Anthony wanting to end the season with the doodler waving goodbye one last time at a distance. Somber but bittersweet. And then the gang going NO and pulling him in for a dance and the season ending in laughs. Defying the rules of the universe for one last dance. Refusing to let him be left out. After the Doodler spent the show for the most part on the fringes of the story. Wanting human connection but due to Doods nature anytime they tried to reach out they just hurt people. And now the teens are there, all grown up and they’re reaching out for them.

Yeah so I just finished watching Doomsday. What am I gonna do without Rose Tyler wtf. I loved her so much???? I'm gonna cry???? What am I gonna do without her??? One of the books Frank brought was full of pressed flowers and other plants. To prevent the petals from falling and getting caught inside the Discovery, he laminated them and then cut the plastic until it made a thin border. He started hiding them for both Dave and Hal to find, and he had to be extra sneaky, as they’re both very observant. - @frankpooleunofficial
In his collection:
- white camellia
- green carnation
- clematis
- goldenrod
- ivy
- daisy
- white clover
- hyacinth
He’d found the first one hidden between the towels in the closet, then the 3rd access way, then Hal found one in the lab. Flowers. Beautifully preserved. He wondered how long it must’ve taken him to cut them out like this… to connect them. He felt his face flush increasingly at each, greater when he had to explain to Hal who’d respond with a soft bout of feedback.
How was he doing this?
He definitely waited for Dave to be asleep but Hal? Was he ducking around the optical? Shielding himself? He both had to know and did not want to break the illusion.
