tracy's non-animated illustration. Basically the illustration didn't translate accurately into the animation.
As for the poorly-animated scenes request, it's not really my place to do that because I don't make GIFs. And if you've watched Wild Grinders, then you're kinda aware that most of it is already poorly animated in Adobe Flash. My job here is to find the decent animations, not the poorly-animated parts.
I can still find poorly-drawn parts, but finding scenes is kinda easy.
But yeah the [unknown artist] really was the 'break or make' of the TV animation.

how bad are things going to look for us when real madrid inevitably signs mbappé? obviously he's a top player but how much will he bring to their team, especially against us? they already have a strong left wing (just ignore this question if i'm being obnoxious by asking lol i'm just wondering if you have any thoughts)
Aaah anon, the billion dollar question, to which I'm real not qualified to answer. I don't know jack shit about this.
All I can say is he's a phenomenal player, but as we saw before with a certain team, getting a bunch of world-talented players together doesn't equal success. You gotta balance the team. It's like if City got him; how on earth do you make Mbappé and Haaland play at the same time, when Pep hasn't even found a sure way to play Julian and Haaland yet. To me tho, I think it can be interesting what could come up with him going to Madrid. Vini has taken the left wing and I don't see him moving any time soon; he's getting better and better by the week. But you don't buy Mbappé for him to stay on the bench. So the only thing I can see would be, esp since the retirement of Benzema, for him to serve as a "striker" or a similar positionnement, esp since he can drop deep as he did in PSG. He doesn't have the experience of Benzema or such, but it's a start. Plus with the midfield they're building, the front would be served well. And, if needed, he could go on the wing. Now idk how Ancelotti could do it, idk how Mbappé would accept it (he wouldn't have the disrespect to do a pivot gang, which by the way I am still astounded he did, since Madrid is, unlike PSG a serious institution where no player whatsoever, be they Ronaldo, Hazard or Benzema, is above the club and the team.) and, most important of all, idk how the chemistry would be between him and the rest. But if it worked, then yeah, it'd be a real threat, especially on the quick counterattacks. Can you picture Vinicius and Mbappé launched together? Rodrygo too. You gotta have strong, quick, young, smart, energetic defence. Which, oh! We do!
That's why I'm not really alarmed. People make it seem worse than it is, just like this ridiculous thing with Bayern. The club held up to Zidane's Galacticos; and held up to the BBC's era. It's just another combination, and it's really exciting, actually, to push our team to be better. We had a good defence last year? Get it better, because you have no choice. How will Araújo, Koundé, Baldé, Christensen improve? How will we deal with the injuries - cause without them, it's a big no-no. How can we keep and move the ball (esp with Busquets gone), defend the counterattacks like that one against Betis, work on our own (we can't rely on Dembélé alone, and Lewandowski can't be our sole goalscorer if we want to be serious about Europe), etc. We gotta improve our mentality, cause we can't afford to crumble after taking a goal. It will also make us not take la Liga for granted, which is something that we used to do for the past decade. Madrid will def be a threat if they figure where to play Mbappé and if he adapts well, but, as we're getting back together as a team, it will be exciting, and perhaps precisely what we need to develop and strenghten those areas of our game. Once again tho, I don't know anything, I'm no coach nor tactician, and we'll just see what happens on the pitch eh?

So why did Nahikari leave Real? She was the captain and she seems to spend almost every moment off the field going back home. Seems silly she went to RM, “far” from home, and now doesn’t start most games and has a struggling team. She also was called up to the NT more when she played for Real. Now that she’s on RM she hasn’t been called up in awhile
If I remember right she said something along the lines of needing to get out of her comfort zone and growing up as a player, implied she wanted to play in a more ambitious team/a team that aspired to win titles etc. Which seeing how this season went doesn’t seem to make much sense, but RM does have more money and resources. She’s also said she’s a RM fan which I’m sure helped. Now, onto speculation lol I think she didn’t like Natalia because she wouldn’t have her play much. That said, I also think Natalia knew she was leaving and she focused on the players that would stay instead. Looking to the future. But that’s obviously my opinion.
About the national team and playing minutes, she hasn’t been playing as well as she used to. Idk if it has to do with her ankle injury or just mentality. She was bought as the star of RM’s project and had a lot of pressure on her, so it can be that it’s all mental. It can also be that she misses her people. That can also affect performance (see Jenni in PSG, for example). If she were anywhere near her usual level she’d both be starting in RM and being called up for sure.
I also wouldn’t call RM a struggling team tbh. They didn’t do well at the start of the season because of the coach, but they’re doing well now they have someone with actual knowledge and brains on the bench. Like I said, she’s just not at her best right now and that makes her not play as much. We don’t know if she’d be playing better in RS or not either.

ik kylian is not going to sign with us but damn, it would be so much fun to have him 😭 ppl can talk shit about him however much they want but he is a great player. idk if he would fit in with the team's current plans (based on what we've seen lately) but yeah.

I know Mbappé gets a lot of criticism for his 'bad attitude', but idk, I would too, probably have a bad attitude if i was playing for PSG, lol. Besides that, he is an undeniably brilliant player and he definitely has that 'it-factor' in him. Unless they are playing in the CL, I don't watch PSG, but what I really like about his playing style is that he's not someone who just waits in front of the net, waiting for his teammates to feed him with balls, but he takes on players himself, and manages incredible solo runs.
However, I'm not sure if he would hit the ground running in the Prem like many think he would. Not because he's not the player, but because he spent his entire career playing in the French League, which has nothing on the Prem in pace. And the expectations would be huge for him, the moment he loses the ball once or misses a chance he would get absolutely crucified.
Obviously, Mbappé is the type of player that you can't reject if he wants to come and play for your club, but I'm also not sure if he would fit into the system. Hell, the only chance I could ever see him play for Liverpool if there is no Salah. For one, because of the wages, and for towo, despite what an incredible manager Klopp is, both in football and human aspects, I just can't see a Mbappé-Darwin-Salah front trio working. And by that I mean working for each other. Right now, with both Mo and Trent, the right side is so much more dominant, the key to our whole play. You can't have both the right and left side shining, one has to be a bit 'sacrificed' for the other.
Besides, even if Mo leaves, and Mbappé is in, our problems in positions are still not fully worked out. Mbappé will want LW, which is Jota's, Diaz's and Cody's preferred position, Darwin either keeps the striker position, or he gets rotated with Cody, perhaps Harvey gets moved into RCM, rotated with someone else from the bench. That also means that Trent stays in the RB position, with the inverted mimic staying as well, Dominik stays in the surpassed RCM position too, because the right side needs to be covered even more so. Again, by no means I'm good at tactics, but I just can't picture it working. It would require a whole new team tactic, and still leave our shortcomings exposed and vulnerable.
But, to mention a positive as well, he would be such a statement signing, would bring in so much engagement (=money) and in time, we could definitely dominate European football with him. The ceiling is high, but even if the impossible happens (and it won't), the risk is great too, and I just can't see either Klopp or the owners taking it.

1. Why did you choose your url ?
Because she has been one of my fav players, in her style of playing and her footwork. I also relate to her a lot as to how she is off the field - i don’t know how to describe it but i feel we are similar in a lot of ways. I have wanted to change it to a parisian player for so long but at the end, i just love and relate to Amel a lot.
2. Any side blogs ?
I do have one! try finding out what it is lol.
3. How long have you been on tumblr ?
I think I created it around 2014 but never really used it except to look for stuff i liked. I have only started an active blog last year i think when i was stuck in lockdown and wanted to talk football a lot more.

i try to remember to tag my queued posts as “a la queue leu leu”. Keeping it very croissant as you can see.
5. Why did you start your blog in the first place ?
I wanted to talk and give my opinion about football a lot more. I don’t think i could really have that experience on the bird app and since none of my friends are really football fans, i decided to start this blog.
6. Why did you choose your icon/pfp ?
Because it's MAK, the queen of paris and france. It is one of the most beautiful pictures from any trophy celebrations anyone has ever done. You cannot do better than her, the trophy, and the eiffel tower!!! It’s just symbolic to me and the queen deserves it!
It was Tobin before because she’s my all time fav. I still have as much love for her tho!
7. Why did you choose your header ?
I had a kylian psg one but since it is the Euros, we had to change one to croissant baguette obviously!!!!!! It is still a Kyky one because helloooo, the best in the world right now. It is from the last time i felt real joy ie World Cup 2018.

Do you know if there's a big difference in quality between the replica jerseys that you can buy on club's website for like 90$ and "fake" ones that you can buy on other website cheaper ? Asking cause I got a PSG one for like 15€ but I'd like to buy a real one so if there's no difference maybe I'll buy an authentic (130€) one instead of a replica
Honestly, there's some copies that are hella good? Lol it depends. I got a Mexico jersey and it turned out to be a fake but I didn't realize until like forever later. I personally wouldn't get the match jersey (130€) over the stadium one (90€). The vapor (or match) shirt is just different because the fabric has some technology that allows for players' skin to breathe better, which makes a different when you're a pro, and I believe the crest and Nike logo are printed on the shirt rather than embroidered. If you want authentic but not crazy expensive (still quite expensive tho :/) just get the stadium jersey. As for a replica that you can get for like 15€ lol, some are veeery good that it's impressive, but some others you can obviously tell it's piracy, so it depends?

It is understandable that Rodgers does not belittle the Scottish football landscape. More typical settings greet Celtic at Ibrox, Pittodrie, Tynecastle and Easter Road. While Celtic were pulling Hamilton apart 4-1, PSG were doing likewise at Metz, winning 5-1.
