why do you not ship huntlow? / gen question!! no hate, I'm curious to hear ur opinion

it feels very underdeveloped to me idk. they didn't have enough time to be fleshed out/developed at allll and i UNDERSTAND that this is because of the cancellation, but i really feel like the show should have maybe either just not made the them canon OR implied it in some kind of (inevitable)timeskip situation. as it stands, there's just nothing for me to care about haha. the way they interact is too broad and surface level. i can understand that they care about each other, but like IDK there's no Clear Cut dynamic there. like i can imagine a lmity dialogue, i can imagine a GSTHOLOMULE dialogue, but htnlw is soo.... like im shurgging my shoulders rn . idk how to explain it but like you know how in marketing if you appeal to everyone you appeal to no one? that's hntlw to me. they dont get enough proper interactions/bonding moments that would leave a strong impression on me. ALSO I FUCKING HATEEE what this ship has done to willow. she does not exist outside of it at this point. she was already maybe not a suupperr popular character, but this entire debacle has just confined her to hunters partner. if you look up the willow tag on tumblr i can guarantee the first dozen or so posts are this ship. i would know, because before i hid the ship tag it was basically the only thing i would see under hashtag willw park. maybe i'm just missing all of the super intricately laid out foreshadowings and motifs and themes for this ship, or maybe im just refusing to admit that yet another boy/girl friendship has been made romantic, maybe im mad that the rejection comic isnt canon, idk! at the end of the day this is my petty opinion, but i really promise i dont care if people like it. on twt especially, post rejection comic, i feel like people got the impression i would fly into a blind rage if i ever saw anyone who shipped them, but its just sooo whatever to me. like im an adult who has friends in real life i really dont care about them outside of like. Mild Annoyance.
